Wish I could give this company/site zero stars (and also wish I had looked up reviews before engaging with them as well).Marketed as a "free" enneagram test, but after a lengthy questionnaire, had to pay a modest amount for a 7-day trial to see results.They also make it difficult to find how to unsubscribe / cancel the service (there is NO account page or menu on the main site); eventually found a link in one of the original emails, but by then, I had missed the cancellation deadline by a day. When I reached out to support, they said there was nothing they could do (BS) and that I was stuck with the account for the next two months.

The only psychology used here is to get unsuspecting customers to let down their guard and open their wallet. Nice pictures and a well designed site trick you into thinking that the content is valuable. It is really a trap designed to separate you from your hard earned money.

As per all the other comments, it was the lack of upfront information about cost. ok - so I shouldn't expect their assessment to be free, but it's the time pressure to make a decision which is a typical scam tactic. That and the 'spelling' issue £29.9 rather than £29.90 just stinks of "hand over your money and we'll give you some random appraisal, and you'll have to go through hell to cancel the subscription".That, as well as the Reviews & Feedback very 'uplifting' - Leonard Hollow, 18min ago. It was marketed as a free enneagram. inwasted the time answering about 50 questions then it tried to charge me for the results. These people know what they’re doing, and they’re charging for something that’s readily available free, So there’s no obvious value that’s being given. But the deception seems like a weird play. Def think it would be funny if someone decided to crash their servers for wasting so many people’s time.

Disgusting business practices. "Free" test means you can waste your time taking the test for free but you must pay to see what the results are. Don't force people to waste their time in efforts to entrap them into feeling like they now need to pay in order to validate their wasted time. Even if you're low-paid sociologists, you should be ashamed of using known predatory practices covered in all first-year psychology. There is no excuse. Absolutely disgusted by your company--I hope someone finds a way to sue you out of business for false advertising, but you probably found loopholes.

A scam, which claims to be free but then tries to take a payment from you before you can see your results.Here in the UK I'm pretty sure that would be illegal, since it's essentially a form of false advertising or even mis-selling I could make a suggestion about the personality types of the people behind it, but it would probably contain a lot of expletives, so ....

If I could give negative stars, I would. I signed up for free trial, and never did get the email I subscribed to, despite being charged more than I agreed to. I canceled within the trial period and was still charged another $29.95. I called the number on the site which almost immediately disconnected the call every time. The email address to contact them, returned my message as undeliverable. Scamming thieves.

Googled free enneagram. First result. Took the test. Spent 30 minutes to complete because I don't know myself very well hence why I took the test. Afterwards asks me to pay a subscription. This is dirty because it's not mentioned that you'll have to pay until after you spent the mental energy to answer questions about yourself. I thought about paying but decided on not because I thought to myself I don't want to support a company that is going to do something like this.

Total scam. No personality type given (it was a 5 letter/symbol gibberish) and when I called their phone number they couldn’t answer simple questions then put me on hold and never came back (no surprise). Called my credit card company to cancel immediately and the personalitylab.net made 2 charges under track.thatreport for $1 and for $29.95!

It says your results cost 95 cents and then charges you $29.50 when you enter your card information, and it gave me the exact opposite results of my actual MBTI type (I’ve taken multiple MBTI tests hundreds of times throughout the last 7 years and always gotten ENFP, this test gave me ISTJ.)

Like the other reviewers, I knowingly purchased my test results for a single charge of $9.95. Five days later I received an additional recurring subscription charge of $39.90 that I never signed up for. I checked all emails for this company and no where do they say I will be charged for this service on a recurring basis. Also, The Personality Lab doesn’t offer a way to check your profile to see what charges you inadvertently agreed to or were signed up for without your permission and easily cancel. They are clearly hoping to capitalize on people who don’t monitor their bank accounts closely. This is such a shady business practice. I’ve contacted them via the email listed on their website requesting cancellation and a full refund. We’ll see what happens.

You go through the entire questionnaire to find out it's behind a paywall. In addition to that there's plenty of free assessments available. Couldn't be any more disappointing and the page should be taken down.

I spent about 20 minutes of my life taking the enneagram quiz on Personality Lab just to see a page that asked me to pay $15 to see my results, and I am definitely not wasting my money on a simple answer. The worst part is, they didn’t have the kindness in their hearts to tell me that it was pay-to-win before I started the 20-section quiz. I’ll just figure it out myself, thank you.

Wasted my time for nothing, should not even be reccomended by google. Its stupid to ask for money for such a standard simple thing 16 personalities does it for free. Basically a scam does not tell you it required money and then after you take your time it asks for it a waste of time that i will never get back. Should say immediately it is a paid service. Unessecary.

Would give this scam a "0" if I could. I paid $1 for something that was supposed to be free. I immediately sent a cancellation demand to their support contact to cancel the 7-day trial period before i could be charged $29.95. The addressed bounced: no such address. Then my bank contacted me and blocked an attempt to withdraw $29.95.

Horrible buisness practice, I typed in mbti test free in Google, got this trash websight tho I didn't know it at the time took 20 minutes to take the test only to be locked out of the results through a paywall. Don't give them your money and give them a bad review.

Searched all over the place for whether i have to pay for the Enneagram test, i didn't find any clue in the website. After i answered 100 questions, they asked me for $20 to get the result. You let people know about your paying service and its cost before they engage in the process that will take 30-60min of their time. Hidding this information is just a disgusting manipulation.
