Is santander.nl Legit?

The agent who help me is really kind and offer a solution for my application. She is doing her job properly. Thank you so much

All I want to do is pay the remaining balance on my finance on my credit card. I've already paid most of it via bank transfer. I've tried to do it online but it says to contact customer services. I've now been on hold with them for over an hour to pay the bill. I have a life and this is an unacceptable amount of time to wait when your website won't let me do it myself!

Unfortunately there is not a zero stars option. If you use this company, beware, they do not keep to the agreed contract. I have a car via them and received a penalty charge, which they paid without any ,consultation with me. In the contract it mentions twice, I am unable to appeal because the parking company has the monet and not interested

Appaling customer service. Kept waiting multiple times on the 0800 contact longer than 50 minutes, with no answer. Live Chat isn't live - it's AI and fails to resolve issues and eventually directs you to the 0800 number, to rinse and repeat with ridiculous wait times that never get answered.

Currently trying to pay off my car finance and Santander making it very difficult. 2 cards declined, have changed my address to ensure everything matches (the form to do this was ridiculously long compared to other banks), no communication so far as to whether this has been actioned. Can't get through on the phone to ask what needs to be done. My mortgage is currently with Santander and I'll be changing it as soon as possible as not being able to reach customer service is not acceptable.

If I could leave 0 stars I would - I’ve held on for an hour to get through without success or any updates on how’s long I would wait - absolute disgrace.

From the very beginning customer service was excellent. From all the staff we rang with a problem they had a solution. Especially Railey Hansen who guided through the process step by step even taking time on his free day to make sure the application was completed correctly. Very impressed with the whole process. Thank you guys and girls.

Start was so bad, I had to call and speak full month with 5 different employees. The last that did something about my case was the woman (I forgot the name), and than Ivo van Beek contacted me and guided me with all documents and proces. He was very kind and willing to help regard my Dutch language limitation. Because of him and the woman I will highly recommend your bank to my friends and colleagues and probably give contact details of Ivo.

SCF paid a parking ticket, £60, which was issued in error, without consulting me, this meant I could not contest it and they then had the audacity to charge an extra £30 admin fee for the privilege! I could have had it rescinded as I had a booking confirmation as back up but was unable to appeal as they had already paid the company. It would have been no stars if it was possible. Awful company that just want to rob you!

I have received support from Mr. Railey Hansen to my satisfaction. The work approach of Mr. Hansen is highly professional and customer-focused. I received on time the information regarding what was required from me and what I had to provide to the Bank, all my questions were answered professionally, required information was provided to me on time, the clarification questions for me from Mr. Hansen were professional and clear so that I could prepare the documents on time. Also what I found important is that I could always contact Mr. Railey Hansen or one of his colleagues in case of any questions. No way to get support. the automatic restor password does not work. tried 4 times in 3 days. Impossible to reach someone on the phone this morning. Really a shame which damage enormously a global brand such as Santander.

Had a very stressful experience with a car dealer who waited until the very last minute to pay off the Santander finance and then couldn't get the electronic banking to work. They then sent a cheque(!) recorded delivery which meant that by the time it had cleared my settlement figure had expired by over two weeks. They put a note on my file about the issues and didn't charge any extra interest and the very day they said it would clear they sent me a bank transfer for the two payments I had paid waiting on the incompetent dealer to pay up, without being prompted. Would certainly put finance through them again.

Best service ever... it is call fast loan for a good reason... and yes! They are fast! Needed some extra cash to furnish my house and got it within 2 days. Mathias, very diligently proceed with my query and understood the urgency of it, being very efficient and understanding, super proactive and clear on what he needed from us. Super big thanks to Mathias and his colleagues! :)

Had a very helpful conversation with Abeera. Was answered almost straight away and she promptly found my agreement, dealt with security, and I was able to change my direct debit very easily. A good experience to achieve what I wanted to do so quickly. Thank you and I look forward to continued business.

I have contacted Santander for a loan. The contact was really quick, they also react on emails, cals really fast. An agent, Mr Pauli was taking care of my case. He was very supportive in every meaning, giving advice, help proceeding the documents the right way and all this with a really positive attitude, even tho he was talking to a foreigner in english language (me) in the Netherlands. I honestly recommend santander and their services.

Appalling service. Car broke down in November '22. Santander's inspector concluded that it was my fault but gave less than half the information. DEKRA then inspected and said that they had never seen anything like it and that there was no way that I could have done this. Contacted the Financial Ombudsman in Feb '23. The Ombudsman gave Santander a final letter in May '23 and I am still chasing twice weekly getting nowhere. An utter disgrace to customer service and never belive them when they give you a date that it will be settled..

I have had the best customer service experience ever from a financial institution. With the support of Railey Hansen, who answered all questions and guided the process, this was a smooth, easy, and fast process. I highly recommend it for all financial needs.

Absolutely disgusted by the customer service in UK. Is one of the most unprofessional, untrained, unexperienced customer service provider that I ever met and this is a WARNING for all of you in UK looking to deal with them: DO NOT!!! Stay away from this people, they cannot even handle a phone call, they will shut the phone in your nose cause, they will never sort out your issues and you will never be able to speak with anyone competent ever! This is from far the worst bank experience i ever encounter with a bank!!! STAY AWAY FROM SANTANDER AT ALL MEANS!!!!
