Is safervpn.com Legit?

Absolute rubbish of a VPN service. And when you quit, they automatically continue to take money from your credit card and when you ask for a refund, they say you didn't quit on time? Thieves and swindlers are called that today and no more. Update 22.08.2023 I have to write a positive update. After my reaction, Safer VPN got back to me without me telling them anything and they returned the money, which was taken from my credit card for a service I don't use. To be understood correctly, the Safer VPN service I tested worked as it should, but Netflix and other services did not work for me because they all collect our information, Google, FB, YouTube, Netflix, and if you have a VPN, then there is no information and the service is blocked. VPN was useless for me too. SaferVPN thanks and keep it up.

REGISTERED 2 WEEKS AGO. PAID THE MONTH BUT THEY NEVER SENT THE REGISTRATION EMAIL. THEN I ASKED THEM TO RETURN MY MONEY BACK AND I JUST GOT SUPERFICIAL ANSWERS, AND AFTER 2 EMAILS THEY ARE IGNORING ME. NEVER GET THIS SERVICE!! THEN, I GOT THE SERVICE FROM EXPRESSVPN AND THEY ARE AMAZING. ME REGISTRÉ HACE DOS SEMANAS, PAGUÉ EL MES Y NUNCA LLEGUÉ A RECIBIR EL CORREO PARA REGISTRARME. ASÍ QUE LES PEDÍ DE VUELTA EL DINERO YA QUE NO HABÍA RECIBIDO NINGÚN SERVICIO POR SU PARTE Y LO ÚNICO QUE HAN HECHO ES DARME LARGAS E IGNORAR MIS EMAILS. NUNCA CONTRATÉIS ESTE SERVICIO.

Used it several times during about 3 weeks. After that, never worked again, always wanted to connect, but never could. Then, three years later, they prolungate three more years, without asking. They know that it is very complicated to get your money back, so they just do what they want.

Paid customer for several years. This has become completely unusable. I use it to play "play money" poker with friends around the world once a week. I need to contact "Simon Webber" at customer support EVERY SINGLE TIME I use this app. I'm not exaggerating - EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's like asking a parent if I can use the internet, please? I'm starting to think it might actually be quite malicious. I'm uninstalling and demanding a refund. DO NOT INSTALL, DO NOT DOWNLOAD, KEEP LOOKING, GOOD LUCK - BETTER LUCK WITHOUT THIS P.O.S.

Really bad customer service and really bad connection. I have 100Mb internet and rarely get more than 1.5Mb using SaferVPN despite their marketing claims of "Blazing Speed and Unlimited Streaming".They also constantly disconnect and then support is appaling. Contact and they disconnect your chat. Suggesting I switch off location service (disabling find my mac security) etc. Suggesting it's my Mac (despite it being at the router and also the app doesn't work on my phone. Just appaling service and I wish I'd realised before the auto-renewal.

wasnt working with my chrome and i made the mistake of contacting their customer service, dont do it , they will ,make you do everything instead of just canceling if your device is having issues, they start being pushy. I spent 1 hour trying to get it sorted and it didnt work . Just use it if it works right away , otherwise just dont/.

I paid for subscription annually. Money was taken from my Apple account but service was not provided. I contacted Safervpn several times by email and sent payment details. They eventually replied saying they had problems with Apple payments and suggested I ask Apple for a refund. I contacted Apple and they refused the refund. I have lost my money and have service from Safervpn. RIP off.

The support answer fast. BUT, I don't know who decided to not save login details as it was before. This is a very bad decision and for it I give just 1 star. Make life easier, do not complicate it. There is no sense "for privacy reasons", no. All other companies saves login details or create a quick "pin" but you ask to insert the STRONG password + login email every time I want to use it.

This rating is ONLY for SaferVPN's billing department. They are not worth any star!I am the owner of a 3 year subscription and all over satisfied. A few weeks ago I complained about the Amazon Prime Video service is not working. The Online Helper did not understand my partial complains and started a cancellation process with refund.Within an email I explained the fault and payed a new 3 year subscription. I got an email that they will transfer the advised refund to my account I paid from which was PayPal. This was 4 weeks ago and up today no money arrived. I am complaining every day via email and receive a ticket number but no single response. The billing department is a cheating department!

Just come back to the UK after a few months abroad. I have tried several times to activate the VPN and it tells me 'login error' when instead everything is correct with my log on details. Also, when I click 'help' it takes me to a page where it says that 'safervpn' refuses to connect'. Honestly, I do not know what to think! I cannot even go to their official home page because I get the same response.. what shall I do? I am really disappointed!!

My VPN has not been working for more than 3 weeks due to technical issues attributable to SaferVPN. Their "engineers" tried to resolve the problem through remote session on my computer, but to no avail. However, SaferVPN is purely and simply ignoring my refund requests.

have been with SAFER for just over 5 yrs now and find them reliable to a tee. never drops out in middle of ones session. Only downside is having no terminal [ if that is the word I'm looking for ]. in Philippines and therefore my friends can not open their Skype or Facebook unless the connection is tricked into thinking you are actually in the Philippines. Are you trying to work towards getting one there .

Had their service for years and it worked great!!! Recently - over the last 3 weeks - their service does not connect at all. Spent hours online with their technical support - no solution!Be aware that you will not get any money back unless you cancel the service within the first 30 days. I have 6 months left ....

I've been using SaferVPN for3 years now and I am thoroughly satisfied by the software. Smooth, easy to install and maintain, and of course with a Chrome plug-in. On top of its technical features, it also comes with an amazingly efficient customer service team. Both times I've needed them, they replied immediately and solved the admin/tech issues straight away.Highly recommended.

pretty good app, but it is puzzling how the extensions for Chrome and Firefox are not working properly, I have continuous problems that not even the service can solve.I regret having made the three-year subscription and obviously they will not refund me

I’ve signed up for a year service to access mainly UK server but unfortunately it has stopped working on the certain websites(All4 and ITV) after 3 months so I had to cancel the service. But the staff are working very hard to fix it and once offered me an extra free month. And even when I requested a cancellation and refund, They were very smooth and considerate. I will definitely use SaferVPN once UK server is fixed!

Its been very frustrating for the past year. I could no longer log onto to my account. The customer service agent set me up with a different userid. I was contacted by Safer VPN that my subscription expired but I told them I had 2 months left. They have the worst customer service I Have ever had. There are other VPN's out there. Stay away from this one .

Got a promo for a lifetime service with them. It didn't reflect that on my subscription page, but customer support incredibly fast in answering when I questioned about this. He assured it was just a limitation of the site, to not being able to display more than their highest level of normal subscriptionI mean so far I've on had it for 2 days, but seems to work well enough.

As an expat in Malaysia I have a 50Mbps ISP contract which works well in Malaysia but not when connecting overseas for online studies involving ebook access and reading and video conferencing. Speed to Australia was just 6Mbps and interrupted even Youtube streaming. Selecting the best working protocol with SaferVPN over the MY server did wonders and all works very smoothly and conveniently. Will extend SaferVPN from 1 month to one year now.Works Great and thanks Ethan Dawson for the fast support
