Is relai.ch Legit?

Forced nfc kyc process completely kills the experience. I just bought a new smartphone, but cant complete kyc process now because of forced nfc shit in kyc process which my smartphone doesnt seem to support. Its not relai's fault, but it still sucks and makes the app unusable. The surveillance state can be proud of itself.

Easy enough UI to understand. wish the graph was a bit more detailed (coinbase does this very well). Buying coins is a bit of a hassle. Tried to buy repeatedly with the same method. Kept giving me error messages until it magically decided to work. Lost good rates that way and it's a bit upsetting. Overall the potential is there but could still be improved upon.

The best Swiss-based waller

After reinstalling the app, I was blocked when verifying the identity card. Three days later still no answer from support. The app is completely blocked. I had a problem with the app before and the support was also not satisfactory. That can happen, but the second time and not even an answer.

Lightning wallet: To much bugs and time delays. Swaps inside from Bitcoin to lightning or from lightning to bitcoin wallet doesn’t work well. No reasonable status report or whatever is happening in the background. All too often, the payment is rejected or not executed at all. The whole topic is still in its infancy and causes too many problems and is completely impractical for everyday use. There are better apps. The Lightning wallet has been in the beta phase for what feels like 9 months and little is happening to get a decent handle on the problems. But there is already a lot of advertising for absolutely useless things. Keep your hands off it. Bitcoin DCA works well

+ It is amazing to buy bitcoin directly into your self-custody. Considering even the big custodians are collapsing (FTX, Celsius etc.) I feel very secure with Relai.+ I also appreciate the low fees. Every month you can buy 100€ worth of BTC without any fees. And if you are looking for buying bigger amounts, you can reduce the fees by using an invite code (you can use OZAN if you enjoyed my review), and making an auto-invest plan.

Great and kind customer support. The small issue that I had after lots of transactions were solved AND compensated. Truly no KYC unlike most exchanges. It’s also decentralised and the bitcoin is sent to your personal wallet of which you only hold the keys. Relai is the best app to become your own bank!

To have the possibility to store your btc in an offline wallet

The worst experience ever. First year(s): no KYC. Then, without any warning you have to tell them everything except your favourites in bed. Lucky if you have a chip in your passport - or a passport at all - because if not, your coins are GONE. Never again!

I read through their info and rules, they all seem ok, in security level, also is was fast purchases, and wallet is self custody, overall a good option to buy non KYC bitcoin with a daily limit, yet the limit is high. Switzerland company seems trustworthy.

First of all, their service works. Like a Swiss watch. It's easy to use. If problems do arise, customer service is friendly and quick. What I appreciate most is their continued innovation (new payment methods, zero fee option) and their cool communication style. 100% recommended.

RELAI is just was I was looking for in this space. They don't bother with any dangerous rugpull altcoins but instead focus on Bitcoin. This makes it great because the app doesn't consume your time, is easy to use and super easy to set up. Once done, you just set and forget and focus on the important things in life!

the app was great, but now they have adapted the KYC process to the European authorities, so the wallet can only be used by +18, and KYC is also required to send or receive BTC or lightning. State surveillance at its best
