personalprotectiondogs.info Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives personalprotectiondogs.info one of the lowest trust scores on the platform: 13.1. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 13.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to personalprotectiondogs.info's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning personalprotectiondogs.info, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between personalprotectiondogs.info and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of personalprotectiondogs.info. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of personalprotectiondogs.info, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. personalprotectiondogs.info is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether personalprotectiondogs.info has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether personalprotectiondogs.info boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, personalprotectiondogs.info.

This man is NOT to be trusted. He rips people off and then never sticks to his promises. He charged me a fortune for training and then cancelled several times. He was meant to help my dog settle in and stated he would provide a fully trained dog. The poor dog stank and was in a fragile state. I called Rob so many times and he has a different excuse every time. Rob is a con man, the dog seems to have been abused as every time I raise my hand (even to put my phone to my ear) the dog thinks he is going to get hit. He promised me the dog had pedigree papers and was from a champion breeding line. I’ve had nothing so far. I’ve chased and chased and chased. Every time I’m told he is in Scotland or at some prison training new dogs. The last excuse was he was at some police terrorism exercise. The man is deluded, a total pathological liar and worst of all a con man. DO NOT GET ANY DOGS FROM THIS MAN.
This guy is a con artist, he also has one to one dog training school where he states its located in Scotland but its really at South forest farm in Edwinstowe Mansfield. He is conning venerable and disabled people, he sells them a dog under the impression they are fully trained assistance dogs for a few grand and then gets them to take up 20 weeks training at £250 per week per hour. He constantly lies and his staff and himself Rob Metcalfe aren't even qualified or experienced trainers. He uses heavy handed methods with the dogs. The dogs are nervous and stink of stale urine. Avoid and find a decent trainer
This cruel and disgusting conman is still operating. Spotted this morning in his "Dog Unit" in Staffordshire. Probably fully loaded with another batch of poor fogs
I unfortunately spent time at the so called kennels and witnessed Robs so called training with the dogs and how he operates. I was shocked that he actually believed he was a top class trainer. He has no thought for the actual welfare of the dogs. He has no idea how to train any animal. He doesn't have any understanding of dogs behavious and different methods to help them. He just yanks them about on a prong collar until they are crying in pain so they appear to be walking at his side. He is just out to make money at any cost. He has been reported to the authorities by numerous people but always seems to carry on taking peoples money and causing pain and suffering to dogs.
Conned my disabled husband & I promised to make our Dutch shepherd an assistant dog. It never happened he just charged us a lot of money, (cash, he always insisted on cash) he did promise a refund last year still waiting. Wish I’d looked into him more complete con man!!!!!
I have a 10 month old bulldog called sox .he is very aggressive towards other dogs and very disobedient. I got in touch with rob and janie they came out to me in manchester done an assesment 2 days later.they recommended a 2 week residential they sent videos every day and within 4 days he was walking in close proximity of dogs with no reaction and was behaving himself. Rob actually rang me one night when i was having a breakdown over sox as i suffer with severe ptsd from army service. I could not recomend rob janie and his school enough.my guardian angels
Don’t go near these pair. Scammers they took £3000 of me to train my dog. The dog kept on coming back underweight and full of fleas plus scar on her Nose. I’m a ex veteran a single parent of two young children but they fail to respond to me. My dog won’t even sit or come back on recall, she was very aggressive towards my girls when the dog come back.Do not use these pair or there other business protection dogs. About time these pair are held accountable for the way they prey on vulnerable. Trading standards have took a keen interest. Let see what happens if court is needed it will happen my dog shown aggression before they got hold of my dog. But came back and bit my youngest daughter
I would give 0 if I could. My poor 10 month old Doberman went to residential training between 8th to 21st Dec 2022. He went in perfect condition and came back with a foul smell, covered in Urine, Conjunctivitis in both eyes, ear mites in both ears, multiple LACERATIONS !! And was ANOREXIC. A vet visit confirmed it all💔 PLEASE do not not send your dog here I am heartbroken, my boy is not the same, he’s exhausted and so timid. He obviously hadn’t been fed. They’re trying to blame it on “that’s what happens when dogs are boarded” but this is simply not true. I truly believe if my boy had been there longer he wouldn’t have returned alive due to malnourishment. Reported to council and rspca. They need shutting down😢
Excellent service with great trainers who got my GSD to behave as he should. Due to lockdown I wasn’t able to socialise him much so he was very aggressive when he left here. Dog behaviouralist couldn’t help but having been for training here he’s come back a different dog, a real pleasure to have now. Would highly recommend these trainers.
We were at a complete loss with our 12 month old german shepherd and were days away from giving up hope. That was until Rob from personal protection dogs assured us he would be able to help us. Over the course of just 12 weeks, robs transformed Willow and has changed all our lives. Willow is now an asset to the family and we couldnt be happier with his progress. Cant thank rob and his team enough for everything they've done. Will certainly be recommending him to anyone struggling with their dogs agression and all round mis-behaviour. Thanks again!
You really should read the bad reviews about this company because they completely reflect my experience with these people. Robert Metcalfe and Jane Armstrong are not to be trusted. They both have a history of failed businesses. Look them up on companies house. There are at least 3 unsatisfied & active CCJ’s amounting to over £8,000 against this company. They have multiple websites purporting to be legitimate businesses that do not exist to cover up what actually goes on with this company. Find PD Dog School & onetoonedogtrainingschool.co.uk same people hiding behind a plausible website. Don’t be fooled, they actually believe their own hype but it’s all a sham. Be warned they will tell you exactly what you want to hear & then fail to deliver. If you look at reviews elsewhere where they have responded it’s always the customers fault, they just cannot see how bad they are. We took an allegedly highly trained dog back for a training session with Rob & the dog attacked him. Says it all doesn’t it. You’d expect the dog to love the trainer, not go for him. Avoid these people at all costs. You have been warned
Absolute conman. Avoid at all cost. Find another company out there who will treat you like you should be treated. Still not paid my £1000 deposit back that legally had to be paid within 2 weeks. This has been going on since May!!! Arranged for a payment plan from them. Never made the 1st 2nd or 3rd payment. Still owe me £1000. Find another company 100%. DO NOT TRUST MAN AT ALL.
It's been nearly a year now since my GSD went to this place for a 17 day stay....treated appallingly and was in a bad way when I picked him up. Taken to vets immediately who was shocked at his condition.Took them ( Robert Metcalf ) to court and won....still no refund under a CCJ. Now trading as Sheps dog training under his partners name JANIE ARMSTRONG..as this joker is as much use as a chocolate teapot.Steer well clear if you love your dog.
Today we came for our first one to one session with Rob and the team with our 2 year old rottweiler who it was becoming impossible to walk due to his reactivity to other dogs and general obedience issues. As police officers working shifts we never thought we'd find the time to comit to getting our boy sorted but Rob is more than happy to accommodate around our shift patterns. I couldn't believe the difference in our dogs behaviour within just 5 minutes of Rob being with him. I'm so excited now to see our rotties journey through training with Rob, his wife and the rest of the team... we've never been able to walk our 'pup' near other dogs before... today he walked through the middle of about 15-20 dogs, played with a puppy and was incredibly well behaved the whole time. Even my partner who is 5ft and weighs less than the dog was able to easily walk him around other dogs without being dragged face first. 10/10 would recommend.
anne simpson12 July 2021Robert Metcalfe is a brilliant trainer who came to the Scottish Highlands from Nottingham today to help me and my german shepherd. My dog was dog reactive and within an hour my dog was walking beside his dog with no harsh methods /prong collar/e collar as was recommended my a local trainer here in Scotland. Robert has offered me and my 2 dogs a placement at Robert and Jaynes residential school in Nottingham including Robert and Jayne travelling up here to collect me and my 2 dogs to save the hassle of me travelling by train down to them . I would be on a 21 day training programme with my dogs . End of the training would be assessed by an independant police dog handler. Also Robert has kindly offered to travel back to the Highlands with us to make sure I get back safe with my dogs.
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM TOOK NEARLY 3000 POUND FOR NOTHING. DOGS CAME BACK WORSE THAN THEY WENT WISH SOMEONE WOULD GIVE ME THREE THOUSAND POUND FOR WALKING AROUND IN CIRCLES EVERY DAY FOR THREE WEEKS AND CAME BACK WITH SERVERE NECK INFECTION EVEN WHERE WE HAVE OUR DOG BATHED SAID IT STUNK SO MUCH. SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN
I've sent in my two GSD for high level obidence training, my male Atlas is 4 months old and already highly trained, the only thing I've needed help with is some behaviour problems, within a few minutes Rob brought the excitement under control and touch me how. I adopted a female GSD last Saturday, the previous owner didn't tell me that she hadn't been socailised at 6months old and she was aggressive to people. I got her to like me and my partner after 30minutes but i knew i needed professional help with her. On the way home I called Rob and he told him the situation, the next day i took him to her and I've seen changes so drastic I now comfortable with her in public. Her personality hasn't changed, she's still a happy dog and even better with no fear of people so everyone is now safe. Thank you Rob and your team you've changed her life and ours.
Took my dog a happy gsd ( just very reactive and boisterous). Ment to be for 15 days did a home visit after 4 days as we were upset and my dog is broken he is caked head to toe in faeces And a total mess. Rob even sent me a video 2 days in of a dog with looked like mine to show me he's ok IT WAA NOT MY DOG. Paid lots of money for him to knock the soul an spirit out of my lovely boy 😡
Robert Metcalfe aka rob or bob, this gentleman is an absolute crook. He sold my wife a gs dog to be a personal protection and turned out it was from a local rescue centre we paid £5000 for a rescued dog. He also was flirtimg with my wife please stay away from this dirty man. This company is rubish and stay away. Do not fall for his traps. You can buy his dogs from rescue places. He is in Nottingham south forest farm. Has a website pdsearch dogs. Stay away from this company scam scam scam. Will not refund you either
Contacted Personal Protection Dogs for training for our new rottweiler puppy. Gave £100 deposit and was told that I'd receive a puppy pack (police lead etc) during the first session.Trainer was an hour late and spent no more than 15 minutes with our dogs. My poor puppy yelped 3 times on the slip lead as the trainer dragged him round the garden. He was petrified. At £200 per hour (Yes, you read that right!), you'd expect to receive a premium service. But the trainer was constantly on his phone and distracted. The only time he did speak to us was to try to sell us his residential course. No way we would consider sending our dogs away with him after what we witnessed.I paid the £100 balance in cash just to get rid of him as the whole situation was really awkward. Then was told that he's bring the puppy pack next time.I text to say we wouldn't be proceeding with any more training, didn't get a response.Just awful.
