sas.no Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives sas.no a medium-high trust score on the platform: 74.4. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 74.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to sas.no's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning sas.no, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between sas.no and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of sas.no. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of sas.no, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. sas.no is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether sas.no has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether sas.no boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, sas.no.

Sas customer service is impossible to reach. I’ve spent 8 hours trying to get through in their chat. They’re consistently closing it before answering. My booking was charged twice. After struggling through hours waiting in line by phone, they promised a full refund. Upon reception, they had only refunded half the ticket fare. I had to make a dispute in paypal. But they still kept the seat reservation fee. And they are IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with. I’ll never travel with SAS again. Ever! I am absolutely convinced they hate their customers!
Trying to rebook a business class ticket from Tokyo to Norway. Tried via both app on phone, and via PC. Everything stops after pressing «complete payment» Then contacted customer service via chat, very slow and unable to handle the issue. Except one agent requesting double price of what is quoted as change fee on the web 6000NOK vs 12000NOK. Then another agent said they are not allowed to take credit card info over chat. When i mentioned that another agent just was ready to do that they abruptly closed the chat. However i did download a transcript before that… So if SAS wants to check out this issue then just contact me. I have been a loyal customer for 30+years. Just very frustrated of the level service from SAS lately.
Sas is traditionally known for good service. Now the airline seems to be distressed. At the schedule time of boarding on Friday, departure was suddenly delayed 1,5 hours. No explanation, none on the service-desk, no compensation or perks - nothing! Only a mention from the captain after take with sorry for the delay and the lame ‘due to technical issues’ which is is sas’ code for rubbish and more profitable reallocation of recources.
I have reserved tickets. Then I wanted to cancel the reservation within 24 hours (they have the option). Incredibly, there was no change/cancel reservation option on their website, mobile page or app. This is an unbelievable scam. This company does not even fulfill their basic promises. I am so disappointed, and really furious. I will use every legal way to compensate this. Scammers! Avoid SAS at all costs.
Flight canceled when arriving at airport 06:20 in the morning. Rebooked for a new flight 16 hours later. No compensation, no explenation. For some reason SAS has a HUGE problem with flight delays, cancelations and etc. Allot of my friends have had the same issue, multiple times. Very bad at logistics and they have no care for their customers. On top of that they charge allot more for baggage and flight seats in general. Avoid this company when possible for traveling abroad or domestic.
After I received my flight tickets, I've realized the system had automatically removed some letters from my name and my son's name (infant ticket), so I called customer service to ask what happened. After 5min waiting, I was told I had to pay 60€ for a change name. I told the customer service agent that it was not my fault, but SAS terrible system fault and politely asked to talk to a supervisor if he wasn't able to help me. He started being very rude, telling me I had to pay for a name change and eventually hung up on me!I genuinely don't understand how this company exists!
There is a lot of room for improvement! In my line of work I travel often from place to place. Whether it's national or international I expect top quality service from the cabin crew and easy boarding without or as few problems as possible. My last flight was tough to get through. Horrible customer service at the front desk, impolite cabin crew and rough handling of luggage. I travel with SAS regularly. I usually get good service, but the last flight reduced my liking of the company. Hoping for improvement.
SAS cancelled the morning flight from Evenes, Norway via Oslo to Billund Denmark. There was no help rebooking with SAS at the airport who advised to contact Etraveli/MyTrip who sold the SAS-ticket.As it is Impossible to call Etraveli/MyTrip a new ticket was purchased directly from SAS.SAS, who cancelled the flight. will not refund the new ticket but refers us to Etraveli/MyTrip who did not cancel the flight and is extremely difficult to communicate with.Bad service from SAS. Will report if they change their mind.
The flight to Oslo had to do a stopover in other airport before continue to the destination in Oslo due to a cancel flight. So the flight was delayed almost one hour…. When travel with SAS before it was delayed for 20 minutes, but very nice staff with great service onboard. I have travel with SAS in many years and before and then it have been almost no delays, so hopefully they improve about this and if so i will be happy to fly more with Scandinavian Airlines!
After delayed flight sas didn't offered hotel ( Lady said that we need to look for hotel self because all hotels they have agreement with-are occupied) they gave coupon only for sandwich. Staff was rude
The worst customer service ever!!!SAS cancelled my flight and gave me option to fly next day even though there were flights available on the same day! SAS also changed to flight with connection in Copenhagen and giving 40 min transfer time! When I was trying to rebook my flight to my original date online I was asked to pay for it! Next day does not work for me, so I would like to cancel, however the only option online is voucher and I want my money back. I am trying to contact customer service via phone and obviously nobody picks up the phone for like 1 hour! And Chat customer service cannot do rebooking!
SAS refuses to refund tickets cancelled within 24 hours of purchase! Stay away!1. I purchased 12 economy round trip tickets with SAS to Crete, changed my mind purchased some other tickets and cancelled the initial tickets online at SAS well within SAS 24 hour limit. I took as a precaution a screenshot of the cancellation and refund confirmation page.2. After a few days I called SAS customer service to ask why the purchase had not been refunded to my card. SAS customer service claimed I had not cancelled the tickets, regardless of my screenshot of SAS own refund confirmation page, and said in addition there were no ways for me to complain and even send the screenshot before after the flights have occured (in 4 months!). I.e. I am to blame for some error in the cancellation process in SAS ecommerce solution.Until then, we will travel with 24 instead of 12 tickets and provide SAS with EUR 6000 in additional working capital and hope they will change their mind (not likely) when I (finally) will be allowed to complain sometime in July.Stay away!
Staff stole strong prescription painkillers from my luggage and marked it as lost, no help to be gotten from SAS phone support. Don’t put painkillers or things of value in your luggage, they will be stolen and SAS will do nothing.
This is the worst costumers service i had from all airplane companies, i was mad to wait , run, wait again because of delayd flights. Seems like they are completely not aware of the season, and the weather conditions, emplpyees seem to have huge lack of experience in the workplace they are, the explanations and exuces are announced like they are being made up while they speek. Like preschool named SAS in the airport of Oslo. Was offered only water for all that waiting !!! And they could not sell me beer for some weird reason we cant during take off, but we are standing on place and cleaning snow of the plane was only in plans. This is 3rd time of same experience.. BETTER CHOOSE NORWEGIAN, OR RYANAIR OR ANY OTHER COMPANY, IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE CAUGHT IN THE SAME TRAP OF UNPROFFESIONALITY.
On a recent trip to London, we came across the SAS Lounge situated in Oslo Gardemoen airport Norway. As we were flying SAS that day and my daughter had a SAS loyalty card, she asked if the whole family could come in and in seconds we were whisked into the luxury lounge area.Comfortable sofas, comlimentay beer & wine (usually £12 a glass in the airport bars) was enjoyed with a delicate selection of both hot and cold buffets.Free WiFi (fast!) was also available. In fact I didn't want to leave!Check-in went swift and painless and in no time we were in the air.I go on countless trips but this was the first time I could actually hear what the flight attendants were saying over the PA system. The trolley service was excellent with a wide range on offer and before we knew it, we had landed almost 15 minutes ahead of schedule. All airlines are not equal - guess who I'm booking my next flight with.Tony ArmstrongNorway
Really bad costumer service! I have been trying to get compensation for my damaged luggage that was settled ,but i cant get a response from them when the evaluation was done and i asked for the payment!
I had a very bad experience with their staff at the airport of Bergen and wrote a well formulated formal complaint. They have a 6-7 weeks time span for answering. But I didn’t hear anything even after all that time if waiting. I wrote again, received a ‘case number’ again, but didn’t hear anything from them this time either. SAS has ended up on my «never-again»-list, I choose any other flight company.
These pilots are not to be trusted! Supremely unreliable customer "service". The company obviously speculate in difficult communication and webpages in order to f***k their clientes. Stay away! As many others have mentioned, not being able to give score ZERO makes this company look better here than it is.
I had my flight cancelled due to COVID in Jul/2020. SAS gave me a "refundable" voucher that I never used and I've been trying HARD to request my money back since August/2021. They make everything VERY DIFFICULT and the customer service is extremely slow.I gave them my banking details in September and hey said 5-7 working days for the money. It's been 2 months and still NOTHING! I've been through the same process with KLM and QATAR and got my money back within the time they promised!
Have a Gold Eurobonus card and over 50,000 bonus points. Trying to add bonus points for a business class trip for two. Chat online does not function at all. Tried several browsers. No online help. No description of how combine points and cash online. Waited for over an hour on their telephone "help" line and finally gave up. Went over to KLM.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
