restowipe.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives restowipe.com a fairly low score on the platform: 21.9. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Suspicious. Unsafe. Doubtful.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 21.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to restowipe.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Suspicious. Unsafe. Doubtful. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning restowipe.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between restowipe.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of restowipe.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of restowipe.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. restowipe.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether restowipe.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether restowipe.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, restowipe.com.

Online Reviews of restowipe.com

  • Score: 1.6
Wow, I just read all the negative reviews and was surprised. I purchased these online several years ago and just recently finally used them. I followed the directions perfectly, rubbed the saturated cloth on the first headlight for 5 whole minutes, and I was really surprised how much it cleared them up and took the yellow away. Moved over to the second headlight and did the same. Maybe I used up most of the cleaner on the first headlight, but after rubbing for more than 5 minutes, I couldn't quite get the second one as clear as the first, however it was much improved. I did this 3-4 weeks ago, so I don't know if the effects of this cleaner will last or not. But as far as a can tell, so far it seems to have done a good job.
Reviews do work!!!!! Thanks For The Insight I Have Been There And Have Learned To Check Reviews Same Situation In A Wind Mill Order!!!!Frustrating Got to END This Somewhere!!!!! Almost Got Me Again Thanks For Your Reviews!!!!!!
Not even 1star. Total garbage and not worth the money, plus they add crap to the bill with no way to cancel. They are scammers using a bullshit product which does not work.
Not even half of a star!!!!Scammers, I was charged the $44.10 buy one get one free deal and was charged the expedited delivery fee. I had emailed them to reimburse me for the delivery fee as I hadn’t asked for expedited delivery.I received an email in return apologising for the error and the promise of the money going back into my account within 24-48 hours. It didn’t happen. That was a month ago.The products I ordered have not arrived. Surprise surprise! I wish I’d checked here first.
Having placed my order 10 days ago, I've heard nothing. No update whatsoever. Now reading all these negative reviews I'm not hopeful of receiving anything! How do people like these continue to get away with constant advertising & ripping off more of us. Don't the advertising platforms have a responsibility to monitorthese reviews & refuse further adverts.Criminal !!
Total scam - After purchase i had 2 x International transactions (total $226) come out of my account the same day their international transcation came out $44.10). These transactions came from New York and i live in Australia. I had to cancel my card immediately. They are either selling your details to someone else or they are using your details.
Wish I had read these reviews BEFORE I ordered the "Buy 1 pack of RestoWipes, get 1 free" (the 50% discount offer). I received an order confirmation on the same date but the order now included a NanoSparkle Cloth and Expedited Processing neither of which I ordered. Shipping was AU$5.15. So suddenly my costs went from an expected AU$44.10 to AU$87.04. To add insult to injury, two of the credit card charges attracted international transaction charges. There was no hint that I was dealing with some US scammers. The fact one charge did not attract an international charge implies that there is an Australian partner in this charade.
Product not at all as advertised. Promises to restore yellowed headlight covers in five minutes of rubbing with buffing cloth. After 30 minutes, no change in the color or clarity of the headlight. Product received in 8 days but not any better than just washing with soap. Also, very important, package does not show what chemical is being used but does say toxic if swallowed so if a child chewed on the cloth and go sick no way to let poison control know what it is. I suspect it is just dishwashing detergent.
Not even worth 1 star . They are scammers. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. The restowipes are rubbish & if you do decide to order then be aware that if you accept one of their free gifts then they charge £8.10 extra postage & then put it in the same package at no extra cost to them. If you complain then you will just get fobbed off with standard replies I just wish I had checked on Trust Pilot before ordering, but because they came up as a link from the RAC web site then I trusted it.
I cannot even give this a one star, have just been in touch with my bank as they have taken £11.05 for postage when the original is £2.95,all because they said I could have a FREE GIFT, but then once charged my card they added postage for the free gift which I have since found comes from America. The fraud dept of my bank have said when the item comes if it comes, then to get in touch with bank and if it is not as stated that the goods are as not described I should get my money back, but I have to wait 15 days for it to arrive or not. BIG SCAMMERS NEED STOPPING, HOODWINKING US, who are the reviewers that are saying how brilliant the product is, they must be scammers too. I am one angry person as I have fallen in the trap when I never normally do.
Waited for a month for my order and package was not accepted by Irish customs. I have requested a refund but have now been told that this will not be processed until the order is returned to the US!Restowipe, as sender, were unable to deliver my order and now, even though I have no influence over the return of this order, I have to wait another month before my refund is even processed.Avoid, this is either a scam or a completely useless enterprise.
$100 out of pocket not happy at all STEER CLEAR SCAM Bought over 2 mths ago still waiting on itemEmailed a number of times asking be to wait a few more day, emailed a week later told to wait another week, emailed a weekend later to be told my item was lost in transitI asked for a refund, was told they will resend item I instructed them not to as I have waited long enough and just want a refundThe next email I got from them was to return the item once they get it they will refund, I asked how can I return if I never received the item and was told that’s my problem to deal with
The company opened a restowipe account for me even though I did not request it. They are now charging me 20.77 a month for this account. I called and complained and they agreed to close the account, but they did not close it. It's two months later and they are still charging me 20.77 a month for an account I never wanted in the first place. Watch out for Restowipe, they are scammers and fraudulent.
It's ridiculous I ordered and paid for sine 29th April in Ireland since 8th May and still waiting a month later..sick calling ups and emailing ye to no help....tracking no is 802200612090162584
********TOTAL RUBBISH,BASURA, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY !! YOU WOULD BE BETTER WITH VERY FINE SAND PAPER AND WASH UP LIQUID..JUST A RIP OFF ,THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN CONNING PEOPLE for YEARS ...AND HAS MADE A LOT OF MONEY..ITS LEGALISED ROBBERY
Very bad customer service.I have never received my order They dont care. It says delivered to my area but no photo of where it was left. All know is I have not received and support no longer response no my emails
Just saw these advertised, so googled the reviews for them, so glad I did, saved myself some cash, thanks for the reviews and sympathies for you all, just remember to Google anything you may be interested in buying, that way you'll save yourself a lot of hassle and money!
Ordered credit card rfid protection cards from Walletshield, did not order anything from Restowipe but immediately after Walletshield charge appeared on my credit card, another charge appeared from Restowipe. Either these two are running a fraud together or Restowipe somehow accesses customer information from Walletshield.
Ordered, payed for but never recieved - not even an email to confirm the purchase! Definately a SCAM!
good product and a fair delivery time as it came from USA

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

After testing several fraud prevention products online, we could certainly say the winner is a browser extension called Guardio. It automatically blocks 100x more harmful websites than competitors and 10x more malicious downloads than any other security tool. It was tested and vetted by our Scam Detector team.

Guardio has over a million users, and while it is already affordable for the benefits it provides (just a few dollars a month), it covers up to 5 family members. How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
  3. Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Personally, shipping was fast and the product worked wonderfully! Now if they stay looking like that.....time will tell.

if they don't stay like that Walmart Auto shop does head light restores for 25.00 for both headlights. We sand with 2 types of sand paper buff and add a clear coat to them. takes about a hour for us to do.. I do them all the time and my customers are very happy.

  2. Darrell F Moore

resto wipe headlight cleaner is complete garbage. The product done nothing to clean not even a small amount of haze off the headlights. I tried the product on 2 different vehicles to no avail. I should have seen the red flag when check out time came and they got my debit card information for a charge of $29.00 then to finalize check they fixed it so you could not finish the transaction unless you spent another $14.95 for another package. I called they're customer service and they charged me the original $29.00. I informed the rep that this sales tactic made it look like the product wasn't good if you have to get first time consumers to buy so much at once. I believe they put together a bunch of fake reviews to make they're totally fake product look good. We need to file a class action law suit against this company. America don't allow yourself to be sucked in buy this fake product. WD40 will clear them temporarily much better at a much lower price. From a scale of 1 thru 10, I give them a 0 double minus.

  3. John

I bought some. It arrived quickly and worked great on my 1999 car. I was surprised.

  4. Sue

This is a complete scam. I ordered some for my husband, never received a tracking number, nor have I ever received my order. I contacted one of the people listed as a 'happy reviewer' and she wrote back to tell me it was a scam, that she never even heard of the product, let alone ever used it or ordered it. Report to everyone you can think of and notify. They should be ashamed, but are instead sitting back laughing.

    Scam. Does NOT work!
