Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between pdxrenovations.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of pdxrenovations.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. “Beware of PDX Renovations: Predatory Tactics and Coercive Practices”
Title: Beware of PDX Renovations: Predatory Tactics and Coercive Practices Review: My experience with PDX Renovations was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment they contacted me, I felt like a target rather than a valued homeowner. Their approach was aggressive, their tactics were predatory, and their contracts were designed to trap unsuspecting sellers. I was coerced into signing a contract without fully understanding its terms, and critical clauses were intentionally concealed until it was too late. The subsequent inspection was invasive and left me feeling violated and powerless. Throughout the process, I felt manipulated and exploited. PDX Renovations preyed on my vulnerability, leveraging my financial struggles and mental health challenges for their own gain. I urge anyone considering doing business with PDX Renovations to proceed with extreme caution. Their practices are unethical, their contracts are deceptive, and their treatment of homeowners is disgraceful. Stay far away from this company if you value your peace of mind and financial security. Tip for consumers:itle: Why Avoid PDX Renovations: Deceptive Practices & Predatory Behavior Summary: I decided against using PDX Renovations due to their deceptive practices and predatory behavior. I want to thank Austin for a painless experience selling my house. When ever I had a question he was there to answer. I needed to change my close out date and he worked with me and did it. I would recommend PDX Renovations to anyone needing to sell your house fast for any reason. Austin made selling my house easy and at a fair offer. Thanks again Austin. “PDX TOOK GREAT CARE OF US”
My wife and and we're retiring and wanting to move and enter the next chapter of our lives. We owned our home but our experience with selling our previous home was making us anxious to listing it through a real estate broker. We decided that we would just try and see what a home buyer business would be like even though we were apprehensive about it. We knew what our home was worth and the costs associated with selling a real estate broker and was aware of selling the stories related to selling a home buyer. We contacted PDX Renovations and met with Cody at our home. We were pleasantly surprised how on how we were treated. Mr. Jordan treated us with respect and did not insult us with an offer that would have been a waste of time. He was knowledgeable about the market in our area and made an offer that was not only fair but was in line that took into account costs that we would have had to make with small fixes and closing costs. We took the offer with no closing costs. We were also allowed to choose our own closing date that allowed us to move one time into our new home on the lake. Tip for consumers:These guys deliver on all promises. Products used:Home selling service and it was awesome. Service Value Quality
“Big Waste of my Time”
I do not see how this company ever got any good reviews. I wasted hours of my time on email and attempting to call which is very difficult when you have had your cell service cut off in your entire area when 3G was killed. First I could not get a copy of the contract from them to look it over and that went on for months, then I got a new person to deal with and sent in all my photos and info again but it was all a huge waste of my time. After sending photos and a list of most of the renovations I had done for the SECOND time to the them they obviously looked at the old photos on the internet of what it looked like when I bought it many years ago and not at the current photos. FORMAL COMPLAINT AGAINST PDX RENOVATIONS, PDX FUNDS, AND JOHN HERMANSON This complaint exposes deceptive practices and coercion by PDX RENOVATIONS, PDX FUNDS, and John Hermanson, collectively referred to as "Defendants." No financial transactions occurred in this matter. I. INTRODUCTION I, file this complaint addressing troubling incidents involving PDX RENOVATIONS, PDX FUNDS, II. BACKGROUND This complaint stems from: An initial inquiry unrelated to selling, triggered by a received letter. No consent from family before discussions or agreements. My vulnerable mental state is due to major depressive disorder, disabilities, and financial challenges. III. THE PDX SCHEME Defendants, operating as PDX RENOVATIONS and PDX FUNDS, are accused of predatory tactics: Targeting vulnerable homeowners through public eviction records. Coercing homeowners via misleading letters referencing eviction laws. Pressuring premature agreements with scripted approaches and inflated cost evaluations. Manipulating homeowners into disadvantageous payment formulas for tax benefits. Exploiting legal loopholes to trap homeowners without exit provisions. IV. THE COERCED CONTRACT During negotiation and signing: Coercion and rapid signing prevented a thorough contract review. Undisclosed clauses allowed Defendants to exit, binding me exclusively to PDX. LEGAL AND ETHICAL VIOLATIONS Absence of a stipulated attorney review period denied legal scrutiny. Constructive cancellation tactics were employed after refusing repairs. VII. Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
