Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between pekao.com.pl and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of pekao.com.pl, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. The advisor at the branch and three advisors from the telephone customer service assured me about free funds transactions from Great Britain to my GBP account at PKO SA. Everything turned out to be an ERROR, B***SH***, the bank charged me for the transfers the very next day. The bank clarified the fee schedule, which contradicts the advisors' stories. Why do we need advisors then? For misleading customers?
Poor customer service , not responsive , low quality
This is more of mafia than a bank. My financial advisor presented their mortgage offer as most beneficial for me at the time. Then my problems began. In order to get an offer (8% mortgage) I had to open account with them and make it my main account for salary transfers, buy their credit card, open debit credit on the account and pay for number of insurances. Eventually I got the mortgage (500k pln and have to repay one million pln in 25 years). Few years later and because of a parking fine they blocked my entire account for 7 days which is illegal. They can't provide any legal basis for this. I don't recommend their services unless you want to lose access to your money then yes please do business with them you will be fine.
I don't have experience with other banks in Poland, but what Pekao SA is doing is unacceptable. There is just one bank pekao sa in Legionowo, the bank machine is almost always broken, when you take cash back while shopping using debit card, they deduct operation money from your account. I think that it is theft, specially that I live in Canada, and my bank never deduct any money while taking cash back while shopping.
In English because primarily aimed at foreign nationals in Poland: If you open a new account expecting to get a bonus "premii" money when you comply with the requirements, you WON'T unless you're a Polish citizen (even if you have a PESEL and permanent residence card). Buried in the terms it says only for Polish citizens (along with other conditions). Branch staff don't always know and won't necessarily warn you. Complaints including directly to Bank Pekao's HQ were rejected. Is it discrimination? Well, my view is obvious. And a friend who is Polish also didn't get her premii money for some terms or small-print reason too. So, we both closed our respective accounts and would never bank there again. I have the docs, the letters, maybe the EU will look at things one day, but for now always thoroughly check the Ts & Cs before opening an account and don't let charming helpdesk or any branch staff (you may have to show your ID on opening) distract you from this.
Stupid Bank, you call Hotline and 4 people tell you 8 different things, unbelievable this is when you take Personal from everywhere without knowledge
Bank Pekao - a disgusting bank. They have mislaid SWIFT transfers on more than one occasion, the latest scandal being a $450 wire that is currently 2 months late.
Horrific experience with Pekao Sa. They blocked my online accounts, when I transferred the money from abroad to buy land in Poland. I was not able to exchange the money to send to the buyer. As a result I lost over 35k US. Shame. STAY AWAY FROM BANKS.
I'm going to share my personal experience from about 10 years ago, when after an usual expense charged in my card, they called my (then) wife's number (because her number was in the file together with my data) and instead of asking me to pick up the call, they didn't authenticate me as the individual associated to the account (not shared with my then wife), and started sharing details of my account and expense with her. The agreement of my data and bank details or history is between me and the bank, unless stated in writing. After a complaint to the bank, the response didn't include any honest apology. Be careful when dealing with this bank.
My advice would be to stay away if you want your online accounts to be serviced fully online. Tempted by the bank's attractive savings rates, I opened a current and savings account online a short while back, hoping to be able to sort out most things online, as I currently do at another bank in Poland.Sadly, it appears that even to get fully started you need to visit a branch, otherwise they set lower limits on your online transactions. But even then, to do other things (e.g. declarations or applications), you also oftentimes need to go to a physical branch, and sometimes more than one visit is needed because their incompetent staff do not have a clue and give you misleading information or incorrect forms to sign. Online communications take forever to get an answer and most things are simply a "no", so I'd not bother. This was a very frustrating experience and I am leaving Pekao SA and sticking to my current bank which - despite lower savings rates currently - manages to get most of my banking needs sorted remotely and with no hassle at all.
The bank offers a great deal the girl that works with me are so polite. They offers great investments.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
