Facebook ad claimed to be a jewelry designer in Arizona selling off her business. Everything on sale. Cheap AliExpress type jewelry, poorly made, shipped from China. No returns for sale items.Webpage in not in the United States, so she's not in Arizona. Not a jewelry designer, products were poorly made and came from China.
Agree with other reviewers. Came up on Instagram as craft person named "Ruth" who was retiring and selling jewelry at a discount. Received the cheapest garbage jewelry. I feel scammed but I guess my fault for falling for such crap.
Ruth's jewelry is a scam. The cheap pieces of "jewelry" are not worth more than 2-5$ and they are not even a real replica of the photos from the website . They are not located in Arizona they are in Mainland China. The "torques" is just splash of paint over cheap material representing "gold-plated" silver; "moonstone" and "pearl" looks the same. Jewelry is not made of 925 silver as advertised, there is no single piece of jewelry with the stamp on it. Total scam. Total Rubbish. Should be rated zero
Ruth’s Gems is dishonest in their information and products. The jewelry is of low quality and made in China. Delivery was delayed and came from China not here in the US as they state they are located. Do not buy these products.

This site claims to be an individual jewelry designer in Arizona offering discounted jewelry because she is closing up shop after 20 years. The phone number is disconnected and the jewelry is being shipped from China. Unfortunately I placed an order and have not yet received it yet but am not expecting quality.

I fell for this scam; purchased a pair of earrings and after seeing several other sites advertising the same jewelry, same story, but different name, I realized my error in ordering. Ruth is not in Arizona, the item tracking started in the Netherlands, then shipped from China. I called the phone number listed for Arizona and of course is not a working number and no response to emails. The earrings did arrive, definitely poor quality and no way to return. I feel foolish, but learned a lesson.
Ordered 3 pairs of earrings. One came broken other 2 were not good quality. So, I contacted them via email. They promptly got back to me with the address to return it to. The instructions: To proceed with the return, please return the item to our warehouse located in China. The warehouse address is provided in the attached form. Once you have initiated the return shipment, kindly provide us with the return tracking number. This will help us to track the status of your return efficiently. Please rest assured that once we receive the item back at our facility in China, we will promptly initiate your refund. Ordered 3 pairs of earrings. One came broken other 2 were not good quality. So, I contacted them via email. They promptly got back to me with the address to return it to. The instructions: To proceed with the return, please return the item to our warehouse located in China. I too fell for this sham of a business. Ordered and received a necklace that looked nothing like the photo. Materials are cheap and it looks like a kid assembled it. Return instructions were the same as the previous reviewer; to send to China. Postage surely more than the price of the necklace. Feel duped and won’t do that again!
Yes I got scammed too! Waiting for delivery tomorrow but already know from reviews it will be garbage. This really angers me, I believed Ruth’s story. Lesson learned, don’t believe anything online!
I ordered what appeared to be nice jewelry on August 29. Said it was delivered September 16, but it wasn\'t. I tried to call the phone number on the website - a nonworking number. I looked up Ruth\'s Gems as a scam, and here I am. I\'ve called my credit card company to get a new card just in case, and reported a fraud. They\'ve filed and report and took the charge off my bill. Makes me mad at myself - and the fact they have my money and my (now cancelled) credit card number.
