Is rockport.com Legit?

Rockport sent me shoes that were 2 sizes bigger than what was on the tag. The return process is terrible plus they will not refund the shipping costs even though this is their mistake. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. The only reason I gave this 1 star is because I cannot give it negative stars.

I just received a pair of Rockport walking shoes.I had been anxious to receive them, as Rockport had always been a shoe that was both comfortable and well-made.The shoes I received were anything but. They were tight. The shoelace holes looked as if they had been punched by a man in India with his pocket knife.They were, as you guessed, made in India. Cheap materials. I had always admired the work that went into Rockports 25 to 30 years ago.Now, I'm not even sure I will be able to wear them. I am so sick and tired of this that I will not bother to return them. I would sooner respect myself and throw them out.

Ordered shoes, and received a "your order has shipped"message a day or so later. Checked with ups and there is no record of shipment ("shipping label printed"). Waited, then called a week later -- still had not shipped -- as was told I couldn't canel the order for 12 days. Now 22 days later I called, and finally got to cancel an order because customer service rep could not explain when order would ship. Undependable, and fradulent emails that say they are doing things they are not.

Placed an order for shoes on May 29, 2024 and 2 weeks later, Rockport has not shipped the shoes. I have contacted customer service and they say it will ship soon, they are experiencing delays. But not actually saying when the order will ship. There is no mention of long delays in shipping on their website. If I knew it would take this long I would have ordered somewhere else. My husband needs these shoes for an event and I don’t know if we’ll receive them, when we’ll receive or if they will fit. I would hate to have to deal with them for a return! I should have read the reviews before ordering. There are tons of negative reviews about Rockport. I thought they were a reputable company, I was wrong. Don’t order from Rockport! This is just an unacceptable way to run a business.

Poor customer service. Paid $22.95 for expedited shipping. Shoes were shipped UPS GROUND. I had the option for UPS ground when placing order for under $10. Wanted shoes expedited so I paid $22.95. Shoes were shipped the cheap ground service after I paid $22.95 for expedited. Rockport refused to make it right. I paid expedited they shipped cheap ground service. Bad business and I feel fraudulent transaction. DO NOT USE ROCKPORT.COM

Ordered two pairs of shoes from the original website of Rockport US in early December 2023. It is now April 2024. No sign of shoes, no sound from customer service after repeated attempts to reach them.Draw your own conclusions.

This store is a disgrace, I wasted my money. They do not provide an ounce of customer assistance. And they also use the company EVRI which does not deliver. I had to pay to look for this shoe in all the buildings around me, I did the missing item investigation work on my own. And when I finally found the shoe I had to return it and pay an absurd price to return it!

Great shoes, terrible customer service at the company website. I paid $25 for next day shipping. Hasn't shipped more than 24 hours after confirmation email.Customer service phone line doesn't answer except for a message to call back during business hours even though my repeated calls were between 10-3 central time on a Friday.Don't buy from the official website, it's unsupported.

Purchased a pair of shoes and they sent the wrong size. Followed the directions for returns/exchanges and found the shoes were not eligible for a return. Tried calling multiple times - no one ever answers. Tried emailing- only get candid responses. Tried contacting through social media - and again only got candid responses “someone from our team will contact you …follow the online return instructions.” 19 days later still nothing helpful.Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Now stuck with a size 9 shoe when I ordered an 11 1/2.

Terrible Customer Service. Ordered men's US10.5 shoes online, unfortunately too small. Tried to exchange for size 11, but the site would not allow returns or exchanges I never saw final sales posted anywhere during the sale, on my order, nor on the site when I looked up the same shoes. I have contacted customer service multiple times but only received one initial response that said to use the aforementioned process and to write back if not able. Still no response.

I've been buying and wearing Rockport shoes for decades. Voluntarily paying extra for superior quality and fit. No more. The last two pair I've owned have LITERALLY fallen apart and all requests for replacements were ignored and/or denied. This company has gone down the tube. The lack of customer service totally shocked me. Terrible customer service and longer quality footwear.

I bought 3 pairs of shoes, was entitled to an exchange, company never returned my emails, their phone has an automated msg, saying they can't take any calls. Horrible customer service. I'm left with shoes that don't fit me. Waste of money. Extremely disappointed at Rockport.

Had wrong size shoes delivered ( ordered 8, they delivered size 6). Have been in communication for 10 days now. Asked to email me free returns label/QR code, so that I can send wrong goods back. This was a mistake on their part and I am not prepared to pay for it from my pocket! Polite generic replies with no resolution as yet! Poor customer service! Avoid!

ONLY REASON I GAVE ONE STAR IS THAY YOU CANT GIVE ZERO! WORST SERVICE EVER !!!My order was placed on December 29th.On their website it was promised to be delivered in 5 business days.After long waiting, I was surprised to find out today that my order was cancelled without any explanation. I didn’t receive any notice either. I didn’t see any refund on my card. No reply from customer service. NEVER AGAIN ROCKPORT !! Wasted money, time and left without my purchase.

I’ve been wearing Rockport’s for half my life the rockports that I recently bought in 2022/2023 are starting to fall apart after the 2nd month of wearing them whatever they’re doing they need to go back to basics because I might not buy another Rockport ever again. Like I said, I’ve been buying Rockport shoes since the early 2000s I’m going to give it one more chance. The quality of the shoe is going downhill big time.

Horrible Customer Service! Shoes are Cheep, not well made, period. They ship out you within 24hrs, good, but to return, it takes over a week, then to get a refund it takes another two weeks. RIDICULOUS! Why would you buy shoes if they're not going to return your money for over two weeks. Just try to talk to customer service and they keep rehashing their policies. But they din't answer your questions!

I walk a solid 3 miles a day in city and woods, I am extremely heavy footed and I put more pressure on one side with how I walk. All I buy is rockport now because no other shoe can take the abuse I give them. I basically got used to the idea that I had to get a new pair about every single month between the bottom wearing down or side and/or front detaching from the sole. I honestly had to stick to cheap shoes because I can't afford decent ones every month and the "expensive" shoes lasted as long as the cheap ones. Now I get a nice pair of Rockport about twice a year saving me money and looking better than when I wore the prior ones. I can't wait for my new pair coming today btw

So very disappointed.I bought a pair of shoes in 2008 in America, they were superb quality and extremely comfortable. They lasted with constant wear until 2022.In 2022 I bought another pair, what a disappointment, they were cheap quality, the upper distorted and whilst listed as waterproof were not. The soles have already, after 9 months worn out.My experience has soured me from the brand which I see has been sold. My shoes were made in China which probably explains the change in quality.

receive a pair of your Dunham shoes that i ordered three weeks ago and i was so happy how they felt on my feet, so lightweight and super comfortable, that i had to order another pair. Arrived today and they are even better, even though they are a different style. I am a forever customer.

I ordered a genuine pair of US7.5w Rockport Sandals through Amazon online, which were the same size as my old tired pair. They were too small. Amazon would take them back and give a postage deducted refund. Not acceptable. Contacted Rockport direct on four occasions Promised the world but NO joy.
