We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this very high score? We came up with the 100 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to scam-detector.com's industry. The algorithm detected no high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Safe. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we label this website as secure and trustworthy. We explain this in more detail below.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning scam-detector.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between scam-detector.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of scam-detector.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of scam-detector.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. scam-detector.com is a secure website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether scam-detector.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether scam-detector.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a
fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

How To Protect Your Online Browsing From Installing Malware
We have two more powerful fraud prevention tools that you should know about. We've been asked over and over again about the most effective ways to stay safe online. After testing several fraud prevention products online, we could certainly say the winner is a browser extension called Guardio. It automatically blocks 100x more harmful websites than competitors and 10x more malicious downloads than any other security tool. It was tested and vetted by our Scam Detector team.
Guardio has over a million users, and while it is already affordable for the benefits it provides (just a few dollars a month), it covers up to 5 family members. For Scam Detector readers exclusively, Guardio offers a 20% discount this week. You can protect your online browsing from installing malware forever by clicking the button below:
How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices
The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:
- They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
- They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
- Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
- Check this: They hide your online searches, which means you will get only organic search results without tracking and follow-up ads. For example, when you search for a flight, and the next time you look at the same search, the prices are higher. With Surfshark, this doesn't happen.
For the Black Friday promotion, Surfshark offers 86% off + up to 5 months free to Scam Detector readers. You can get the deal only this week HERE or by clicking the button below.

Sara that's unfortunate to hear about your troubles. I'm curious why this is a review for scam-detector . Com? You were scammed from this site here?? Please tell how. Thanks
I'm a little suspicious about this scam detector website. There's ads everywhere with sketchy click bait. Sara here says she got scammed on here or that's what I gather from translation. Waiting to hear back from her....
Can't be trusted. Their AI miscategorizes companies, and then marks down their trust ratings based on their miscategorizations. They are really leaving themselves open to lawsuits.
I'm a little suspicious of this scam detector website. It can be helpful somewhat but even the ads on here are sketchy. And Sara here says she got scammed by someone on here. At least that's what I gather from translation. Waiting to hear back from her....

You\'ve got it wrong David. It\'s far from being a scam. He\'s given the Validator away for free for anyone to use. The ads hopefully pay the bills and then some. Scammers don\'t have numbers like these. scam-detector.com DA54 PA51 TB4K QB3K PQ71% MT5 SS1% OS65% AGE13Y, 171D
I have only positive experience of Scam-Detectors work. I am grateful because I have checked many programs that I suspected was scam. Thanks to Scam-Detector I got rid of this scammers.
I have used ExpressVPN for years. Not sure of the exact path but somewhere, while working on ExpressVPN, I clicked a link to you
you\'re a biased website, you created this website this year 2024, of course you\'ll score 100/100 because this is your website. Bad mouthing other agencies is not a good idea! just to prove your legitimacy, and I don\'t think you\'re legit and trustworthy at all.
Why does scam-detector.com score 61.5 small risk?
Except for your own website, the ratings of other websites are very low. Do you think you can get them up by spending money to get ratings? This is not a very good website.
Fascinating (well, not really) that *scam-detector.com* rates ITSELF as 100 out of 100 trustworthy.

Here is what she said. I think she was getting scammed by someone thru Facebook. What surprise to learn that: I started with a comment on Facebook, which led me to contact Lisa Nathan (later I learned it was a fake account using photos of another person named Amy Porterfield, who is popular). Today she changed her name to Lara Trader: https://www.facebook.com/laratrader.52?mibextid=ZbWKwL. I started investing $200, and through deception, she started getting more money out of me, first for a signals package, then she asked me to pay for a Wirex card for withdrawal, and finally for taxes, taking a total of $1,069. The last time she asked me for $500 in platform fees. The platform is Iqforexstocktrading, and the link is https://Iqforexstocktrading.com. They deceive you, lie, change your identity (using photos of another person without authorization), pressure you, and take advantage of your desperation and need. Send feedback
Scam-detector.com is the real scam in fact . Not hard to figure out, but would be extremely long to explain. Leave to each of you to figure out independently. Thks
I have used scam-detector.com for quite a while now. I use it anytime I am going to make a purchase at a website I have not used before. Scam detector has saved me a lot of headache and money and I will continue to use it.
scam-detector.com is SCAM
Scam-Detector rates Trustpilot.com at 100%. Trustpilot rates Spadeandco.com at 100% but Scam-Detector rates Spadeandco.com at 20.8%. Can you explain how that could happen?
This site is garbage. Ive tested sites i have known and used for years which is a strictly a financial education and financial tech development site. I was informed by s.d. that this particular site was in fact a scam site. The belligerent report also included a list of things the site was involved in, one of which being the fraudulent sale of seedless red grapes. WT ACTUAL F Scam-detector.com is a dumpster fire. On the upside you can pretty much count on SD to rate actual scam as untrustworthy since they seem to just rate most everyone up trustworthy with a handful of exceptions.
