Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between screwfix.co.uk and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of screwfix.co.uk. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of screwfix.co.uk, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. screwfix.co.uk is a problematic website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Very unpleasant service
I realise that what I am about to write is not refective of all staff or branches but it only takes one bad apple to lose trade. I won't embarass the individual or branch concerned but let me just say I live in an area where you'd be hard pressed to find an out and out grumpy person. Except at this branch. First of all let me say I am not a tradesperson so am unfamiliar with the quirks of how they operate. Walked in and just one person standing around in the middle of the room fiddling with a mobile phone. No-one else at the counter so walked up to be served. Then got chastised for "jumping the queue". No sign up to say "queue here" though. The man's feet had been standing on some fine arrows which I couldn't see. Naturally I apologised. I then presented a number which proved not to be their actual item code. I was loudly and clearly told off for that and making him search for the proper number. I also requested another small item. He then asked for all my details and immediately issued a receipt. I said "So where's the knife?". Consternation again. Then when I picked up the knife to look at it he snatched it away saying "You can have it when you have paid for it.". I kid you not. I kept calm and polite right up to the end when I couldn't help asking him, rather cheekily I admit, but nothing compared to his nastiness: "So have you all had a charisma bypass operations then?". He said yes. So there you have it... literally a joke of an employee. Well the laugh's on you because this mild mannered 73 year old will take his trade elsewhere. Doesn't the head office monitor employee attitudes - indeed even train them? There are other places to buy, especially on the internet. Perhaps trades people don't get this atrocious service because they are big spenders, I don't know but this is certainly the worst service attitude I have ever encountered in all my years.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
