redcross.org.uk Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives redcross.org.uk one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 88.3. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 88.3 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to redcross.org.uk's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning redcross.org.uk, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between redcross.org.uk and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of redcross.org.uk. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of redcross.org.uk, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. redcross.org.uk is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether redcross.org.uk has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether redcross.org.uk boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, redcross.org.uk.

I was a volunteer with the Red Cross Newcastle and trained as a first aider, then an enhanced first aider, on the ambulance pathway. Turns out though that a module critical to both the enhanced and ambulance routes, medical module, was only half-taught due to expediency so didn't count for the ambulance pathway and wrecked that - but did count, weirdly, for the enhanced first aider role for which I was sent out at a premium I guess for the BRC (not that I was paid). When I complained one manager mocked me for lacking observation skills (when surely being in charge of all this he'd know better than to send out unqualified first aiders in breach of contract and insurance) and the training manager told me to join St. John's. Really nasty little enterprise. This wasn't in 2023 BTW, it was before, but it stems from an embedded cultural problem that without doubt extends across the entire organisation. Volunteers are 10 a penny, expendable, there to be used, shouted at, and blamed.
Had Lavinia for my first aid at work, what a great 3 days I had! Course info was delivered in such a helpful way, lots of information but broken down perfectly. Would highly recommend
I completed my 2 Day First Aid at Work requalification today. Rebecca Hutcheson delivered my training. Rebecca is by far the best instructor I've had in my 22 years as a First Aider. All of the information was presented in a clear and concise way, which definitely helps to absorb it all, her knowledge is second to none. I hope Rebecca does my next requalification.
Ordered a simple walking frame that is urgently required, in stock , paid on the 17th. No feed back or order status update, now on phone 25minutes waiting. Disappointed with this organisation.Update now 30th after more emails and no feed back, refund and also they have delivered the frame that's not needed. I seriously believe this bureaucratic organisation is wasting money, that is donated in good faith by many. I shall no longer be donating.

Just finished a 3 day first aid at work course in Bournemouth. Alex our trainer was fantastic.. help build confidence and expand knowledge even where sometimes there was some language barriers from some of the group. Alex kept us interested with the topic and made the practical parts fun and informative. He didn’t hesitate to answer any questions or insuraties we had, and help us not over complicate the matter at hand. Thank you Alex. Highly recommended
I attended the training in Portsmouth today and Sarah was absolutely fantastic. She is an excellent and motivated trainer who had the uncanny knack of retaining the attention of the class. She was a treat and above all of this, an extremely knowledgeable and passionate person. Thank you Sarah...I have learned a huge amount and feel much more confident in first aid after today. Your classes are highly recommended. Warm regards Catherine

Attended a one day emergency first aid at work course yesterday at Chichester Park Hotel. I was a little apprehensive before atteneding due to Covid but felt completely safe and confident in the measures put in place. Our trainer Debbie was brilliant. The course was fun, informative and Debbie checked at every stage we all understood and were happy to move on to the next scenario. I can't recommend this course highly enough and look forward to my refresher in three years.Thank you...

I booked for a Paediatric First Aid course and was told that I would had a certificate by the trainer. I asked a confirmation by the end of the class and she reconfirmed that my certificate was on the way in a week time.I contacted Red Cross and told me they had a technical error and my certificate would be sent in the same day via email. I was misleaded by their staff. I did a course that it does not renewed my previous certificate. So wasted both money and time. Thank you British Red Cross!! Never ever again!! Stefania
I worked for this organisation and was forced out! entire organisation full of people slacking around waiting for problems to go away instead of helping, especially managers. No one picks up phone or reply to emails unless they know you personally or you know someone who knows them. full of two-faced fake people no place for a truthful individual. No chance of growth unless you know the managers.
Rebecca Hutcheson is a wonderfully engaging presenter, very easy to listen to and the course was just the right mix of theory, practical demonstration. The course was presented in an enthusiastic way. The content can be related not only to speech but also to events and situations in daily life. Leaves you with a real feel-good factor. I can highly recommend this instructor.Rebecca Hutcheson thank you for a great course. Great presentation style with lots of opportunities to ask questions and talk about real life examples which all made for a really enjoyable and informative course. Thanks x
The British Red Cross staff from Nottingham delivered variouse pieces of equipment to my 92 yr old Mum who had suffered several falls recently.Their customer care skills were impeccable 👌 Thank you Rob and Andy.
The best first aid course, probably the best ever course I have attended. Three days with trainer GW in Chester @ 4A Vicars Lane.I encourage companies to support this Charity and quarantee your employees with come away far more knowledgable and confident about helping to save lives.Mike W.
I recently attended (19th July) a First Aid course at the Jury’s - Watford with the best trainer called Donna Cabral. I’ve attended this course before and was apprehensive when I knew I had to do it again. I must say Donna makes you feel very comfortable, her training technique is second to none & I cannot recommend her enough. I feel workers like deserve to get recognised & rewarded as they don’t come by easy! Thank you again!
Done my first aid at work 3 days course in Moorgate. While it wasn’t the first time when I have attended this course I must say Leigh Turner our trainer was brilliant, joyful and knowledgeable!Instead of keeping us on our chairs listening to her, the class joined together in specific activities making us feel part of the course, being always active and happy.Good fun, met nice people, felt good and left the course with a lot of confidence!Keep up the good work Leigh and really nice meeting you and the students! 🤪
The one day first aid for work course was fantastic. Activities to make it engaging and which made everything easier to learn and remember. Approachable for various questions and always assessing us to make sure we understood and could put it into practice. Tania was amazing from Exeter!

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
