Like the device but don't add all the extras. Should be one unit. Feel pressured to add more.

The device is as advertised and is easy to use. Attaching the carrying cord is not easy. It fulfills its purpose and is is very useful when travelling. I would like to see additional versions of South American Spanish included in the languages covered.

I've seen many bad reviews online about the Poliglu translator. Well, all I can say is there must be something wrong with the one I received, because I'm giving it 5-Stars. It works beautifully, as described. It was a piece of cake connecting to the app and the translated vocals I require are perfect. There are no problems with sound levels. So, I'm going to have a lot of fun with this translator.

I received my item on Thursday, it stopped working on Friday.I am editing my review, the company as replied with a very prompt answer which i find very professional. The handset is working to a degree now, it still doesn't have a voice response?. It shows on the app what has been said but no sound.Poliglu have sent a refund which i didn't ask for but i would like to thank them, I hope that they can resolve the issues going forward and i wish them every success.

I'd like to leave a review that may be of particular interest to Samsung Galaxy S10 users. I received a Poliglu Translator from my wife as a Christmas gift 2023. Excitement turned to disappointment as whilst the translator happily connects with her S9 it would not/could not connect with my S10.It seemed that Poliglu had not matched their own tech with that of S10 androids and above, though marketing continued unabated. It seemed that my wife had wasted her money on the gift.Contact with Poliglu was pleasant. Staff always listened and politely responded but still no techie fix. Poliglu refunded the cost of the translator. Customer service never returned calls or email.In regard to the product, it was fairly priced, delivered in a timely manner, easy to install and understand Also translates several languages very quickly.However, when I played the translation back, the programed voice is spoken extremely fast- too fast to comprehend. Tried contacting Poliglu support several times and nobody to date (over several weeks) has not gotten back to me. If they had I would have given them a much higher rating. But any product, no matter how great, without service cannot be recommended.

I foolishly ordered two of these things for an upcoming overseas trip and neither one works. Customer support is a joke and totally ineffective. Now I have two expensive paperweights. 4/9/24 Update: I finally did receive a refund, so I changed my rating from one star to two stars, and I deleted the phrase “100% a scam”. However, they don’t work so proceed with caution. I really wish these things had worked though.

This my last and updated review on poliglu. I ordered one poliglu translater and got charged for four. I got onto a support chat straight away who said they would look into their systems error and customer service was priority. After 2 days they would not budge and told me they couldn’t change the order. It wasn’t until I wrote a scathing review and set the B.N.Z. Fraud Department onto them that they did a big turn around and decided to give me a full refund. I thank poliglu for the refund but I do not give them any credit for integrity. This whole experience for me has been distressing and really unpleasant . My advice to anyone making a purchase with them is make sure you see the order form before making the payment and check it thoroughly. I have been asked to now submit my telephone number to poliglu so that they can better understand my order. Otherwise they will delete my review. Heck no! So viewers, if you see this review disappear, that is why. I thank poliglu for the refund but I do not want anything more to do with them. HOWEVER- I have found that a different app does load and the translator works fine with that. Download “MUAMA Enence” and use that and all is resolved. I’m happy to update my rating because Poliglu sent me an email the other day apologizing for the bad experience I had when purchasing the translator device. They issued me a full refund for the transaction and didn’t require me to return any of the units. They also said that they would send me a gift of a cooking knife as a token of their good will. I had the misfortune of having to give a poor review for the translating device purchased from Poliglu. It was impossible to connect it to my iPhone 13. This I realise is not the fault of Poliglu but with the application from Apple’s App Store. Joan from Poliglu in the USA took the trouble to phone me in Portugal and has offered a full refund. She also assured me that their technical department is working to resolve the issue with iOS operating system. I am completely satisfied with the service I have receive from Poliglu.

I've been getting spam mails with ads for their translator for months. Several times a day. They are completely screwing up my inbox for no reason. If you pay spammers to reel in customers, your company shouldn't exist.

Tried product right out of box. Worked as advertised. Some problems with low volume. Also instruction booklet has issues. 1) not informative, 2) no cleaning or storage instructions 3) print is too small. Would be better if you had more detailed booklet that was downloadable in my preferred language

Doesn't work, out sourced customer support who know nothing, then refused to pay postage to return the faulty item for a refund (which is illegal in the UK), then I have all the hassle of returning item to Lithuania from UK. Don't touch this - learn from my mistake.

I have replied, but the company deletes critical comments on their ads on Facebook, so don't buy it. Waste of money and time. They want only positive comments. Therefore, read Trustpilot and see that they have a very low score. The positive scores are guaranteed to be made by themselves. It is fraudulent or misleading.

I decided not to keep the Poliglu because the aps on my phone do an equally good job. I had some difficulty getting the device returned and my refund given. But at last my refund arrived. I still advise buyers to rely on their phone translation aps especially if they have bought one of those rest-on speakers, for additional volume in noisy restaurants.

The same thing happen to me as another customer. I purchased one translator but was charge for 4 translator. I called within 5 minutes to change the order but was told it already was ready to ship and I could return them for a refund once I received them. Once received the company told me I had to return it to Lithuania to receive a refund and if you happen to open one they won't give you a refund at all. I am really debating whether to return them since I may never see my refund plus paying for the shipping cost to return it. A total scam!

Neither of my Poliglu translators now work. They were both bought in August 2023 and worked first time I loaded them on a Galaxy S22 Ultra. The problem appears to be software related and occurred after the update to the Android 14 operating system. The device does not connect to Bluetooth and never gets beyond the "Scanning for Devices" message. What I find disappointing is that Poliglu knows this problem exists and does not appear to be treating a software update as a priority. All I get are the same messages telling me they are looking into it. They offer a two year warranty which they have immediately repudiated as the product was not returned in the 30-day period. I don't want new devices, what I want is updated software. Is that so difficult to sort out? If they are selling devices that cannot be used on new smartphones, they should be telling customers.
