Is rhino-billiards.com Legit?

I'll be honest I love this company they make a great product and I have purchased two of their carbon fiber shafts and actively play with both.But both times they have only allowed me to ship using the US Postal Service and both times the delivery times took over nine days. NINE DAYS to go from San Antonio to Kansas City, which is insane.Until they offer their customers the ability to choose UPS or FedEx instead of the broken and unfixable USPS I can no longer recommend their products nor will I purchase any more.Please Rhino stop using the broken US postal service!

I've purchased two Rhino shafts, a 5/16 x 18 (12.2) for a Valhalla glossy black wrapless cue and a Radial 12.4 for a wrapless Jacoby. Both fit at the joint like they were custom made. As far as I can tell, as an intermediate player who owns carbon shafts that cost 2x or more (Rogue, Black. Becue, Cuetec, custom), the Rhinos are as good as their expensive brethren. However, I don't play with them much as neither of those cues is one of my main players and wrapless isn't my favorite grip. At the moment I'm enamored of a vintage Schon with Irish Linen and I decided to put a Cuetec Synergy on it. I'd not tried Cuetec and I just felt a premium cue deserved a premium shaft. My other main cue currently (before the Schon arrived) is a 16 point Jacoby with Spanish leather grip and a Jacoby Black 12.3 shaft. I also have a custom RJH cue with a Becue PrimeM 12.5 shaft and an imitation EE leather grip. So for better information I will write about my friend who also owns an RJH Custom Cue and is a far better player than myself. We play straight pool to 100 weekly and he typically beats me by 100–60. Last week I got to 75. Anyway, he finally decided that he wanted to try a carbon fiber shaft. And he purchased a 3/8 x 10 Rhino. And he loves it. He says his draw has improved. He even likes the tip. I can't even get him to try my Cuetec. The guy is completely happy with his Rhino. So there you have it: so-so player with lots of expensive shafts can't really tell difference and strong player with a $2000 custom cue puts a Rhino on it and thinks it's improving his game (and he is getting better). Perhaps he'd feel the same about any Carbon Fiber shaft (this was his first) but nevertheless. he only spent $200 to find out. My first carbon were Revo, Becue, etc all at $400 to $500. I believe there's still an anti Rhino bias among some premier players and reviewers, but I've not seen them actually check out Rhino shafts. Maybe they're afraid the Rhino will be just as good as the expensive stuff?

What a horrible experience with Rhino Billiards. I placed an order on 09/08/2024 knowing that there is a potential to wait 20 days (roughly) if the order is shipped from Vietnam. I got tracking information on 09/09/2024 saying it has been shipped from CA and I should see it in 09/12/2024. I was over ecstatic thinking RB has went above and beyond on the order. But, as you can tell from the 2 star rating, something went astray. Keep in mind moving forward, I work for a company that ships nationally and internationally and we use UPS/FedEx and USPS daily.When the order was delayed 2-3 days after the projected delivery date, I reached out to RB asking for an update on my order. I was unlucky enough to get Dustin. Someone who does not want to help, and needs some training as a customer service rep. He tells me to be patient and wait another 2-3 days while USPS updates. First of all, you don't tell customers to be patient after they have been patient with the order. I understand that orders can be delayed, I also know that orders can be lost. My initial email was basically a "look at this shipment and see if it is lost". He then came back to me and said he wanted to make sure USPS has the goods and that its not just a label that was made up while the product is being staged to ship. I would understand that, but USPS literally scanned the package and said they received the order in there CA USPS location. USPS HAS THE PACKAGE. It is now 09/22/24 and nothing has been done. I followed up the next day and don't hear anything from Dustin I have to follow up with him two more times. Once he responds two days later, he tells me they have not received any confirmation from USPS that they actually have the package. 11 days have gone by and I have yet to get any help on this package (USPS takes 3-4 days to ship in the US). He then continues to go on and say give them a few more days to sort things out with the carrier before they fix the situation. I told Dustin to open an investigation, telling him how to do his job, and gave a deadline on when I needed the product. Yeah, that is a little Karenish, but after the lack of help on the shipment I was fed up with his lack luster responses. Dustin then proceeds to tell me that as of 09/26/2024 they will start a refund process. If nothing happens in 14 DAYS after that date, I will get a full refund. How unacceptable of an answer after no help from RB CS. I then told Dustin to refund my order and that I don't want to do business with RB. He responded with there policy doesn't allow that (which I would have understood if he started with that) and said that the next shipment, if this one is lost, would be expedited out at no additional cost. I stopped responding at this point. I got a notification that the shaft finally made it to Charlotte, NC on 09/30/2024. At this point, I know Dustin wont do anything and it would be a waste of my time to talk to him. I finally received my product on 10/07/2024.....but wait, its not over.My initial order was a break shaft and glove. I got a notification on my lunch break that my pool shaft has been delivered to my work. I was happy that everything was coming to an end with this order. When I go back to pick it up in my warehouse, I only see one shaft box and nothing else. I was already expecting to be disappointed, but thought to myself, it should be in the shaft box. How could someone checking off an order look at the ticket and see two items, but only send one....this would not be my luck, would it? Yes....yes it was. I cut the box open to find just my break shaft in its box. No glove. Now, I am pissed. I take pictures of the box I received and the RB shaft box to send back to Dustin (Dustin didn't even ask for the photos, but I know this is what I would ask for if something like this happened). My email to Dustin was simple and to be honest not to angry at him, because I know he didn't pack and ship this package. Here is what I said, "I need a refund on the glove. It was never sent and I do not wish to do business with Rhino anymore. The only item that was shipped with break shaft, which was finally received today. The box that this came in was pre sealed for the carbon fiber shaft only, no additional packages." Short, sweet and to the point. This man has the audacity to draw a circle around the shaft box and say they need to see every angle of the box to make sure the glove was not on there and "Hopes to see your reply soon". When I tell you, I about punched my phone in anger, Im not lying. I closed out of my email and then got a follow up email an hour later saying to ignore his previous email and that they would like to resend the glove or refund me. I am not going through this again so I requested a refund.Long story short, the shafts are great (reason for 2 stars) and I love playing with them. I would never order anything again from this company due to trash CSR's but if you get one as a gift, good for you.

I have another carbon Fiber shaft that I love playing pool with. I purchased one of Rhinos retro cues and I absolutely love it it plays just as well as my expensive shaft. I like the rap and the feel when shooting, my game has gotten better since using the Rhino Cue.

I play in high level tournaments and with the WPBA. I have tried alot of carbon fiber shafts on the market, even ones by custom cue makers and Rhino is my favorite! Great feel on contact, durability, affordability, they perform to the top of my expectations. Thank you to Rhino Billiards for a great product!

Great product so far. Purchased PSJ CF shaft for my JPechauer and CF shaft for my Jacoby cues. Nice shafts, great customer support; Celine is responsive and knowledgeable as well as helpful in providing answers to my queries and concerns.Shipping was fast and accurate. Shafts hit well and I like the sound on contact. Prices are excellent so I am giving this company my support at this time. Keep up the good work Rhino and thank you.

Before purchasing my 5/16-18 Rhino CF shaft, I conversed with Celine and other representatives. They always had an answer and replied in a timely fashion. After researching other CF shafts at 2 to 3 times the cost, I decided to give Rhino a try. To this point, I'm very happy with my decision. It hits well, with a nice sound, very low deflection. The F1 Crystal medium tip works well also. So far, very satisfied.

Shipped on 2/16 and still have not received. It sat in San Antonio, TX and Memphis, TN for days. Only update is that it is still in transit to next facility which has been the same for days. Delivery date was SUPPOSED to be 2/21.

Their products speak for themselves as they are currently gobbling up the market - what a novel idea - make a low deflection graphite cue as accurately as the best on the market but sell them at 1/4 the price.. but I'm reviewing not only for the quality of their product but for their customer service. At this price point, targeting this part part of the market, and being based abroad.. I frankly would expect their customer service to be abysmal. When I made a mistake with my order I was prepared to just eat the loss as "my bad" or the cost of doing business with a never company selling affordable stuff.. however to my amazement they were responsive and gracious, and earned a lifetime customer. I would not trade my Rhino for a Meucci or Flowers (unless I could sell them, replace my Rhino, and then pocket the ridiculous difference.)

My new Rhino Retro cue came in a very timely manner. It looks great...went with a wrap, no pointing. I was leary that, at this price point, I may not be spending enough to get a nice cue. However, after a bit of play, I think this cue is good enough for me at my current level. It looks great and feels very good. As I said, at this price point, I believe it is a nice cue for the $$.

The Rhino Retro cue I recently received is more than I expected. The build quality, feel, and hit are equal to a much more expensive cue!

Great communication and offered to make a custom shaft for my Leonard Bludworth cue. Very unique joint no one else offered to make. 3/8x11.5. Tried Predator and a few others but they.only offer what's on there list and won't customize. Came today fits perfectly. So all you Bludworth shooters out there. You can get a carbon shaft at Rhino Cues. Thanks Celine for guiding me through the custom order process.

Awesome and great playing cues. Best cue out there for the price. I am very impressed by the look of the cues and the way they play. My other high end cues have been in my pool bag ever since I bought my Rhino. I was in the middle of a tournament (on the winner side) and someone came up and asked what cue I was shooting with. I told him a Rhino. He was quite impressed how I was playing with it, even though he commented he only loves his brand of cue. I took him out of the tournament the very next round. I would like to think after that he went home and looked these cues up. If you want to elevate your game and not break the bank, Rhino is the way to go.

The Rhino shaft hits great. I think the price to performance ratio is unbeatable. Rhino holds its own when comparing to more expensive name brands. Also, amazing customer service! I asked several questions before buying and they always responded quickly.

Plays as well as any other CF shaft -@ 1/3 the price. Highly recommended. Needs new tip

i ordered s CF Shaft from Rhino 3 days ago. its the 3/8x10 and 30 in long. already recieved an email that they have recieved my order and that its getting ready to be shipped from San Antonio, TX. i hope it gets to me fast in CANADA so i can try it out as i have a tournament end of May. will let you know how it goes.

I have purchased a 30” 3/8-10 shaft and I must say, not disappointed.I might be getting a tip pad, with my other shafts.Overall the shaft plays great. It hasn’t fully broke in, at least not to the degree of my cutec. I have owned that shaft for about 2 yrs or so.One thing this company doesn’t offer a choice of tip. (Left hand cue glove can make up for this)You get a 8 layered soft-med hardness tip w/ pad. In general plays like a kamui soft.The shaft fits perfect on my McDermott (figures) They offer a large selection of pins and shaft lengths. On my custom it has maybe a mm of overhang.Both roll straight separate.Overall I purchased for a second shaft, it hits solid and not a bad purchase for 200$.It’s does ship from overseas, so be ready for about a 2 week delivery.
