The device doesn't work. It will not connect to any of the apps recommended by customer service. I am not the only one with this problem. Even then, they will make you pay for return shipping. It's a complete waste of money. The only other option is to wait till their $#*!ty IT department gets their $#*! together and fixes the problem. Ordered one translater online then received an email stating I had purchased and had to pay for 4. Contacted them immediately but was told that they couldnt change the order as the warehouse was already filling it. This was within 10 minutes of placing the order. Very dishonest company. I made the mistake of buying this Poliglu. I opened the package to use it and it did speak spanish that 1st time but it never worked after that. When I spoke into it, it wouldn’t translate to any language at all. I do as the instructions says and it does not work. My google translate worked better than this Poliglu. I been sending many emails to return it for my money back but I have been getting the run around. They said they am unable to initiate a return because the item should be in the manufacturer’s condition and in their original, undamaged packaging for a return to be possible. (even though the box and all accessories and the machine are undamaged), and I would need an RMA (return form) of theirs to put the tracking number on it for them to track it which the company won’t do unless I use their form. I can’t just return it and get a tracking number from the post office and give it to them. I also have only 30 days (reasonable) to return it for my money back. Yet I do not qualify because package has already been opened. I did all the troubleshooting on this device yet they want me to troubleshoot again to make shore that the device is not defected, that is the only way for me to get my money back.
I just want people to be wary of products sold online and read all policies they send you about returns before buying.
I going to try and mail it back with the post office tracking number on it in its original packaging with al accessories and see if I might get my money back, but I doubt it. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY OR THIS DEVICE. USE YOUR GOOGLE TRANSLATE ON YOUR PHONE. IT WORKS MUCH BETTER.

I did not authorize the purchase of these translators andI was scammed.
I attempted to cancel this order within one minute after I was notified by Poliglu that a purchase had been made. Poliglu was not authorized to complete this purchase or charge to my account.
I made every attempt to cancel the money they took from me. I tried calling Anna at Support, but I was put on a never-ending “hold”.
According to the instructions, I pressed “1” to leave a message to Anna but her recording does not give the opportunity for me to leave a message.
According to the instructions, I pressed “2” to receive a “call-back” from Anna, but no call-back communication or instructions.
Originally, after reading Poliglu’s ad, I wanted to see PayPal’s total amount of purchase including taxes, etc. for ONE translator. PayPal always shows the total and gives the opportunity to review the purchase prior to the buyer clicking on “Pay Now”, but that did not happen.
Poliglu directs the buyer to submitting an automatic payment form first, then unjustly takes the payment for FOUR translators without the buyer’s final approval.
I HAVE DEMANDED A FULL 100% CREDIT BACK TO MY CREDIT CARD AND Poliglu PAY THE RETURN POSTAGE.
Now they want me to pay the return postage!!!!
Ordered one online for a friend’s birthday . Someone rang me today to say I needed to order as add on as that was how it’s charged. Sounds suspicious so I’m going to see if I can stop payment .
SCAM! The Poliglu two-way translator is garbage. It is not accurate and it takes a very long time for the translation to take place making a conversation impossible. To top it off, they are located in Lithuania. They sell to the USA and offer returns if you pay for the shipping. Shipping cost on 2 translators was $213. The company offers lip service, not customer service. What a waste of time and money!
I wanted one translator. The checkout page showed an order for three (+2 “free”) with almost triple the anticipated cost. There was no way to confirm or reject the order. When I called the contact line, all I got was a run around with a promise to handle it “tomorrow” with the warehouse. I immediately disputed the charge on my credit card.
After I read up on others’ comments, I realized the video itself was a scam; the device merely hooks up to your telephone (bluetooth?). I have grave doubts that it would work in many rural areas.
This product and the company is a scam. The product is NOT a translator and does not work without a bluetooth connection to your cell phone. It is nothing more than a “speaker” and is not any translator.
Also the money back guarantee is a scam. They charge a 15% restocking fee plus they are located in LITHUANIA and request that you return the product at your expense. TOTAL SCAM!
