Is ryman.co.uk Legit?

I used the DHL service via the Ryman Store in St George's Centre in Preston. I had three large consignments of books to process and dispatch to Greece. The service provided by Tracey, the Store Manager, was friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. Very impressive - thanks Tracey

Holborn Branch useless with no customer service. Women in this branch have no manners. They ignore you and do there own stuff behind counter. Never apologise for keeping customers waiting. When will this branch close. STAFF nicer at great ormond street Rymans.

I found it incredulous that the Manager of the Dartford Branch did not know how to process a Weston Union transaction for me! Had to return later for someone else to do it. Managers should know how to do everything under their command. Poor show.

Friendly and helpful staff in the shop, giving me as much time as I needed to look at all the wonderful items. Lots of choice - I love stationery! Rewards system for returning empty printer cartridges for recycling.

The staff are always helpful and very efficient. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Very cheerful which is nice to see.

Shop assistant was great and signed me up to a loyalty card so I could save some money. Granddaughter loves the shop so we shop regularly for going back to school stuff 😀

The staff at our local Rymans in the Haymarket Centre in Leicester are always friendly and super helpful when buying items (copy paper and pen in this instance). Staff no 409322. Also, whatever your query they always take time and effort in finding a solution.

The services at Preston was excellent! The young lad who served me, Marshall, was really helpful and supportive. I was in a panic for time regarding printing for my wedding the following day and had rang the store to enquire about these services. I spoke to Marshall on the phone and then in store, who was very patient with me as the task took a while on my side to sort. He is a credit to the team! Thank you again for helping me. I never usually write reviews, but asked for his name so I could as a thank you to him.

Excellent service in a potentially distressing situation. I had an urgent print job for a funeral. The original documents were in the wrong format to print back to back. Amanda in the Bury St Edmunds branch sorted out the problem and printed the copies within an hour.

Ordered a metal storage cabinet last week was a good price but was on sale.Got an email today cancelling order stating a mistake was made in the pricing but surely if I paid and bought in good faith they should honour the sale ???

The people who work in Ryman in Bath are so rude. I took my DHL delivery to drop off (which is a service they offer). When I approached the till with my parcel, the shop assistant stared at me aggressively, shouted at me and told me she was dealing with another customer. I hadn't asked her to deal with me before the other customer and I was happy to wait, so I don't know what she was so angry about. If they don't want to deal with DHL parcels, they shouldn't offer that service.

Generally good. Packaging a bit sub-standard - ended up with one broken box lid but not worth the hassle to chase.Update: Unexpected, fast and courteous response from RYMANS in respect to this. I was simply supplying an honest review and didn't want to cause waves as 'stuff happens'. Impressive customer service: my thanks to the team.

Excellent local store; helpful staff and always get what I need.

We love our local Rymans in Lancaster. Staff is always friendly and products are generally good.However, we walked in last weekend to get some documents printed. A bigger job of about 600 pages but box standard black and white nothing fancy and we were quoted a whooping 132£ for it! We obviously said no and just did it online at a competitor where we paid 35£ including postage. Ryman was never the cheapest option but you will have to consider your pricing if you still want customers to come into your shops
