Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between s-pankki.fi and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of s-pankki.fi. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of s-pankki.fi, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. s-pankki.fi is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. We arrived at Prisma Iso Omena at 14:45 to open a bank account at S-Pankki, took a queue number, and were called into Room 1 by a lady at 15:30 on August 16. My wife presented her ID, paid a 100 euro service fee, and signed all the necessary documents. However, when it came to answering the security questions, my wife didnt fully understand one of them. I helped by translating, but the lady abruptly stopped the process, insisting that we return with an official Finnish translator. This is unacceptable! We had already paid the fee and completed the forms. The representative was unhelpful and even refused to provide her name when asked. Such employees should never be allowed to work with people. I demanded the 100 euros back, which was fortunately returned, but the experience left us deeply dissatisfied. We have never faced such poor customer service at Nordea, where we now plan to open an account.I am extremely disappointed with S-Pankki and I want my bank account closed immediately as well. I dont want to be your customer any longer. I already wrote to you in the bank app. Thanks for your help and understanding and hope you will improve your services in the future.
Almost the best in Finland. They offer free banking services if you deposit 100€(refundable). SEPA fast transit payments are available. Easy to use mobile app. They have a lot of offices built into supermarkets(Prisma, S-Market, etc).
If waiting is on of your passion, you definitely have to get an S-Pankki account - trust me you won't be disappointed. In the internet is says that S-pankki has between 500-1000 employees - however, concerning the time i was waiting just to get the bank codes it feels like there are about 5 - of which 3 are on vacation. No seriously - hire more people if you really are that busy..!!
This is the worst bank in Finland. They don’t have enough customer service in English in their webpages and in person. The workers are rude and if something goes wrong or you want to make a complaint, they don’t give you a number to contact or any alternative to solve the situation. You are 100% on your own in this bank, I would NOT recommend this to anyone especially foreigners. I will change banks asap!
Terrible bank, cannot process online card payments of any sort if they're larger than 10-20 eur because the transfers are always caught by "risk evaluation bot" or something similar, thus I cannot do online payments which exceed two numbers which renders the whole bank unusable for me personally. Better use some other option instead which actually works. I've never had such issue with other banks when paying with a card.
Wow, where do I start. We thought it was a good idea to get a home loan from S Pankki. On the day we had to officially hand over the documents and meet at S Pankki headquarters with both lawyers, S Pankki lost all the already signed papers and then had the nerve to blame us for their complete incompetence. When we tried to phone to complain we were given such attitude for their error. It was such a disaster and the worst part was their arrogance and contempt and refusal to help in any way or accept responsibility. I have no idea how this bank is able to function with that staff. Next my 82 year old father comes to Finland to visit and loses his bank card on the plane. I loan him money which he promptly repays once back home in another country. Next thing S Pankki messages me that they don't support terrorism and that my 600€ once off is being investigated and if I want the money I will need to supply a birth certificate. I'm done with this bank. Never received such unprofessional service before.
Terrible bank. When I applied for a business loan they declined without even viewing my application on the basis that I did not speak in Finnish. They didn't even look at it. Staff are rude, act bored and are dismissive and disrespectful of anyone who does not speak fluent Finnish or is a Finn. Their 'English language' service was a person who refused to speak to me entirely and spoke instead to my Finnish husband in Finnish, ignoring me completely, not even making eye contact. I can actually understand a fair amount of Finnish but it was as if I did not exist. They have now blocked my card due to a 'suspicious tranaction' of ZERO EUROS which was a simple card check. I messaged them in Finnish to ask them to unblock it and they told me to call. I cannot call as I need my card to pay to top up my phone. So now I am stuck with no money thanks to them. They don't care a single bit. Sick of them. I will move to Nordea, they have excellent customer service and aren't xenophobic.
I concur those who say they don't treat foreigners well. I asked them if I could open an account, and their reason for not doing so was my lack of Finnish or Swedish (I understand written Swedish pretty well actually) but lack of language skills shouldn't be a big enough issue to deny someone a bank account, when having one is near essential in this day and age (authentication) When I came to Finland and had to register my stay at the DVV they didn't have any trouble registering me, they just needed to know which contact language I prefered, and I picked Finnish even those I didn't speak it very well (and I am still learning) because there are translation options available. So it's kind of funny how a bank denies someone access based on something that's so easily solvable. And from what I can read from the Finnish reviews, they don't seem to treat actual Finns that well either!
Unfortunately, my experience with S-Pankki's customer service was very disappointing. I found them to be disrespectful and racist, and I felt like I was treated poorly. The representatives I spoke with were unhelpful and dismissive, and I was left feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. In particular, I had an issue with a transaction that was mishandled by the bank, and when I contacted customer service for assistance, I was met with hostility and indifference. I felt like I was being blamed for the issue, and when I tried to explain my side of the story, the representative cut me off and spoke to me in a condescending manner. All in all, I would not recommend S-Pankki based on my negative experience with their customer service. On a positive note, I found that S-Pankki's fees were very low, and I appreciated the cost savings. Compared to other banks, S-Pankki's fees were very reasonable, and I felt like I was getting a good deal. Additionally, I found that their online banking platform was user-friendly and easy to navigate, which made it convenient to manage my finances. However, it's important to note that my positive experience with S-Pankki was solely related to their fees and online banking platform and not their customer service. Based on my negative experience with their representatives, I would caution others to proceed with caution when it comes to interacting with S-Pankki's customer service team.
no support for other languages. and the application is practically not updated, very outdated

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
