productreview.com.au Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives productreview.com.au one of the lowest trust scores on the platform: 11.1. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 11.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to productreview.com.au's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning productreview.com.au, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between productreview.com.au and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of productreview.com.au. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of productreview.com.au, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. productreview.com.au is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether productreview.com.au has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether productreview.com.au boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, productreview.com.au.

“JD Sports Rip-off merchants. Robina, Gold Coast Manager 'Corey'. Arrogant, Rude and Condescending.”

My daughter recently purchased a pair of shoes from the Robina store using a VISA gift voucher she recieved for her birthday but the display ones were dirty so they ordered her a pair to be delivered. When the shoes arrived they were a different fit to the display ones. When she attempted to return them, the staff refused to refund the money or give her another another gift card. They would only give her a store voucher forcing her to spend it at their store. This is despite the receipt clearly stating that 'refunds are given in the form of the original payment' BLATANT LIES! My daughter asked to see the manager and someone named 'Corey' then spoke to her in a very aggressive, rude and condescending manner. He kept walking off mid conversation and basically showed a complete lack of any customer service skills whatsoever. My daughter now has no option but to spend this money ($100) in a store that neither she, nor I, nor anyone else we can influence, will ever shop in again. BUYER BEWARE. Do not give these arrogant, lying rip-off merchants a cent of your hard earned money. Tip for consumers:A ZERO rating button Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Complete waste of money”

Used it, hard to put on hard to get off. Complete Scam. Leaves stomach with sticky residue and that is it. Save your money. Tip for consumers:Would want a refund Shipping

“Can be trusted!”

Never had any issues with them. If I read their reviews I then buy and have no issues. Unlike Trustpilot who removes my negative reviews everytime and have misled me multiple times. Product review seems to me to be reliable and safe. Tip for consumers:In a battle between Product Review and Trust Pilot Product Review wins every time. Service Quality

“Only promoting defamation and negativity - unless you give them some money”

This business promotes negative reviews to damage small business, unless you have a paid ad with them. They currently have a major Australian law firm forming a class action with a lot of disgruntled businesses. When you do a search on these guys they have hidden their identity BUT it is only a matter of time before they are brought to justice. There is no conscience behind Product Reviews.com.au, they dont care about the small business owner who could lose everything due to their policies in promoting negativity and encouraging defamatory comments. The Australian public deserve to know about this business Tip for consumers:There are plenty of good review sites around that are fair, Product Review are not one of them. They are quite happy to encourage defamation and negativity from customers to damage small business

“productreview.com.au is a scammy website”

productreview.com.au DO NOT publish genuine negative reviews about businesses that pay them. I have left many negative reviews for large businesses that have provided very poor outcomes, ripped me off or made false claims about a product or service who prey on consumers and the imbalance of power they command over us. Do not believe the very large number of positive reviews on productreview.com.au because these are mostly fake and designed to mislead and deceive consumers into believing the business can be trusted. Tip for consumers:Do not trust these people! Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Unable to Deal With Fake Reviews”

Registry Australia (https://registry.com.au/), a scam business registry site, continually puts fake 5 star reviews on productreview. All the reviews are from reviewers who only do ONLY one review, for you guessed it, Registry Australia. Productreview have been notified multiple times and don't even bother to respond. Service Value Quality

“Not as transparent as they make out to be and select which reviews they want to publish”

Recently wrote a review about ANZ and they didn't publish it even though it was as factual as it could be. No reason why just rejected. Have already posted many reviews before but they selectively didn't like this one. So they are not as transparent as they make out to be. If you reject a review you should state the reason why otherwise your just as dodgy as the companies being reviewed. Not a 100% honest review site and lost credibility with me

“One of the worst sites to obtain reviews”

Product review is riddled with fake reviews from disgruntled ex employees and competitors. Overall an untrustworthy site and waste of space on the internet. The 1.8 stars out of possible 10 inidicates how much people do not like productreview. Tip for consumers:find another site for real product reviews, this site is untrustworthy Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Good reviews”

The site is fairly similar to Sitejabber, but with less reviews and categories but a more organized system. Searching for reviews of items is easy and you can filter them by ratings, popularity, number of reviews... etc I find that a really thoughtful option for users.

“Untrustworthy and Heartless”

Product Review seem to lack a conscience when it comes to who they help. It appears they are happy to support abusive people who threaten others. Our staff were abused by a customer who later wrote a negative review and Product Review are happy to leave it up even when it is not factual. Don't bother trying to reason with them to have it removed it is a waste of time. No wonder there is a class action pending on this unethical company. Tip for consumers:do not trust this site Service

“Riddled with fake reviews”

A company trading as Metropolitan Plumbing constantly posts obviously fake reviews on Product Review. Product Review ignores reports that the reviews are fake. It looks like collusion between these companies. Service Quality

“Perigord Truffles of Australia”

I will never trust buying from Perigord Truffles of Tasmania. The owner Duncan never responds to his emails. I ordered a gift pack with Truffle Shaver and Black Truffle and a large Truffle oil. I was sent an order confirmation that I would be receiving my order. I didn't receive the Shaver and the Black Truffle was tasteless absolutely no flavour a waste of money. I wrote asking why, no response and wrote about no receiving my correct order, no response. The truffle oil was to be a gift and I received 4 x 250ml bottles instead of the 1 litre. The oil is flavourless and I have bought better quality Truffle oil at Harris Farm. With all the reviews on Perigord Truffles website I was expecting quality. Absolute waste of money and he completely ignores you. Poor customer relations would never recommend buying here. I honestly believe I received a "false" Truffle as genuine Truffles are full of flavour. I have had numerous Truffles and this was the worse Truffle I have ever tasted. Tip for consumers:Beware of buying from Perogord Truffles of Tasmania. Read the poor reviews on Google from others complaining of lack of communications, not receiving their order and the quality of black truffle we received was the poorest I have ever tasted. The truffle was old and flavourless plus was already cut when received. Did receive any of my order I paid for complete waste of money. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Don't waste your time.”

You go to the trouble of writing a review, and verifying the sale by uploading a copy of the receipt, and for some reason your published review shows a different model. Not a different color. A different model with different features. Why did THEY change the model? So anyway, you edit your review to simple add the exact model in the description and a month later you see your edited review is still pending, unpublished! What a waste of time! You thought eBay adding product details automatically and getting it wrong was bad? Try Product Review! Haha. What a joke. Apart from that, don't believe the businesses with an unnaturally massive amount of almost all 5/5 star reviews.

“Great products!”

Thank you for the great customer service! They were able to help me. I know it's my fault for not reading the terms of the trial but since I like the products so much I continued the monthly supply, thank you for the excellent service they also gave me a gift, thank you!

“Site allows personal attacks”

Product Review as a site that is for a review of a product seems to have a generic response for those not happy with the text input by the reviewer. The site should be a review on the product only as the site name suggests, but it appears you can also make comment on the staff of the business which is not an issue if it is positive but when it is a personal attack on ones persona it should be removed. I have asked twice and just get the same generic response. Tip for consumers:Be factual and not abusive, defamatory or personal. Service

“Product Review shame on you”

My recent experience with Product Review has clarified that it's a dodgy company. I and my partner hired Clearly Strata Reports and it came out as a dodgy company. We dragged them to court and have won the case. Now Penrith Court has ordered Clearly Strata Reports to refund us and the company is not refunding us. Product review has removed both our comments and invoice to support that dodgy company. They have forgotten that they are under ACCC and Australian Consumer Act. Tip for consumers:We hired Clearly Strata Reports for building & pest inspection for a property. We paid the amount and as part of that job they agreed, they didn’t provide a single photo and the damages mentioned in the report are generic utterly rubbish. We lodged a court case against them & we have won the case. We lodged a case to court and have won the case. Penrith Court has ordered Clearly Strata Reports to refund us and the company is not refunding us. Product review has removed our comments to support it Service Value Quality

“Censorship issues”

Productreview is useful but I have concerns about what they are not allowing in reviews. Take AFCA for example, they have a person convicted of indecent exposure working there in a role where they obtain the personal and financial details of unsuspecting members of the public. Given the fact that one it is a criminal offence and they have a conviction and 2. Indecent exposure is a precursor to more serious crimes including rape and murder it is more relevant to know about that than to know that AFCA is slow. We all know AFCA is slow, what we dont know is the person you are interacting with is a convicted sexual predator.

“Amazing product. Fits to size!”

Product arrived faster than stated and fits perfect for my son! Texture of shirt is amazing and doesn't shrink when put into a drying machine! Overall great item!

“Unfair and Unreasonable”

I have contacted product review several times about a fake review against my business I have told them I have evidence that it is a fake review which is hurting my business They want me to sign up and spend money to report it through their system But they say they will not remove reviews also So what is the point of any of it Anyone can write anything about anyone with no consequences- cold world hey Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“I wouldn't bother any more”

I wrote a perfectly nice review and it was 'rejected'. It didn't tell me. It didn't tell me why. Why did I waste my time? I can tell you this much, I won't be wasting any MORE time there.

“My go to site for all expensive purchases”

My go to site for all expensive purchases... This is always the first place I look for when researching any product. Keep it up!

“The promote fake reviews”

They promote fake reviews and support companies that are paying them. This is their way to make money Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“I like!”

It is a nice "consumer" site. Really worth visiting!

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49.
