In reviewing the three-tier rise garden, I find it aesthetically pleasing, well-built, and easy to maintain. I have achieved excellent results using their dry nutrients, and I have harvested a substantial amount of vegetables. However, I must highlight the company’s unwavering commitment to its products. When I encountered a unique issue with my garden that they had never encountered before, they promptly provided me with instructions and replacement parts. Their timely and thorough response resolved the problem. The only aspect I would suggest they improve is the inclusion of an “alive agent” to facilitate communication with customers beyond email. Overall, I highly recommend this company.
Initially Loved my unit- We purchased the large unit off of Amazon We planted lettuce and flowers was beautiful then the power cord went out.Should be an easy fix however no one seems to carry the power adapter we called RISE for help so many times as it is under warranty. They told us call office depot, They also cannot find the replacement power adapter to fit the newest large RISE Unit - now we are stuck with a $1500 piece of junk :( they keep telling us its on back-order buyer beware - they should have just replaced the unit but nope................#warrantynotreal
I got the Rise Garden primarily to produce fresh lettuce greens throughout the year. Being able to grow a variety of herbs, vegetables, flowers, and fruits is a plus.After getting over an early learning curve, my Rise Garden is successfully producing fresh lettuce and herbs. I haven't had it long enough to see how the fruiting/flowering vegetables will turn out, e.g. tomatoes, strawberries, broccoli. The system is great if you can get accurate advice from the app recommendations or from your own measurements of pH+EC on how to adjust the nutrients and pH level of your water. Once you figure that out, things feel very easy to manage. But I think I still have more to learn to keep a high productivity indoor garden. The customer service is great. I've engaged with them several times for technical advice on diagnosing issues with garden growth. They also replaced my 4-pack of Sorrel because my pack did not germinate the first time. The variety of seed pods they offer also keeps me excited to try and grow new things. I am currently subscribed to the membership to see if I feel it is value for money, and it so far seems to be. It's easy to manage and tailor and seems to be designed well for my garden needs. If I venture out and try growing with my own seeds, I may find that the membership no longer suits my needs, but for now I think I will stick with it. Very happy I made this investment.
Ordered a month before Christmas due to them having in bold letters that it would arrive well before Christmas. I followed up several times about them not shipping the main unit and got generic "just wait" emails. Note the item wasn't lost in shipping; it was never sent. No real investigation was done till after Christmas at which point I was offered "$25 off a future order" and still didn't have the main unit. Now, I have to lose $150 to return an incomplete and completely non-functioning order over a month later.
My wife purchased the Personal Garden for me for Christmas. The serial number you are supposed to scan to connect your garden to the app says "invalid" when I attempt to do so. I contacted Rise and they said "yes we know this is an issue for some gardens. Just use it without the app because there isn't much difference." The main reason for purchasing is the interface with the app. Horrible customer service. I would not recommend anyone purchasing from Rise.
Ordering product is straightforward and easy on the website. Customer service is always quick to respond and helpful. The garden works phenomenally well and has already given me plenty of fresh herbs, fruits, and lettuce.I suppose my only criticism would be that product from the same order often ships seperately and arrives seperately, but I do understand why that's sometimes necessary. There are also fairly frequent out of stocks on the website. But in general, I am very happy being a Rise customer. My garden brings me a lot of joy.
Customer service is non-existent. I've tried multiple times to ask a question about the pH reader you have in your videos and never even gotten through for an answer. I've tried using your QR code on the bottles of supplement and they don't work, at all, neither bottle. You have a good product, do a good job of selling it, and a really poor job of giving information to your customers.
I've purchased 3 rise gardens and a ton of seed pods within a two week period. Other than the gardens themselves being a bit pricy, I am very pleased with the overall experience. Everything shipped faster than anticipated. Everything works as expected. Some of the documentation has minor grammatical errors which can cause confusion for a newbie gardener like myself but I am thankful that they include documents with tips and guidance. I've personally worked for many start-ups and I am really surprised by the level of detail wether it's user guides, barcodes for easy setup or the graphics which are unique to each set of seeds/pods. So far I really like RG as a brand. From an NPS perspective I would definitely be a promoter (so far)
I wanted to love this company. What they promise is just what I have been looking for. Unfortunately they have taken my money 7 months ago and have failed to deliver the product. Your website is very difficult to use and navigate. I was unable to edit my order on a phone or iPad. When I finally tried with my laptop, it was sheer luck that I was able to figure it out on the third try. There is nothing more frustrating than clicking on the “EDIT”button, and nothing happens.Furthermore, for this and other reasons, I am considering cancelling my membership, but there seems to be no way to do so.
We bought this first to provide light in our combined living room/dining room which has no over head lights with added benefit of some plants. It is better than we anticipated. The app on my phone to order was easy to use. A wide variety of products available. I purchased seedlings of salad, tomato and pepper.Check out was easy process and first class delivery would happen in 2 -3 days. Approx 1/2 of the seed pods I get from riser don’t germinate, I’ve learned to use the rise system with my own seeds. The effort you have to go through to “prove” they didn’t germinate in order to get credited isn’t worth the effort.
They didn’t include the ESSENTIAL pod trays with my ALMOST 2 GRAND order for a triple level planter & almost $500 in plants and now refuse to send them. Don’t do business with them they don’t care about their customers once they get your money
I love my RiseGarden and their app was one of the reasons for my purchase, not to mention the sleek design of the Triple Family Garden. Having the app takes care of everything from when to clean the system and / or add nutrients. As well, there helpful videos should you not understand something are an added bonus and the customer support is outstanding!
I've purchased two full-sized gardens from Rise (one in early 2020 and the second later in the year), as well as various supplies and products. Whenever I've had an issue with anything, be it a garden or order, they've been very communicative and helpful. Rise genuinely cares about their products and company, and I appreciate it!

The Negative: I think that company could do a much better job at describing the whole process from receiving the package to planting and growing.
