ridenow.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives ridenow.com a low trust score on the platform: 18.2. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: New. Suspicious. Dubious.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 18.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to ridenow.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the New. Suspicious. Dubious. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning ridenow.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between ridenow.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of ridenow.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of ridenow.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. ridenow.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether ridenow.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether ridenow.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, ridenow.com.

The recording on the phone says they are open Tues - Fri 9am to 6pm. They are listed on Maps as being open 9am - 6pm. When i talked to them on the phone about bringing my bike in for new tires the GM told me 9am - 6pm. When i get there the next morning at 9:15am they're closed. One lone wolf tells me 10am. They just permanently lost a future customer. Worse yet, from all appearances on Google searches, the whole corporation is a scam. I found multiple phone numbers listed as their corporate hq. Two were disconnected, one was a totally different company. Needless to say, NO customer service or a way to lodge a complaint. Best bet, steer away from RIDENOW POWERSPORTS. Far away.
UPDATE: After I left this review i got a call from them and they agteed to remove most fo the fees. I don't know if it was related to the review or just me saying no to them? So I revised this to a 3 star based on the fact that you can negotiate away the nosie.Saw an ad for a bike and called in. I got a recording so i clicked on the ad in the website and got a callback the next morning. The guy confirmed they had the bike. He wanted to value my trade so i sent him all the info. No response for several hours so i tried calling back and no one was ever available to speak. When they did finally call me back the price was somehow over $2000 more. i asked to explain why and he rattled off crazy stuff like an 1100 bike checkout fee, a $500 battery warranty fee and over 500 documentation fees. I told him i live out of state and dont want his battery warranty and thats when he told me the fees are non negotiable. So be aware they will charge you $2000 in bogus junk fees that you cant avoid. I am going elsewhere and never going back.
The ad was incorrect that I responded to. Wrong UTV, year, price, etc. Sold me the incorrect unit. No apologies, no attempt to make things right. Then they wrote the contract wrong and sent it to the bank. Incorrect figures!!!!! Had to re-do contract after bank had set payment. This has been an absolute disaster and the customer experience has been the worst I have ever experienced. Will NOT do business here again.
If you want to get the worse service you can find at the highest prices!!!!! This is your service department. They take no responsibility for time, lack of communications, lack of requesting proper information for warranty, price gouge & have no clue how to treat customers. I have had unfortunately chosen to go here too many time and every single time I’m over charged, they under deliver, and the unit is in their possession for months!!!!Ride now McKinney needs to find a new business plan and figure it out.If zero starts was an option I would give them that !!!Follow up.Of course the response from you was also full of more lies then unit was dropped 3 weeks prior to Halloween October 15th not November 6th.My response to your service and timely manner of work is solely based on what I’m told by you or your service team and I was told it would be handled in a week or two.As for lack of communication in my part again that’s on you cause you all keep calling the wrong person to get answers and not me as I have instructed on several of my visits there. As for people like me it’s great we have an open forum to ensure that others don’t come to your business and end up with the same treatment. We have not only had one machine there we have brought 3-4 machines here and every single time it’s a wait well past what was told and prices way higher than any in the area. The machine is practically new and has 3 year warranty your saying it had those issues but I bet you really don’t know. As for picture prove me wrong and post them. I bet you don’t.I’ll continue to be sure no one I know visits this store again. You completely do a disservice to your customers.
I have been buying motorcycles my entire life. I never had an issue. I give Ridenow Chandler a solid D grade, D defined as "disingenuous, dishonest, and duplicitous". The way they manage contracts and try to insert hidden cost and fees -without prior disclosure - into the finance agreement is deplorable (Another D). Be warned. Even their "cash-out-the-door" process is suspect. If this was the last place on the planet to buy a motorcycle or UTV, I would never go there. Just don't!!!
Well, I bought my Harley at the Sturgis rally. The sales went fine, until I never received the title work. Two things happened first I was given an I owe you slip for two Tail lights that they said they would order and send out to me. Still waiting after 4 months Bought it in august it is now November. The title work was sent to Austin processing center(I think) Pam mailed it to Indiana, well things were missing so Indiana sent it back to Sturgis. The sales person there did nothing with the paper work if it wasn't for Pam and her work ethics I would still have no title work. Pam is the best customer service person I ever delt with. She and I stayed on top of this issue until we found the root cause. Some sales person at Sturgis just didn't do their job.
Took my 04 R1 in to get two new tires good deal but when I got it back mechanic prints all over the wheel and bike and scratches on my painted Wheels damn... I took pictures but not sure how to post them on this site I think they went to the other side so the service manager could see them but no reply back yet 😕
When I bought my bike I told them I planned to register the it in Oklahoma where I live but they sent the title to Arizona DMV, so now I'm almost 7 months into having the bike and still can't register it. I also had to have them send me a paper plate to print because they didn't put one on the bike either. Don't do business with these scam artists and definitely don't allow their finance companies to do your financing. Horrible experience!
As of 8/26/2024, The company has not provided a title, regestration, or plates for a motorcycle purchased on 3/19/24 for $21,000. Under Texas law, specifically the Texas Transportation Code, Section 501.0234, a dealer is required to process the title paperwork and submit the application for title to the county tax assessor-collector's office within 30 days of the date of sale. Temporary tags have expired and the vehicle is currently unable to legally operate on public roads. When attempting to contact, they either hang up or make up excuses to call you back which they never do.
I purchased a Polaris 450 from this company. A few months later went in to speak to the service manager. The left side panel will not stay in place. she was rude, uncooperative, and denied this was a problem. I just wanted to know if there was a procedure that would prevent this. Her statement " you cannot talk with my mechanics " She was confrontational, and belligerent . I said no problem I won't come back. How a company can treat customer like this, for no reason simply has no rational. This company needs to go out of business. they certainly have lost mine. jack
77 days after purchase I am still unable to ride my motorcycle because they never provided the title paper to register it in my name. The bike was delivered to me pretty filthy, but I let it slide because I was excited to go ride. It takes on average 3 to 4 days to get a response just to be told nothing. I will never purchase anything from this dealer network again. Ridenow of Kansas City-Olathe
So their employee Claire Paxton likes to sleep with the clients FYI. She's dating a married man who's expecting his 7th child with another woman and she knew this for almost a year but still hit on him every time he came in, and is trying to marry him. Dude's name is Irish Hawkins. You should really keep an eye on your employees and the trash you hire, very unprofessional of her and she's probably doing this with other clients you have walking into your establishment.
Bought 2023 Kawasaki Mule SX from Concord,NC facility in April. To date unit has been in shop for 2 months. One bright spot has been Dennis the service manager. He has tried his best to work with the manufacturer to get warranty issues fixed. The other management however a different story. No communication at all. Not one I’m sorry for your trouble. RIDENOW has one goal, to separate you from your money. This disabled Navy Vet intends to tell everyone he knows two things.1. NEVER BUY FROM RIDENOW CONCORD,NC2. NEVER BUY A KAWASAKI PRODUCT.JTM
If I could rate this place a zero I would. Elliot Winter is an employee at this "company" he is shady business wise and I think he is pocketing cash difference while offering "Deals" If you google him you'll find out the garbage they employ! Beware its disgusting!Avoid!
RideNow Powersports was very helpful with my warranty work. Isaac contacted SkiDoo and jumped through a bunch of hoops to help me get factory warranty work completed on my snowmobile. He was quick, efficient and friendly and a great communicator. He called several times to keep me updated on the progress of parts. He scheduled an appointment and it was ready the next day. Rafael, was also very helpful. Thank you RideNow Powersports! Your service was greatly appreciated. Paul Carter.
DO NOT GET SCAMMED WITH WESTERN SERVICE PRIORITY MAINTENANCE PLAN which they will try to push on you at Ridenow! Very Pushy, nervous environment … do not recommend!
So, I took my 2024 Shadow Aero ABS in for first service. When I got the bike back there was an unusual from the front. A kind of screeching ticking noise. I call and told them about it, specifically saying it didn't sound like the engine because the noise didn't increase nor decrease with revs, only when moving. They checked the bike and told me it was valve lash and is normal, even though they were told the noise was only present when moving. I got the bike back, and yes, same noise. They charged me $211.86 for not fixing the bike. Yes, I know I should have checked it myself, but they`d just done a service and they should check it themselves. Soo, I decided to check it myself, and lo and behold, the pinch bolts for the front axle were loose!! Removing the axle showed it had become scored from riding loose. So now I have to replace the axle, and probably the bearing, all because of the incompetence of their tech. Will I return to their place of business? Probably. You cant blame the whole business for the incompetence of one tech. My wife's Metropolitan is coming due for first service, and I`ll give them another shot. Fingers crossed11 read less
My experience at this Dealer was totally unacceptable. Not only did they not do what I asked, they lied to me while charging $211 for nothing! I asked them to check the USB outlet and read the ECU for an error. The outlet did not function, and the bike had shut off for no reason while riding. They did not read the ECU and they uninstalled the USB outlet claiming that it was full of water!!!! Bike: 2023 KTM 790 Duke under warranty.
Here in Arizona they charge $599 doc fee. A great secretary making $30/hr needs to work 20 hours to do paperwork that we have all done at the DMV in 30minutes? 😂 they also charge $500 for dealer prep on a new bike - this is usually a 30min- 1 hour inspection and screwing undone parts and adding liquids. That’s more than surgeons make. Never never buy from these fools.
I want to give a special shout-out to Nate and Mikel at RideNow Motorsports for their professionalism and efficiency in helping me purchase my new CF MOTO side-by-side.I've been a loyal customer for years and have built an excellent relationship with the entire sales and service team. The sales staff has always been friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The service team, from the front desk to the technicians, consistently delivers outstanding service. We are extremely happy and satisfied customers of RideNow Motorsports!

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

It automatically blocks 100x more harmful websites than competitors and 10x more malicious downloads than any other security tool. It was tested and vetted by our Scam Detector team.

Guardio has over a million users, and while it is already affordable for the benefits it provides (just a few dollars a month), it covers up to 5 family members. How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
