redcross.org Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives redcross.org one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 89.2. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 89.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to redcross.org's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning redcross.org, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between redcross.org and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of redcross.org. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of redcross.org, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. redcross.org is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether redcross.org has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether redcross.org boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, redcross.org.

Friendly Staff, misleading email promotions. STAY ALERT AND BE AWARE! $45 donation invite for a platelet donation. DONATED IN AUGUST, received a $10 gift card via tangocard. Customer service was not interested in helping in their promotion that they are running to get donors in the door. I WILL NOT be donating again. Misleading lure to get people in.
I would get them zero if I could. There was an apartment fire a couple years ago in my apartment and it was completely destroyed and I barely got out alive with my roommate. I finally got a hotel and as soon as I got a room at a phone I called the Red Cross for clothing and hygiene products and help to start rebuilding. Guess what response I got? "So you're telling me that your apartment burned down a couple days ago,and you're just now calling? Like b I t c h yes. Didn't have a phone options or money until then..ugh they are useless.
Donate blood directly to your local hospital so they don't have to buy it from the Red Cross. They use a huge portion of their donated funds to pay for upgraded call centers and executive salaries. They borderline harass their donors to give more, whether it be blood or money. There are better charities out there.
The Red Cross is an actual real charity, which is more than can be said about a top rated charity on TrustPilot, the least TrustWorthy source for reviews on Charities. For that and many other reasons, they deserve 5 stars.
Great organization made up of thousands if not millions of volunteers. One of the most important non profit organizations in the world. Has saved so many countless lives it is hard for me to count. I've done some volunteer work for them and in the process I've met dozens of people especially on the phone that are some of the best and brightest people in the world from nurses to doctors to Pilots to IT personnel to Legal Representatives. You name it they do it. Got my CPR certification through them and almost became a CPR certified instructor. And maybe one day I still will and work for them part-time as a volunteer. My only real issue with the company is for such a large organization with so many generous dedicated people the communication factor between the volunteer work you do when to meet up with people how to do it how to organize things Etc leaves much to be desired. This is definitely one of the most generous organizations in the world that does many things for people but trying to stay in contact with people is incredibly difficult trying to get facts and details very directly is very very difficult. Something that could be very much improved especially for something that does so much important work is who to call when to meet up how to do it what to be prepared for. In this area there's constantly changing times and dates changing contact information who and where to contact someone what you are not qualified with seems to be very difficult to clarify with them and who to speak to and things get mixed up very constantly. Based on this it's very hard for me to rate them very high on an organized company that can efficiently distribute much needed care to lots of people. Like I said on this level there's much to be desired on an organized way to stay in contact with people to give the best service to people when and where they need it. That being said if you're one of the people who's had blood donated when you need it Services donated when you need it and got out of medical school when it did some volunteer work for them and they got you a job as a doctor you probably have nothing but nice things to say about them being maybe the best company in the world and rightfully so. I only wish the level of skill and efficiency and dedication this organization had to saving people's lives was put into the same level of communication and effective distribution of necessary volunteers wearing when is needed without going through a headache of stuff to try and contact one person once a month for just a few minutes to figure out what's going on next. Thank you for reading

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
