Make sure you have the Safeway sales person clearly spell out the details of the move and the charges before signing an agreement. Also, like other movers, they write very dense agreements to put you off from reading the fine print, but make sure you read carefully! Wasn't until I read the Bill of Lading contract that I saw in very tiny print that the "First Date Available for Delivery", which the customer sets, is only the date that starts the clock on the 30 BUSINESS days Safeway has to deliver your goods. First Date Available is not the first date Safeway might deliver. In fact, on 2 phone calls they said they expected to deliver in a 2 week window starting on First Date Available, but that's NOT TRUE! In fact, they delivered on the 28th business day to me, which was almost 2 months after the First Dave Available and I had to pay extra furniture rental charges for a month because they didn't deliver soon enough. They're also very hazy about how much extra room you have under the cubic feet maximum you pay for vs. what you had planned to ship. I actually could have moved several more boxes if I had known. Make sure you buy more insurance than the minimum. The sales guy advised me to not buy more but that's wrong. Always assume in a move of furniture some of it will be damaged. The minimum insurance coverage is $ or $2 per pound of furniture damaged so it gets you very little. Buy more coverage! Finally, the thing that pisses me off the most is they have a huge information advantage over you because we only employ movers a few times during our lifetime. Instead of taking advantage of our lack of knowledge and trying to rush us to sign a contract, they should be walking through all the key details to make sure we understand the pros and cons and not withholding information.

I loved relocating to my new home. The relocation guys did amazing work, keeping me updated throughout. I moved without any tension, damages or hidden charges. I admire their dependability.

My wife and I couldn't have asked for a better experience during our long-distance move. The moving unit came at 12 pm and got right to work. They were careful while handling our possessions and made sure to transport the heavier items to the trucks on the dollies they brought. We were relieved when we received everything in immaculate conditions. We absolutely recommend them!

Austin helped me secure a professional crew on very short notice (less than 24 hours) for my out of state move. He was super responsive and even stayed a bit past working hours to get the job secured. The crew gave me a time they'd be there and they actually arrived just a little early. The process was super easy; they wrapped up all my furniture, loaded it into the truck and were even gracious to move some stuff I didn't ask for but was much appreciated. Overall, was a great experience and would recommend!

Where do I even start? The salesman promised a company owned truck with Safeway employees. He lowered his price to match a reputable mover we should have gone with. We got two rental trucks with contracted packers (different on each end of the move) who broke glassware, damaged furniture and dumped a lot of our boxes in the garage. The box labels were unreadable, we had kitchen items out there, linens, a TV stand with a missing part we never did find. The price we were charged was even higher than the original quote that was lowered. The 'great insurance' we bought from them is a joke. They won't respond to the request we submitted. Oh, and two paintings are missing. NEVER use these people.

The moving team was incredibly accommodating and the packers handled everything.

Their efficiency in loading and unloading made our move go off without a hitch.

Amazing Movers. I have used their moving services on multiple occasions throughout the years. The moves were incredibly helpful and quick to respond as they moved my possessions. Out of this world-five stars! I strongly suggest it!

They are truly a horrible company, who lies about their capabilities and the professionalism of the company. They are only interested in overcharging people.My custom built dining table was broken (they did not tell me) and when I noticed it - they basically laughed and told me to call the company.They did not use moving cloths, despite my house having hardwood floors that had just been refinished (completely damaged) - even though I asked them several times.The told me they were professional and could things such as my bed and desk apart - they could not put them back together and then I had to pay someone else.The insurance they provide you is complete crap (DO NOT USE THE ONE THEY RECOMMEND) - it will not pay for a single item and the process is horrible.I have to find a way to consolidate all the paperwork into one upload as they will not accept more than one file, but it has to be under a certain size - so basically a real task to be able to file anything against them. And of course, it was more than they quoted me.....I hope your company gets the karma they deserve - you are a trash company for how you treat people.

Safeway Moving is by far the best company I've ever worked with because they do such great packing and storage.

They Showed up to 10 am like they said and worked with dedication from packing to delivery. I was impressed with how they wrapped it up flawlessly in 8 hours (including delivery time).will definitely hire them again!

I had such high hopes for this company and was so incredibly disappointed. Safeway ruined thousands of dollars of our things, including water damage that they never disclosed! They lied to us about when our belongings would arrive and went so far as to give us false tracking information. Boxes arrived crushed and with holes in them. Dozens of boxes never arrived at all. The truck looked like they had thrown our items in - there was a 100+ lb. chair on top of a pile of fragile boxes. They brought clearly labeled boxes in upside down! They had put heavy boxes on top of boxes that were clearly marked with fragile items like lamps. They showed a complete disregard for our belongings. I have never had such a horrible experience with a moving company. They never apologized or even attempted to make things right.

The complete staff is a breath of fresh air. From start to finish all of them was very professional. The truck arrived at 12 noon and was completely loaded within 45 minutes. I was give a date that my items would be delivered but as I was traveling via Air I received a call that they were already close to me which was a day earlier.
