Is retro-stage.com Legit?

The dress is a nice color. However it was too big and I am waiting for an exchange for a smaller size. Yumi is assisting ne in the exchange. I'll review again once I receive the replacement.

Received an order and was shocked by the poor quality of their clothing, the fabric is embarrassing. Returns policy if you call it that, is a joke. Don’t waste your money on this company.

I bought a two dresses, but they don’t fit. I’m trying to do a return but it is nearly impossible. So unless you know it’s gonna fit, I do not recommend buying from this company.It also took three weeks to ship to me.

Yomi in customer service has been very communicative and helpful during my return process for a couple of bathing suits that did not fit me. I also received a dress from Retro Stage that fits perfectly and has a nice feeling material.

I've ordered from Retro Stage a few times, and some of my favourite dresses and swimsuits have come from them. Really lovely high quality and fit great. Unfortunately, other times, the quality has not been good, and sizing has been whack. The Returns policy is not great; to return items was going to cost me almost $30 from where I live, which cancelled out 50% of the returns value. That said, the customer service team (Yomi) explained to me the returns options (they also offered a partial (too low) cash refund to just keep the items. Ultimately I landed on receiving two free items instead of doing the return. I found their Customer Service email address to be quick and responsive.I know with many of these companies, returns go into landfill. At least this way, I'll pass on the items that don't fit me to my local charity shop / goodwill and hopefully someone will get use out of them.Overall, I think Retro Stage is worth the gamble. Some of their designs are just gorgeous and you won't find anywhere else. They could do a better job on quality control and consistent sizing, and putting a genuine returns process in place. But I will almost certainly order from them again.

Order not delivered, no tracking sent, doesn't even appear to be fulfilled who knows cannot get any response from 3 emails and two phone calls to an 800 number that just states to leave a message with no identification of the company you're calling. This is the worst experience I've ever had ordering online, lesson learned DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY unless you want your money stolen. I'm going to attempt to contact PayPal to hopefully get a refund. What a joke.

This is my first time ordering from RETRO STAGE. The dress I ordered is adorable, I just got the wrong size but don’t worry! Yomi has given me the BEST customer service!! So kind, so helpful. Wow! I have tried three orders with Retro Stage. Two in June of 2022 and one in July 2024. The sizing of dresses based on both the size guide provided by the website and the size when listed on the item page (Size CN/US) cannot be trusted. The sizing provided is unreliable, inconsistent, and often incorrect.Dress quality is inconsistent. Some dresses are well tailored and well put together. Other dresses are poorly constructed and are faulty/damaged upon receipt.Customer service is difficult to work with. Every effort is made to ensure that customers will not be refunded in accordance with the policies outlined on the website.Would I recommend Retro Stage? No. I advise others against placing orders with Retro Stage due to how difficult the company is to work with.

none of the clothing fit - they're way off with measurements. The material was cheap and most the zippers didn't work. Getting a return and refund was a nightmare and they didn't even credit me a 1/3 of what I was owed

Ordered a dress and made sure the measurements would fit. Dress arrived quickly and fit well but couldnt raise my arms up. I asked customer service if I could return it and instead Yomi helped us get a better deal of sending us a size up for less and being able to keep to current one which fits my relative. They were quick to respond and very helpful in fixing the issue.

Their clothes are absolute crap and don't fit. You can't return them because there is literally no one to talk to. It also takes weeks to receive your item and their tracking is not existent.Also what royally pissed me off is they charged me an extra $5.00 international fee on top of my order, days after the purchase. Don't buy anything from this place it's crap.

The company, Retro Stage, was very easy to work with and they were very willing to exchange my dress that I received from them to another size. The customer service person, Yomi, was very polite and has answered all of my questions within one business day of sending an email. Thank you!

Fast poor quality fashion crap. Thin material. Prints and details not as bright or designed the way they appear in website photos. The sewing must've been done by a child or first time sewer - seams not even, bow details off center, pockets wonky, the fit isn't just lacking truth to size, it's weirdly mismatched in a way that it'll fit in the waist but not the crotch (baggy) and leg seams towards front on one leg and towards back on other leg in a twisted fashion.Don't get me started on their customer service and return policy. Both are non existent. You're screwed and have been scammed.This is basically a wish version of Shein clothing with a heftier price tag.A crap shoot with a crappier return policy.

Super flattering dresses! I never buy dresses because of my apple shape but because of the affordability, I decided to give it a go. I’m a dress girl now! I’ve never felt so feminine but casual enough for a Tuesday at the supermarket. These are timeless silhouettes that flatter and fit any shape and any budget! 🍎 Customer Service was very personable…rare occurrence these days. Thanks Yomi!

I ordered the Pink 1950s Halter Mesh Sequined dress from Retro Stage to wear to my birthday party, and received the order promptly. Unfortunately, I had miscalculated the sizing, and ordered the dress in a size that did not fit. After reaching out to their customer service email, I had the pleasure of interacting with Luna, who provided me with several options in order to correct my order, and receive the dress in time for my birthday party. Truly excited to wear this pretty dress on such an exciting day!

I really enjoy 2/3 of my outfits. One of my outfits is the incorrect size, and I am in the middle of trying to get it exchanged.

I have purchased several pieces from Retro Stage and love the quality and style of the clothing. Recently, I purchased an outfit and the size I ordered was too large. Unfortunately, because it was form fitting, I had to exchange it. Yomi quickly responded to my email, confirmed the details and made the situation right by sending a replacement immediately. I'm so excited to wear it!

I adore wearing classic fashion from the 1930s and 40s, especially beautiful tea dresses from Retro Stage which have an air of beauty and grace, sinuous femininity and timeless elegance. I love that Retro Stage recreate vintage fashion so we can enjoy the quality and style of these bygone eras today.

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Customer service is actual trash. Clothing is trash. Shipping is trash. Return policy is trash and they will scam you. Worst money I have ever spent. This company is nothing more than a scam

I ordered from the website thinking I would get good quality clothing items. It took weeks for my order arrived and when they did, the sizes were wrong. I tried emailing the company so I could return the items but I never heard back from them. I felt like I had been scammed, and in a way I was.
