Is puregym.com Legit?

It's a very well-equipped gym, everything in working order, lots of space, multiple classes, etc. For value, it compares very well with other gyms in the area.I'm a fairly new gym goer and the one thing that puts me off is waiting to use a machine because someone is sitting on it texting away in between their reps (rep of 30 seconds, texting of 5 minutes). I get that it should be a relaxing experience but perhaps there could be a way of limiting the time permitted on specific machines at busier times?Overall though, it's upbeat.

The gym has a great atmosphere, it has all the high quality equipment needed and enough that I rarely need to wait to use something, even at peak hours.The staff are friendly and very helpful. They run different exercise sessions during the week as part of the membership to help with proper technique and training form.Overall, really great value for money. 100% recommended to anybody who lives nearby.

Great price. Good equipment. Friendly staff.My only real complaint is that the gym is a bit dirty (dust, hair, etc. on the floor), and there aren't enough stations providing towels to wipe down the machines after use. If you're really into cleanliness and hygeine, perhaps try another. Otherwise, I'd recommend it!

overall okay, however recently ( last few months ) the gym that I’m constantly going it’s having technical issues , ( toilets were out of service, now is half of the gym floor out of service) . I’m honestly thinking to change the gym as it’s packed and even more now that is out of service a good part of the gym. We need to consider as there’s few gyms around cheaper.

Really enjoy the amount of space at Altrincham, so you can quietly get on with your exercise without worrying about the place feeling busy. Loads of good machines so never a problem to find equipment to use.

It was very good to join the gym secondly I have two suggestions to make more easy for gym userFirst kindly issue a a digital card like a bank card we add in Apple wallet that we can use like contactless cards to enter the gym by double clicking it, it will be very easy to use every daySecondly please display on every gym machines QR code that we scan and there should be a video how to use that machine and how to do exercise on that machine perfectly this will be very helpful for every gym member specially new users Maybe this suggestions will helpful for every gym member Thank you

Becoming a qualified trainer in 2013 I have Trained in a Gym since 1974! PureGym came to note when the Gym I had ‘chosen’ as my favourite gym, decided to close! So, I found that a new PureGym was about to open right next to an Aldi store which was so convienient for me. You need to be happy with where you train today and in finding PureGym as an answer has also been one where there are new friends also! So, with an equipment ‘update’ just taken place I feel I can now expand my ‘stretching myself’ much easier! Well done PureGym!

A spacious well appointed gym with young clientele. Good standard and variety of apparatus with many fitness classes to join in with.Would recommend and will surely sign up next time I'm in Dundee

I had already been a member but cancelled my membership due to medical reasons and injury. I rejoined and found this process straightforward and easy to follow.I love the gym because it is spacious and there are a variety of machines. I also love the 24hour access

Gym has exceeded capacity, too crowded, you might end up clashing with the next person when you do an excercise. The mens locker room does not have any lockers that have a working lock, almost all locks are broken. It seems like the management dosen't care.

The area was very small with the workout equipment very close together No gap between running machines all lined up facing walls very uncomfortable no personal spaceNo sun blinds on the high windows above the walls so on a bright day the sun is directly in your eyesThis is a new gym not a lot of thought has gone into spacing out the equipment plus it’s next to a Costa so car is extremely busy

I have a great experience in year 2025the only issue here are the equipment, the leather torn apart , the rubber handles worn off, this can cause scratches and friction to skinPlease take a look this problemLastly, when doing a group training, please do not occupy the whole gym, I cannot use the equipment.

The gym is tidy, and well organised, almost everything you need. One big problem with Pure gym Caversham Road in Reading is THE SMELL. Every time you walk in there it smells like old sweaty socks... I haven't has this experience in other Pure Gym locations so they definitely have some bad airflow I dont know

Good to a point. I'd like to know when you intend to open and all I'm getting is prevarication. I don't accept that you haven't got a target date and don't understand why your customers can't be told when that is.That doesn't mean it's set in stone

Very smooth, good offer on joining too. Only downside is that I couldn't read your privacy policy. Looks like the link is configured for internal viewing only, on the server the website is hosted on. Luckily, it's an easy fix, but would like to read the policy.

Don't like to clean properly or update equipment as often as they should. Layout of gym area isn't correct. Pure only to listen to themselves rather than the customers that use the gym. People are being abusive at the gym and managers look the other way. Staff don't know how to handle it. However, apart from the above the gym has ok equipment and majority of users are friendly.

After trying to exercise my right to a full refund under their own money back guarantee, after my plans changed, I have still not heard anything back from my initial email other than a generic auto response. I shall therefore have to contact my bank and request a chargeback to my card. Non existent customer service!!!!!

The gym in Twickenham was crowded, several people were sitting on equipment playing with their phones, and there were no staff members on the floor. I approached a gentleman who was sitting on the leg extension machine for several minutes and asked to work in with him. He told me that he had two more sets to do, and then proceeded to get back on his phone. I looked for a staff person to intercede, but again, no staff person was on the floor.

Great gym and very clean, modern, lots of equipment. Unfortunately it attracts the younger generation and peak times it's crazy busy.Great feature is tye app and the work outs it comes with - just found following the workout hard as it was so busy.
