Is ponomasteel.com Legit?

Quality of tbl v good. Beware: tbl is very heavy. My friend has stainless tbl from a mainstream store and it’s much lighter - more movable. Delivered in an extremely sturdy box that carrier wouldn’t open. Left on concrete driveway. 2 normal people canNOT move tbl top. 3 persons lugged tbl top inside after box easily opened. Legs came unattached, as you’d expect. Easy to bolt to tbl underside IF you have a hex head T40 driver.

The product we ordered came quickly-quicker than expected. The workmanship is superb. There are no rough edges - everything about the mantel speaks to the craftsmanship of the person who fabricated it. We’ll be installing it within the week - expecting it to look great on our fireplace wall.

I bought three shelves for my wet bar in the basement and while they were pricey, I knew they were worth it. The items came packaged incredibly well and based on what I’ve seen online, they are extremely durable and strong to hold all the alcohol bottles. Would definitely recommend For anyone who’s really wanting to make a statement!

Packaging, communication, product!Excellent in every aspect imaginable!

The communication between Yuri and his partner with us was excellent. Whether through email or via phone, they were always available to answer all of our questions right away. We live in Hawaii, and were a bit hesitant to have our stainless steel floating shelves done without having ever seen their work in person. Our order took a bit longer than we anticipated. Since we had a mix of custom and non-custom pieces, we appreciated Yuri's honesty and his suggestion that to insure that the finish matched, we wait until our entire order come from the new inventory made with their new equipment.

Ponoma Steel has wide range of options, styles, and colors. We placed a special order with 2" radius curved corners which came well packed and on time. It installed in minutes for me (experienced home owner). Be careful of over-tightening and warping the mount. The fit and finish was excellent and it made a fantastic mantle shelf above our linear gas fireplace. Its non-combustable with 1200 deg paint so it should last. It looks great and protects the art works above it from direct heat.

I called for a question about sizing prior to ordering. I got a real human on the other end, who stopped what they were doing, went and measured, and gave me the info I needed. Top notch service. The shelf arrived incredibly well packaged, the quality was flawless. Would DEFINITELY suggest using them for your shelving needs. Great company.

The shelf was immaculate! Beautiful and refined with perfect corners & great customer service! Ponoma helped me to decide on the GLOSS BLACK and when the shelf arrived it could not have been a more perfect match for the application. I’m now ordering 2 more! I’m a perfectionist so believe me when I say these shelf’s are definitely pricey but every cent spent reflects clearly in the product quality. I got samples in time to make some design decisions. I will be purchasing more of your beautiful shelves for my dining room to create more storage that is contemporary style . Am even more pleased to support an Illinois based company that has quality workmanship.

The extra cost for painting is astronomical. They should supply self-tapping sheet metal screws to attach the mantle to the mantle bracket because the holes don't line up. Other than that, it's a nice product and added the look and protection we wanted on our fireplace/tv.

MOST IMPORTANT: This is a well made product and it looks great installed. That being said: There were several problems with shipping that required several emails to finally resolve. Email was answered quickly so I never felt like I was hanging and wondering. I would buy again and do recommend this product.

I installed the 60” s.steel mantle/shelf today. Can be easily installed by 1 person. I bought a carbide drill bit to drill through porcelain tile and concrete. I am pleased with the result and highly recommend Ponoma.

I needed a mantel for my outdoor living room fireplace. I searched many different sites to get the perfect mantle. Needless to say it was a bit confusing! Ponoma's site seemed a little, shall I say unbelievable...I was concerned that they could not not produce the exact size, finish and design that I wanted, especially for the price. If it's too good to be true... Well I am clearly telling everyone that What I ordered is what I received and in the timeline that they stated before I ordered. I just personally installed it myself. It was a breeze to install. I only wonder why I waited years to finally order the mantle!

I ended up returning the item, however the quality was good, but my fireplace was too big and too close. The product still held up to 20 minutes. WIth that said, I would recommend their product and the kindly reimbursed me and sent me a return label. Thanks team, I appreciate the customer service.
