Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of reading.gov.uk. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of reading.gov.uk, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. What a joke trying to get through on phones to find out if my stepmums is on housing list.all diffrent times just can’t get through to anyone! Riddicolous.
Contacted RBC regarding disposal of boxes containing sharps. The lady I spoke with helped with everything and spent time talking me through the process.I’d give 5 stars if it didn’t take so long to get through on the phone
Always check the planning applications near you, because the council no longer ensure that notices be placed in front of properties where large building developments may be planned. And the onus is on your neighbour to tell you beforehand if works are planned, and of course they will not tell you if they think you may have objections.Like us, without any prior warning you could be awoken one Sunday morning by a neighbour having half their house very noisily demolished. Then have your summer ruined by them effectively building another house only feet away from your own house. Pneumatic drills digging 5 foot deep trenches going under your own property are VERY noisy! Then having dozens of builders wandering in and out and over your property for months on end doesn't result in much privacy or peace. And don't expect much help from the council that allowed it to happen in the first place.
Looking after me like a MOM do to her baby incredible.wonderful Genius STAFF(include employee at front and employees working at BACK),who do understand people and are in such humanity( which is rear to see these days people taken positions and Do NOT fullfill it)honestly hats off 2 You whoever is behind this Intelligent TEAM, I am only the newcomer haven’t even served any service to this Borough, people bad people I have DONE and still trying to do yet borrows even sees my whereabouts and left me over where I put in my strength and youngness working invisibly with them anyway I won’t stretch it no more I would have given Reading Borough 100 STARS if it exist Truely WONDERFUL ALL STAFF many thanks 🙏 🙏
Complain about road safey,no action was taken.Worst ,corrupt council in UK.Additional, they shamelessely keep increase the taxesPart of this week’s budget setting process, a 2.99% increase in Council Tax and an additional 2.00% increase in the Adult Social Care Precept was confirmed for 2024/25.
The Councils lack of traffic management gets even more farcical. Impossible to get to Spencer’s Wood from town this afternoon because traffic coming off the closed M4 motorway at Junction 11 is totally blocking the roundabout. This is a regular occurrence on a Sunday. Do the council’s officers simply not care about the people they purport to represent?
I expected to collect our red bin, but they skip it my one once I asked them why they even looked me and keep going working away. They didn't come a week before and once they appear today with poor behaving. When comes to collect Council tax bill it will work automatically without out any issue. Very disappointed. Poor management in terms of every aspects. Hope someone come and fixed this place properly.
Reading have been run incompetently for decades ....an MP few years back wanted Reading Council investigated?!Nothing ever changes with the corrupt council and most of its employees milk it (especially contract staff) for everything they can (it's a known click there?!Lol (jokers council....just note the reviews (they tell u everything u need to know?!
I'd give a zero star if I could. Reading borough council is a corrupted organisation milking taxpayers' money. Social services are shockingly incompetent. Social workers have no ear to listen to the vulnerable and manipulative. They keep saying that they don't have money to help those who are genuinely in need. But surprisingly a couple of members from their management team get paid by the council nearly a thousand pounds a day with two year contract. This doesn't sound right to me at all. Whose decision is it? Certainly, not mine!
I attended the ranger station at prospect park with my granddaughter for a low ropes session ,I am a powerchair user and found that although some adaptions for the disabled had been made, there still could be more to make accessing the centre and getting around it much easier , the main entrance door needs to be automated and other doors leading to the lift for the new cafe and for the disabled toilet and the layout of the low ropes could do with a bit of replanning as I was only able to stay in contact with my.granddaught from the outside of the rope area and staff had to help her when I couldn't I suggest also that perhaps a surblvey could be carried out with volunteer wheelchair users snd other disabled people to help better plan the accessibility of all activities making it as inclusive to all as much as possible
EVERY year we go through this. The festival arrives, the council spend money putting up signs in residential streets close to the festival. Then we get dozens of festival cars abandoned on our gardens, verges some actually try to park in our private driveways and abandone them for 5 days. The council signs say 'you will be towed' but when we call the council to have them towed they say 'oh we can't enforce those' infuriating waste of time and tax payers money. Typical Reading Council - do something to make it look like we give a damn and support residents but actually we'll sit on out thumbs and do nothing - as long as it makes money. Council staff are so rude when you call, they really are one of the worst councils I have ever cone across. I'd give zero stars if I could
Utterly appalling! As an organisation that’s primarily built on tax payers money and is meant to serve the public have no other job than to threaten people with ‘emails’ and accuse people of criminality if it goes against their agenda!!!
I overpaid the council tax, they told me they need to close the account and refund the money which would take 4-6 weeks since I've let them know I'm moving, It's been almost 6 weeks and they haven't done anything, not 1 single follow-up.Well done! 👎
If I could give zero I would as 1 star seems generous. I’ve recently had to deal with the council over a PCN that I deem to be unfair, having received a fine for parking on kings road, I paid for parking using the app, the app displayed Abbey Street as the closest parking to my location and so I selected and paid for this option. I believe I have grounds for this fine to be squashed. However the council have been unreasonable, rude and completely oblivious of any humanity during this process. Having read other reviews, I’m not surprised as this council seems to have little regard for its citizens
One of the worst run places I have ever seen in the UK. There is a feeling that it is like an old american gangster movies, where the council is corrupt, you see crime rate increase, roads damaged and getting dirtier every day, but on the other hand you see construction companies getting new permits to do what they want. It is just shocking overall. Rubbish everywhere, roads are a mess. I complained a few times and they just said it does not meet the condition to actually fix the roads. But honestly when I drive in Reading I forget that I am in the UK, looks like a city from a 3rd world country. Council tax is being increased significantly every year and I don’t really know what it is spent on. This city is going from bad to worse. I hope something is done otherwise I wouldn’t advice anyone to move and live here especially with family.
Not the best concil at all rude staff hang up on you and even refuse to help
Absolutely shocking service left with no gas for what will be 5 days because of their refusal to come and check for a carbon monoxide leak. Not an emergency, no heating hot water or cooker for 5 days and i pay them rent, what a joke Reading Council are, you couldn't make it up
Held on phone for excess 20 minutes to be cut off when number 1 Advised to web site which almost useless and so deliberately inept to try the patience of a saint let alone a lesser person
This deserves 0 stars. I am a blue badge holder and have restricted mobility. This means it takes me more manoeuvres and time to get into a parking space. I have received a parking charge whilst trying to park in the bay on Wokingham road. This is disgraceful. I was in the car with my headlights on and the car behind was manoeuvring out. The car was not stationary because I was trying to park.
I can't even get through to them on the phone. Even when you reach position one they never answer. They can't even run garden waste collectoon properly. They have destroyed Reading market by putting it out to cowboys, I suspect for a bribe. They are a disgrace.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
