Is rentola.co.uk Legit?

Rentola is a scam guys be careful . They took out £35 from my account without having any of subscription with them . They came up with a story of 28days renewal , I just paid £1 10days ago to get a landlord/agent number . I have reported them as a fraudulent transaction to my bank.

everyone is saying they were charged £35 secretly when it says that after 30 days they charge you £35 for the subscription, it clearly say so when you click to subscribe. yeah in smaller print and not in back but grey but it does state it right away! people just need to read more!

Absolutely appalling service. I was charged for subscription I didn't sign up for. They've refused to refund it and send me an automated email with useless information in it. I had to file a case with PayPal.

There is a lack of transparency regarding recurring charges, and many of the terms are hidden or unclear. Based on the numerous reviews I’ve now read, this seems to be a recurring issue for many users.When I reached out to customer service for a refund, I was informed that no refund would be issued despite the obvious lack of clear communication about the charges. This experience has left me feeling deceived, and I strongly urge others to avoid this service. Rentola needs to improve its practices and prioritize ethical treatment of its users.

This total fraud, everyone here complaining can't be wrong. The site needs to be shut down. I can't cancel subscription same day and I can't use my phone, the same device I used to sign up. That aside, they properties on their sites are having wrong details and misleading. The service was suppose to give details of the landlord or agent but this doesn't happen. This is just fraudulent.

they will take money from your account without you noticing!!I cancelled the subscription with them 24 hours after I signed up they tried to take money last week I went again and cancelled the so-called subscription!!! they tried again after 9 days of my cancellation!!! to take money, they took £35. Tomorrow I am calling my bank for a dispute, avoid them scammers, liars!I have tried to cancel the subscription!The subscription is already canceled 10 days ago but they still got paid after 10 days!I cant cancel any subscription on line and the system asks me if I want to reactivate my subscription (??!!)There is no subscription they took the money and in their system keeps asking if I want to reactive the subscription!! Avoid them!!!

AVOID!!! They scam you to believe they will only charge you £1.00 for a trial, but then when you try to cancel the subscription you can’t on the same day. The next day, you can’t even log in, because apparently your email didn’t register. Or your account doesn’t appear. Therefore when you reset your password, no email to reset your password comes to your email. Because they don’t want you to cancel the subscription. They are FRAUDULENT COMPANY. It should be shut down!!! Avoid at all cost unless you want to waste your money

Absolute scam. Signed up for £1.00 for a week to message land lords about some properties, nothing else was mentioned only £1.00 for a week. After the week they take £35 out of my account and when I go to log into to the account to see if I can cancel or something it won’t let me log into the account apparently it doesn’t exist. Absolute scam stay away from the place

No properties within my area, they take payments from your account and don’t refund them back even though you never signed up. Fraudsters. Don’t trust them

to the people who are referring to this as a "scam" are completely wrong. The fact you can't figure out how to cancel the subscription doesn't mean it's a scam at all - it's user error. Yes, it's a bit weird you have to go on a computer to end your subscription but if you also go onto your phones browser and change it to the setting 'desktop site' that will also work for cancelling your subscription.

So, basically you cant cancel your free trial without a laptop! I didnt know this, and so couldnt cancel it on time, yikes. I got charged! But rentola were actually really nice and girl called nina was super helpful and gave me a 50% refund which was kind, she was very prompt in replying, too.

Didn’t make it clear that the week I was signed up for would create a direct debit for £35 after the week.There was no direct debit mandate signed. Yet £35 was taken and I am facing homelessness with a dependent thar has a life limiting illness. They didn’t do anything.

WASTE OF TIME! Looking at rental properties for Mum who has become homeless due to flooding and she needed to move ASAP. Saw property in Rentola, paid to access details only to be signposted to FREE TO USE site Prime Location - and the property was not available anyway, should have used Google Image Search and saved myself the trouble, now getting spam ++ from this company - essentially just a signposting service you can get for free from other providers, AVOID!

I paid the £1 fee to get access to a couple of adds that I found here. The website sent me to the original website where the adds were posted and they were both expired, old adds. I am rating this 3 stars because of their customer service and in fact if I could rate the customer service alone it would be 5 stars. This rating is a combination of a one star and a 5 star 😄

cancelling was a pain as you needed access to a computer to cancel, and because i never had one i couldn't cancel... i emailed and told them the situation and the Nina at customer services was very helpful and quick in responding. She cancelled my subscription and took off the payment for me.

Tried to cancel my subscription from the pc how it says on their website but when you try to log in into the account on a pc it says wrong password or email , I have changed this 3 times , it works on the phone but not o the pc 🙄And if you say £1 subscription you should also say is just for the 1st month 😂 Then charging £35

It's not always easy reading the T&Cs when you are in a hurry looking for a property desperately. I missed a fine point but thanks to Nina and her patience for helping me out promptly without holding that against me. Very grateful Nina!
