Is personalalarms.org Legit?

I was a little worried about mobile coverage where my father lives - neither of us has any mobile signal at his house. I had an email exchange and later a telephone conversation with John who was extremely patient and helpful. After a little research their end we decided it was worth ordering with the knowledge that I could return within 14 days if I found it was unsuitable.I am pleased to say that extensive testing on receipt put my mind at rest. The only issue now is getting him to remember to wear it!

Excellent customer service, really easy to set up and a great device. Really innovative locking in the wrist band so no need to worry about it being taken off and forgetting to put it back on, no static equipment that could be unplugged and the reassurance that I can see when Mum goes out, where she is and when she gets home again. So reassuring for Mum to know she can talk to me just by pressing a button. Also really helpful reminders to charge the device. It is no exaggeration to say that this device has given my Mum so much more independence and it’s given me more freedom as I feel safe leaving Mum for a couple of hours at a time. Life changing!

I was getting frustrated at the time on the phone BUT the lovely lass on the phone reassured me we can sort thing which she did,

After a number of years the original pendant alarm developed fault with interactive communication - alarm still activated when tested and firm aware but unable to speak with wearer through the device so contacted the emergency contacts. Staff tried to resolve this with new SIM card and by talking through a reboot but when this was not successful the pendant required replacement with newer model. Firm are easy to contact, all staff dealt with were really helpful and friendly. Very speedy response and very happy customer.

Registration was the reason why I could only award 3 stars at this stage. The appropriate information form is poorly designed with insufficient advice on completion and inadequate space to insert details. It should not be too difficult to come up with something more customer friendly.fortunately, the salesperson who followed up my enquiry ( Daryl Yates ) couldn’t have been more helpful for which I was truly grateful.i have yet to go live with the system but sincerely hope that operations proceed more smoothly than registration.Peter Thompson

I ordered a year subscription online but because the previous one had lapsed there was a problem finding the SIM. Even though it was Saturday your person got in touch and the issue was sorted quickly with a new SIM being sent and the subscription transferred over. My mum is safe again! Fabulous service, thank you.

As a long-term customer having to make contact regarding a pendant that would no longer work the staff were extremely helpful in trying to troubleshoot and when we came to the conclusion that a new pendant was required they helped me to select the best one for my needs. Since the purchase and set-up they have been concerned and helpful in ensuring the pendant is doing its job. I appreciate all the help I have received.

Its always a little unnerving buying something like this online from a company you don't know but it couldn't have been a better experience. Whilst ultimately the watch alarm wasn't the one we wanted, the initial delivery was very quick, the return and refund was very simple.Would highly recommend them.

My 91 year old mother has had a device for 4 years. Last week when she collapsed in her bathroom it failed to work. She was by herself for over an hour when by chance a neighbour called in and found her in a very distressed state.The suresafe go device was fully charged but was not connecting. As it was Saturday we had to wait until Monday to talk to suresafe. They confirmed the device was faulty, but refused to accept any blame as their reply is always "it's up to you to test it"They sent a replacement device, unfortunately this was defective as the charger was not working. I managed to get a separate charger working via the USB port, but this took over an hour to work out. The replacement device was not sent with any instructions, and suresafe failed to contact us to check it was OK (which it wasn't). The lights on the device worked differently to the previous device. Had I not worked this out my mother would have been without an SOS alarm again as it would have run out of charge. Suresafe say they have no way of checking if a device is working. Which seems crazy to me. My mother has paid over £900 to suresafe, in her hour of need they failed her.

I contacted the company for information about the product- very prompt response and clear, helpful guidance was given in an accessible and friendly way. I ordered the product and then got a phone call saying that your staff member had noticed I'd not ordered the non-removable bracelet. This mistake was quickly recitifed with minimum hassle. Watch came quickly and was exactly as described. Help was offered at all stages.

Really pleased with everything about this company and the alarm we purchased for my mother after having a few falls. The alarm arrived the next day with full comprehensive, easy to set up instructions. Their website is quick and easy to use and their communication throughout the process was excellent. We had originally ordered the watch option but the strap was a bit tight so opted for the pendant type. They sent this out the following day with free returns packaging for the watch alarm. This was all sorted by a quick simple phone call with a helpful, kind and knowledgeable guy who processed the order/returns with no quibble. My mother and the family are now happy that if she falls again, the company would be there to help and deal with the emergency services and contact us, leaving her feeling more secure in her own home. Would absolutely recommend using this company.

Quick and easy experience. Think it’s a shame that I am unable to change the battery myself as they glue them in, but called customer service, they explained this and for a reasonable price, had a new one ordered and arrived the following day.

The Personal Alarms Customer Service has been excellent. The pendant was easy to set up, and to charge.Having the security which comes with wearing it , both within the home environment and wider afield, has given my Sister the confidence she lacked when moving around. The GPS tracking element and the App provide a great way of being able to check up on the well being of my Sister without having to constantly call her during the day.

I was happy with the help given by the staff.Although it would help to know that the SIM card is already in watch when it arrives. I thought it was missing from the box and had to contact a member of your staff.Also it would help if the watch had a strap band to tuck the strap into , as there is a lot of extra strap for a small wrist.Other than that . I am very pleased.

The monitoring watch is great, and very easy to use for my grandmother. It is easy to setup in respect to the data plan, emergency contacts and the low battery alerts are welcome. When speaking through the watch, it is high quality and clear. Lastly, very good customer service as phoned to ask several questions before buying, and all were comprehensively answered. Thank you!

Great service over the phone. They contacted me several times to check what I required. I ordered the watch with family/friends contact. Delivery was very speedy. A great product that does exactly what I need. Very happy and do feel more confident now I can contact family with one touch of a button.
