Is saboskirt.com Legit?

Purely as an Aussie buyer who has never had to return anything bought from here, I’ve made a lot of orders over the years (around 15) and the quality/fit for the price has always been a reason for me to keep buying.I always do a deep dive into the material, fit, reviews on the site, instagram photos, etc to determine if the item is suitable. I have yet to have any issues. I receive the items in Adelaide in 2-3 business days. If you’re located in Australia, definitely give the brand a shot. Hopefully this review make you a little less scared 😂

Sabo deserves negative ten stars the absolute worst company. USA customers to not use them they do not protect orders it “arrived” three weeks late and was never delivered to me when I complained to company they did not one thing and never filled a claim or reimbursed money. Do not purchase from them. I am currently filing a complaint with us about this fraudulent company.

I used to be a huge fan. Great designs, beautiful quality, personal service. In the last couple of years the standards dropped. But the worst thing is the prices have gone up substantially & the quality as well as the service have gone downhill. It’s really disappointing. Last order I never even received. Payed $236 for a jumper & shorts. Haven’t heard from saboskirt for over 2 weeks. Not even thank you for being patient, we will post your items as soon as possible. Tried to email them about my order but it bounced back. Honestly so sad. It has become transactional & not worthy. I do not recommend.

I ordered 4 items. They did not ship one of my items and failed to informed me. They lied to me stating they did send it when I followed up. Do no buy from them, they will not fulfill your entire order. Lie and say they shipped it out and then they will asked for supporting documents and ask not to send multiple emails. Their support team is horrible not to mention they confidently lie and there is better stores to give your business to.

I purchased the Eclipse Sweater in Size S & have received so many compliments since wearing it out and about. It’s probably the prettiest sweater I’ve ever owned 🥰😍 Thankyou SABO.

THE RETURN POLICY IS ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE IF YOU ARE ORDERING FROMTHE US PRAY IT FITS PERFECT (which btw it’s a brand from Australia and so sizing is different apparently even if you take your measurements) IVE SPEND A MONTH WAITING FOR THEM TO UPDATE ME ON A RETURN AND STILL NOTHING. ANY REAL NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON WEBSTIE IS FILTERED OUT MATERIAL IS CHEAP AND THEY ARE EXPENSIVE ALSO THEY ARE NOT CHEAP I SPEND ALMOST $300

Bad experience. The customer service email does not work and the returns are crazy expensive. No one could give me adequate help to get my return sorted. I tried generating their return label online via their website and it was so confusing. It kept generating (3) labels at $20 each meaning I’d have to ship (3) different packages. I finally gave up and paid $60 to return my items. It is absolutely wild that they expect customers to pay that much for a return. I would not buy from them in you’re in the US. Trying to figure this out has taken up my entire week and cost a lot of money.

I used to love Sabo Skirt, when the prices were justifiable, but recently i find it ridiculous, paying $70 for small crop top is a bit steep. I have had multiple orders from them that i had to alter and fix myself, I bought a dress and the arm was stitched on upside down, have some dresses I have to safety pin to my bra straps or cups because the keep falling off the shoulders or gaping at the bust and they are the right size just poorly made. The quality doesn’t match the high price tag.

Bought an Ashton jumpsuit, only got to wear it once before it started falling apart. Expected better quality given the jumpsuit was $84. Commented my concerns on their Instagram and they just deleted my comment. Very unprofessional, will never shop here again.

Found a beautiful outfit for my daughter for Christmas at the absolute last minute, 21st December. Sizes not available though. A staff member at Chermside checked other store and online. Found it online, I ordered it and it was despatched express and arrives today 22nd December. Thank you so much to warehouse team and Chermside staff member. You all did so much to help me.

Wish I'd read reviews before ordering from UK- this is a copy of the email I have just sent the company in order to illustrate my experience "I placed an order with yourselves 26th April, I added more and more to my bag in order to fulfill the required amount for free UK shipping and nowhere at all obvious did it indicate that I would be hit with a huge customs order on arrival to the UK. It isn't stated before purchase, it isn't stated on the confirmation email, however there is a huge banner at the top of the website to entice retailers to spend more for free delivery, and in meeting this criteria you open yourself to these huge charges for goods worth over £139. A customs bill of 40% of my bill, I'm devastated, this is crazy money. They will hold for 21days before returning to sender- what, can I ask will happen then? If its returned will I get charged a return delivery fee?? Will I get a full refund??? I would like clarification on this ASAP. What you're doing to UK customers is disgusting"

Misleading! Ordered £1000 worth of clothes to then be told I’ll have to pay 360 for shipping. Didn’t mention anything at checkout other than free shipping to uk. No reply on email when trying to get in touch.

UK buyers avoid this! They changed international taxes policy, and ask YOU to phone the custom for the VATtax and customs fees details! I have to pay for £95 for dresses worth £253, think twice before buying. They did not declare or give false info to the UK custom that this belongs to clothing I think. And I have no idea how I am going to return the international parcel within 14days.

I never received my package. It got sent back without me getting notified about it and I only found out because I emailed them to check up on the tracking. Then I got informed that if I still wanted it, I had to pay for shipping again or I could get a refund but not for the shipping costs. This seems very unfair and bad service. The responses I got from them were also borderline rude. They have amazing clothes but don’t deserve to sell anything. Very unfortunate.

Awful quality, all 3 dresses looked nothing like the photos and cost more to return than they are worth. Not worth the money, this was a huge disappointment.

I purchased a pair of heels recently from Sabo and noticed one of the pairs had its soil tape coming off and not properly glued on, Sabo offered me a partial refund. I am disappointed as I paid quite a decent amount for these yet I didn't receive a quality pair!!! Maybe next time check the shoes before shipping them.

I love sabo skirt- last year I ordered two dresses that are literally perfect and last week I ordered heels, which I also completely love. Their items are always exactly as expected and the quality is great. The delivery time took what longer than I’d expected, but when I contacted them they were very helpful.

I recently bought some clothes for my birthday but fell sick and had to move house suddenly so I couldn’t try them on until a few days after the 14 days refundable period. The quality of the garments were great and definitely priced appropriately. Some of the garments came up small on the chest for me but I’m a FF/G cup so I returned 3/4 of the items. I liaised with customer service, Lily, where I explained my situation. She was understanding and responded quickly and approved a good gestured one-off refund. I couldn’t be more grateful for the service and quality. Service like this is rare these days so Saboskirt have gained my loyalty!

I was a little nervous placing my order at first knowing how international shipments have been delayed during the pandemic. However, I was kept in the loop about the status of my package throughout the entire process and it arrived and it’s lovely! Definitely shop Sabo Skirt if you see something you like. Ordering from Australia. WORST COMPANY. I purchased a dress but cancelled my order straight away as it was the wrong size. They “refunded” it a few days later. When the refund processed, the money was minused again a second later and they REFUSED to give the money back or provide an explanation as to how it happened. They emailed me back saying, “according to IT, not our fault” after multiple attempts to contact them again- still nothing. Horrible business

My order arrived within a about 2 days which was amazing since I live in regional SA, usually it takes 4-5 business days. Their website is easy to use, straight forward and customer service has always been quick and efficient in past times. Reason I chose this business: I chose Sabo Skirt because recently they have really stepped up their game over the last coming years, other websites have the same dresses and tops over and over again. Every online boutique feels like they all stock the same clothing. SS has different styles, with great quality products, reasonably priced and ship so quickly. Reason I chose this product: It gave me such expensive and designer vibes without the hefty price tag attached. This is by far my favorite place to shop online in terms of Australian clothing stores. They are amazing and the products are unique and gorgeous. I have shopped from this website for years and continue to do so. The customer service team is fantastic and very fast to respond. The only down fall is the continuous price hikes which I am willing to pay for the unique items. Some items they carry are similar if not the same as other Aussie websites so just keep an eye out, but sabo skirt carries their own line now which is pretty one of kind (sabo luxe, sabo formal). They also do surprise discount codes which are always good to keep an eye out for if you're trying to save money!

I found this brand through social media and then became obsessed and obviously it's from Australia because what cute brand isn't from there? Things are definitely pricey but I think the material is great and cut and sew is awesome. Only downside is that since it's coming from Australia, shipping takes awhile (over a few weeks) and if you need to return, cost is on you to send it back to there (especially if you're in the US that's a no go). Clothes were shipped so fast, and while their price can seem kind of steep for "fast fashion", it is NOT fast fashion. Insanely high quality clothes (ordered white shorts that ended up being lined) and the quality of the knitted goods I purchased was unreal. You can tell someone/some people have put their heart and soul into designing, and see to it that it's carried out flawlessly. I can tell my clothes are going to last a long time, and I've gotten compliments. Absolutely worth it to pay a little bit more for unique, quality clothing versus buying the same thing over and over again because it falls apart. Lastly, I accidentally ordered the wrong size in shorts, immediately emailed them, and got a response back within the hour confirming the size change. I couldn't be happier, I just wanted to rave about how amazing this company is that I emailed them asking about where I could review!

“Worst company”

Sabo skirt is the absolute worst company. They ship items extremely slow from Australia, my item never arrived to me and Sabo did not help me at all so now I lost money. They will never refund you money if you don't like item they will offer you store credit. Beware of this site they are horrible. Tip for consumers:Never shop from here.
