Is prolific.ac Legit?

It is a way to get your thoughts and opinions out there in a meaningful way that will make a difference. You are compensated as well in doing so, which makes it a win/win. The surveys may be short or extended and you will get to delve deeper into subjects or scenarios that otherwise you may not have approached or investigated deeper. I find them to be mostly interesting if not entertaining and thought provoking.

Prolific has a good layout showing participants what studies they are taking, why, and who has designed the study. The software is convenient and easy to use overall.

Unlike other survey sites I've tried, I hardly ever get screened out of surveys. When it does happen, it occurs very early on in the survey. The monetary incentives are quite good as well, the approximate pay per hour being listed in the descriptions of the surveys, which tend to be higher than the other similar sites I've used. The minimum amount required to cash out is $6, which I've found to be quite easy to reach in a relatively short amount of time.

The surveys are smooth and quite easy to answer, engaging. The reward per survey is awesome. Even though there are not many surveys available, the ones that are, are worth doing and quite rewarding. Quality over quantity.

The have a lot of bug. when i created my account everything was working perfectly until i linked my paypal immediately when i link my paypal the just put my account on hold for no reason i think they need to work on that because it is so wrong that u will be taking studies and giving out your best view and opinion and you will be blocked for just linking your paypal

I have been on Prolific for 3 years. It was ok in the past, but the Prolific support is not existent at the moment, and there are so many researchers that take advantage and offer studies for 0.30 or 0.15. Really? All I have been doing lately on Prolific is clicking not interested under the studies because they offer such a low amounts.Few months ago they introduced some changes and the ruined the platform.

So far so good! Just signed up for Prolific yesterday. Made approx $17 in one day doing surveys/studies. Everything was pretty easy, very professional, no glitches or lagging.

So far this has been a fantastic experience! There’s plenty of studies (for me) to choose from and so far the disqualification rate has been extremely low. I cashed out just to see how long it would take and I received my payment within 5 minutes. Thank you Prolific!

I have used so many survey/study sites to make a little extra money. There are so many sites that well, if you've ever tried to make money with survey sites you just know and if you haven't, I'm pretty sure my tone is clear regarding the frustration you can encounter. Prolific is 100 percent legitimate. They do what they say and I have really enjoyed the studies that I've been a part of. There has been a lot of availability and opportunity which has been another pleasant surprise.

Whenever I have some downtime I'm able to o a few surveys and earn compensation! It's great!

I recently started using Prolific.com to supplement my disability earnings. I had been looking for a way to earn a little extra money, and this is exactly what I was looking for! The site is easy to use, and I have no problem finding tasks that I qualify for and am able to complete. The pay is reasonable, and the tasks are interesting. The only downside is that there isn't a "refer a friend" link, which would have been nice. Other than that, I love it and will definitely recommend it to my friends.

I stand by Prolific 100%. This is the only site that i use because they are honest and good. The studies are fun and entertaining. I be sad when i miss some of the studies because i dont get in fast enough and its filled up when i see it . But that is ok because there are so many studies that make up for the one i missed. But i love you guys at Prolific. You are awesome and i just want to say keep doing what you do because once again you are so awesome. Easy to use and easy to see website -it's not 'busy'.I have received a lot of studies in the past 36 hours since I signed up. I have made 30$ so far-not bad for something to do on the side!Some of the surveys are interesting and fun--for one I played a type of game . I recommend Prolific for your beer money!

“Review”

Prolific is a great survey site, they pay out Paypal at 5.00 but lately they been slow at giving surveys and the researchers taking a little longer to give reviews, although, still in the time frame but not like the past in doing them in a couple days. Hope more studies will be coming soon.

“More straightforward and pays better than most survey sites”

Unlike other survey sites it pays what it says you will get for a survey. The offered amount tends to be better for your time than others I have tried. If you pay attention and actually take the surveys I have had very few come back and complain and want the submission amount back.

“Dishonest & slanderous scam site - Please Avoid”

I have been a participant on Prolific for well over 2 years now. They were a good site - lots of interesting surveys and always paid reasonably and fairly quickly. I never had anyone expressing any problems with my work and my surveys were always approved by the people giving them. But since July 2021 I stopped receiving any survey invites and no surveys were showing up on the site itself. I checked my profile status and there appeared to be no problems so I followed the advice on their FAQ and didn't contact them until 2 months had passed with no surveys whatsoever. When I did contact Prolific, it took them over a week to answer me and then I was told this: 'I'm afraid you won't be able to take part in further studies on Prolific because your account has failed one or more of our automated checks, as well as our manual review. Unfortunately, I can't give you any further information about the specifics of these checks and won't be able to reverse the decision.' Unbelievable treatment from this site after several years of diligent and honest work. I've done nothing wrong whatsoever and now I'm suddenly banned without any warning or even the decency to let me know what's happened? Truly a despicable and vile site. Like all survey sites, they will ban you as soon as you start doing well without any explanation. Oh yeah, and they'll slander you as well without providing any proof of wrongdoing. Avoid this site at all costs unless you like being ripped off and insulted.
