publishdrive.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives publishdrive.com a medium-high trust score on the platform: 72.7. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 72.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to publishdrive.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning publishdrive.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between publishdrive.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of publishdrive.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of publishdrive.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. publishdrive.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether publishdrive.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether publishdrive.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, publishdrive.com.

Their sales tem has been incredibly helpful. Other comments make me weary, perhaps my only advice is that they should offer an easy way to "escape" their chatbot and talk to a human
For me, PublishDrive, should be every author's choice of going live because it is tailored to in making publishing seamless. Like other publishing sites with too much bottlenecks, PublishDrive is free of hiccups but smooth sailing...
The company platform is relatively easy to use and what makes it great is that it has everything one needs to publish and distribute an ebook on one website. The dashboard is user friendly and highly functional. Customer service answers back emails in a speedy manner which I appreciate very much.
I was in the midst of navigating the complexities of self-publishing when I discovered PublishDrive, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Their user-friendly website and incredibly responsive support staff made it clear that PublishDrive is wholeheartedly dedicated to one mission: helping self-published authors succeed—quickly, efficiently, and expertly. From start to finish, they provided the tools, guidance, and support I needed to bring my book, Healing Through the Storm: Coping with Political Trauma, to market seamlessly. Life is a team sport, and when it comes to self-publishing, you definitely want PublishDrive on your team.
I am an self publishing author outside the borders of USA and have experienced a lot of issues regarding my ebook. Transferring money to my bank in my continent is one of the major issues, my book, a workbook, I've realized is not very popular in the ebook industry. While the other publishers outright rejected it, Publishdrive have allowed me to change certains aspects of my project. Communication is a breeze and the team is willing to solve problems I have occurred. They are prepared to go the extra mile. They have even assured me that help is near whenever there are questions. I am confident of a longlasting relationship with Publishdrive.
The reply I have just received from PublishDrive is my 2nd reply, this time specifically related to my business questions related to Royalties. The reply was well-constructed, detailed, and 100% complete. Very well done.
"I'm so impressed with PublishDrive's customer service. They're always quick to respond to questions and go above and beyond to help. It's a relief to have a reliable partner in my publishing journey."
Every time I use the site the assistant is a great help for setting up ebooks to sell on Amazon Virtual assistant is very quick to answer any question
I was looking exactly for a company to do the file conversions and automatic Book metadata generator and I was very lucky to find PublishDrive that has already made it possible for the writers, publishers and even book and ebook retailors in a way that they guide you to reach to interested buyers throughout the world.Changiz Nowroozi Larki.
Avoid company. Chatbots are answering you. I have been mailing for 5 weeks that I am the sole, self-publishing author with exclusive international rights, signed letter and with a passport copy and the bot keeps on answering that I need a confirmation of a publisher or an official document to prove it. They refuse publishing. So how do I prove it if I have never given the rights away to anybody????????? Avoid company. Terrible. Waste of time. Rather upload directly to google, amazon and itunes.
I have worked with all platforms for book distribution. Publishdrive is the most trustworthy, and Draft2Digital is the rudest, unprofessional, racist, and most incompetent. Draft2Digtial will rob you. With Publishdrive you can ask anything and get a professional reply. Their service has been improving and expanding over the years.
No live Customer Support or phone number when auto-response or AI answers don't suffice, which is exasperating. Not a user-friendly site. The dashboard is confusing & they do not display any pricing ranges up front so you don't know what to expect. I was very frustrated using this service. They need to overhaul their site & make it more transparent.
Zero tech or customer support. AI, chat or bot responses 100 percent of the time. Dashboard is a nightmare. Constant glitching and not user friendly. Better off using Amazon directly. Hope the owner reads reviews. Extremely disappointed.
This company kept debit my account of $17 every month to publish my book online. Yet l could not get my royalty payments. I was asked to provide an account for payout, which l did. Suddenly the number of books sold dropped to 11 from 18. My earnings dropped to $36 from $52. I was informed that my earnings were below the payout threshold so they couldn't pay me. Then l was asked to readjust the minimum payout value so l could get paid. Suddenly the link/button to adjust the payout value just vanished. The Payout settings option on the menu vanished.I logged and and tried to login again, no way - the page kept flagging technical error. There is no phone number to call. PublishDrive is just a scam. Please ensure you blacklist and avoid them
I'm publishing an AI-narrated audiobook through through them. They have made the self-publishing learning process smoother than I anticipated. Good and straightforward communication. I'm looking forward to working with them on my future projects.
When my request was sent, the wonderful agent replied quickly, with transparency to what is the root cause, what is the next step and to follow up when corrected. And it was done in such a wonderful way. Having experince in Customer service as an IT professional, this was the most wonderful experience that a customer would have experienced going through support and IT department to get the issue resolved. Much love and gratitude and thank you for your super awesome support!
Truly amazing! The customer success that comes with higher tier plan are really helpful and respond very quickly. Very useful if you have a lot of titles
I am glad that I decided to put my book on PublishDrive. It is important for me to be on all of the best sites to get exposure for my book and this is one of the best. Only a few issues but it all worked out. Ken.
I had clicked for the removal of the audiobook, but it was not removed from the stores. I contacted them and they said they would arrange for the removal. Now after 2 years, I still see the book in some stores. (I cannot insert here links). There is not enough seriousness in the management of my audiobooks. As long as it comes to uploading them great, when it comes to removing them, problems arise. Now I have to retrieve the account from 2 years ago and contact them again. What about the royalties from those 2 years?
I've been researching several methods to get more traffic to my publications. Now I always look past the negative reviews and give a company a try, with the free option. Well it's been just under a week. I have to admit they have the most polite and knowledgeable ChatBot I've experienced. So I followed all of the guidelines to upload my book and clicked submit; the platform has placed my book into a PLR production and won't publish it, and this book is my best seller on Amazon. So the, ChatBot advised me that I had to submit my copyright for the book to prove that I had written it to an upload feature on the site that doesn't exist. When I asked how to change my email address, they (ChatBot) advised me to contact support via email along with the copyright information. Well, I have no response from them at all; they send you promotional emails, and I get those, but as a customer who publishes what is important to the service, they provide nothing. So I've decided that if I use any company, I review Trust Pilot first, and if the company doesn't respond to any of the reviews, it's a no-go period. I'm submitting this to ChatBot for a test as well.

“Good idea, very bad customer service”

I was a Publish Drive member for more than 3 month and payed $25 per month. My book had formating errors, but I didn´t understand their message what to change. 5 emails to the customer service, but no response. Then I wrote to the CEO, she forwarded my mail to the customer service. They checked my book again and guess what, they gave me the exact same message (which I didn´t understand before) and never responded to any mail from me. The concept about paying per month and getting higher royalties is a nice idea, but their customer service is so extremely bad, that I cancelled my membership. “Ignored my requests”

Two days before the trial was up, I contacted them to let them know I would not be continuing. The message I received was that it was taking longer than normal to answer. Thankfully, I used PayPal so they are helping me get my money back since these guys just was to hold onto it and do nothing for me. Tip for consumers:Do not use this company. Products used:Publishing services Service Value Quality

“Very unreliable and dishonest”

*Zero stars* Awful company and dishonest people. My sales were always lowered then what I calculated (I suspect they kept some of my book earnings for themselves) I emailed them about the inconsistency about my payments and I was ignored. I sent a request to end my contract and demanded that they remove my book from their catalog. After 3-4 weeks, my books were still on sale and I had to contact the bookstores directly and explained to them that Publishdrive was no longer authorized to sell my ebooks on my behalf because I ended my contract with them. Needless to say avoid them that all costs. Just go to the stores directly but if you have to use an aggregator then use Draft2Digital (or smashwords) Service Value Quality

“AVOID LIKE THE BLACK DEATH”

My experience with PublishDrive can only be described as a catastrophic disappointment. From start to finish, it was a relentless saga of incompetence and frustration. The software provided by PublishDrive is a hotbed of issues. It's clunky, unreliable, and feels like it hasn't seen an update since the dark ages. Trying to use it for anything productive is an exercise in futility. As for their customer support, it's a horror show. The staff appear to have undergone training in the art of arrogance and condescension. Any attempt to seek help or clarification is met with disdain, leaving you feeling like an inconvenience. PublishDrive's refund policy, or should I say "no refund" policy, is buried in microscopic print and is likely in violation of consumer protection laws. They not only ignore your refund requests but also proceed to empty your wallet without remorse. Doubts also linger about their claimed location. Their address doesn't even belong to them but to another company called HiDeez Group, and payments are processed through Budapest. Beware and consider better alternatives. There are many! Tip for consumers:This company is a scam They are not where they say they are. They process payments out of Budapest and their address is not their own. They are a diabolical disgrace to the publishing software industry and should be shut down. Products used:The only crappy one they have Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Publish Drive what a rip off!”

These guys can not be trusted. They would rather steal your money than provide a service. My wife tried to get signed up but she never was able to and yet they took her money anyway. This company has no idea about protecting the customer. Don't ever use them. They are the worst. Tip for consumers:NO ONE SHOULD USE THIS COMPANY. THEY MANIPULATE THE INFORMATION SO YOU CAN'T TRUST THEM. Products used:None of their services were very klunky and if I was an author I would never consider them. They are liars! and instead of focusing on making sure that the customer is satisfied, they would rather steal my money. They are typical of a poorly run company, poorly financed who is stealing the customer's money to stay in business.

“Bad bad publishing company”

Stole my money, never published my books, and put me on a different plan and charged me higher even though i signed up for lower plan and refused to refund when i canceled the subscription and no books were published and put under review for one and half month. Total sham and scam. Avoid them like the bubonic plague. Thieves Tip for consumers:run away.total scam and sham Products used:nothing Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Terrible...”

Publish drive and Smashwords are no match for customer service compared to Draft2digatal. Draft2digatal uploaded my word doc without problems or dramas. Smashwords mashed the word doc words together on their software and tried to get me to fix in microsoft word. Publishdrive could put a titles page on my word doc and tried to get me to header the tiles of the chapters but after i still couldnt publish the book. Draft2digatal wins hands down on that front. One stop stop. No mucking around. Their software is state of the art and quickly publishes your book and tells you what you need to do in word without having to do anything fancy to have it published.

“Pretty happy with it.”

I bought a publishdrive lifetime membership from appsumo mainly to reach the Chinese and European markets not already offered in Smashwords, Draft2Digital, and StreetLib. The platform took a little bit of getting used to at first as it is not as easy to use as Draft2Digital. I used Calibre to edit my epubs and uploaded them to publishdrive. Publishdrive would error check, send a notification email, and I'd go back and fix the errors in Calibre. Ultimately, I've used them to distribute over a dozen books. The only glitch that keeps happening is that sometimes the dropdown menu for choosing BISAC codes stops working, and I have to save a book as a draft and come back in a different browser. Products used:ebook distribution Service Value

“Best platform”

- user friendly platform, with awesome and very helpful people. - very useful way of reporting - bulk import works perfect

“Awesome”

Excellent experience all over:-) The Publishdrive team is professional and precise. They response quickly and accurately.

“Great!”

With some minor improvements, it would be perfect. But it works as it is supposed to work. Excellent service.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
