Is raisin.co.uk Legit?

A great platform. I have multiple one-year savings accounts with them. Allows me to get literally the market-leading rate and to benefit from FSCS protection. There are service providers that offer products claiming to do the shopping around for you and handle the admin, but Raisin make it so easy, I can only imagine these competitors have lost all their busines!

The app works well. This is my first week with Raisin so too early to tell how well it will work for my saving. Transferring funds in was easy enough considering bank set transaction limits I have chosen on my current bank account. Let’s see how the savings go. Certainly more opportunity than I was aware of scanning Finacial pages.

Raisin could not be bothered to contact me over incorrect details held on my account. After several messages requesting a call back I gave up. Very poor service.

I signed up, jumped through the various hoops and transferred my funds. I was then told the account had been refused but they couldn't tell me why (probably because we had just moved house, but who knows). I got my money back after a couple of days and got a great rate from Vanquis instead.I look forward to the standard "We are committed to providing excellent services to our customers blah blah" response.

I have been using Raisin for investments for a number of years of years and I find the website brilliant to negotiate , I recently wanted to open an account with another provider but pulled out as I found it to difficult to work my way through the site ,

Market leading interest rates. The process of lending is simple, clear and efficient backed up by an excellent App.

Difficult to contact. Money disappears for days. Not easy to operate on a mobile. Good for rates

First I thought Wow very competitive rates for a easy access account. Then the experience of opening the account was just as easy and the App is very easy to use to. Once more there is no penalty for moving my business, if I thought it was in my best interest to do so. Well done Raisin 👏

My funds matured 6 December. They still were not returned to my account by today (evening of 10 December). This causes financial pain and emotional stress. Before maturity, raisin told me in a generic email that it is normal that the funds would take 2 business days to arrive and that they are not gaining financially from this. Well, someone seems to gain from this and it is surely not me. This delay was not communicated clearly when I signed up for the investment with raisin. If it is standard, then they should lower the advertised rate by the amount in order to be comparable to the competition. They don't seem to even stick with the 2 business days delay.

The telephone service is totally useless, I can get no sense from anyone and cannot access my account or get access reinstated, further to that. I emailed them as requested, received and thank you for e mailing us e-mail and nothing after that, emailing them today, 4 days after my first phone call, I note it is not even read yet, I am at a loss as to what you have to do.

Wasnt the most intuitive site and didnt realise they were a broker not a bank.It wasnt clear what commission they work on as someone has to pay them.Applied for high rate savings account but had to deposit funds first , then was refused account without reason?

What an easy platform to use. I could not believe how quickly I was able to set up an account. A fast response to actually set up a log-in, and then to purchase a Rasin product was exceptionally quick.

Always a little anxiety when committing funds to a new investment but the customer services team were very professional and the whole process was stress free.

Raisin keeps me fully informed of rate changes offering alternative homes for my finds. It’s fast, accurate and they offer full details of conditions attached to schemes. It’s nice to have clear information (including guarantees). So when a rate reduces I can move quickly to maximise returns. No lengthy discussions but clear, clean facts and links to the new offerings. I’m glad MSE listed them as a good source of the best rates.

Raisin Works well while in the UK, however problematic when overseas, and you have a holiday sim in your phone.All transactions require a code sent to your phone, this resulted in 1 weeks loss of interest on £85k.No other way to login, emails can take up to 1 week to answer……

I am withdrawing funds from a instant access account and the available funds is exactly £1000 less than the balance Obviously I’ve missed some small print somewhere where they can just keep some of your money Very disappointing Thank you for the explanation I have upgraded my review

Super great, I Was very happy with our options and the decision I make never heard of it before until that day when I went to my bank I can be able to save you know thank you very much

Very happy with the service been with them for 6 months now. A bit confusing at first but soon got used to it. Will be investing more now
