paypal.de Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives paypal.de one of the lowest trust scores on the platform: 11.4. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 11.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to paypal.de's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning paypal.de, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between paypal.de and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of paypal.de. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of paypal.de, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. paypal.de is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether paypal.de has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether paypal.de boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, paypal.de.

I have used PayPal since years to transfer and receive money. Only last week for the first time I had to contact them for a fraudulent case, a company had taken more money out of my account than they were supposed to. I filed a complaint with PayPal and the money was refunded within a few days.
I was travelling abroad, my account got blocked and I could not pay the bills. Costumer service could not authentificate my Identity. In the same run they refused to send another bill directly to my registered Paypal email-adress. Finally I had to pay double the amount of the original bill to a third party because Paypal's customer service was not able to identify me and kept my account blocked. Lost all trust in this company. It has always been too expensive, but used to have a good customer service.
Non delivery of goods from scamming company and they refuse refund. Proved to PayPal they did not exist and their delivery was false. The address used wasn't even mine and PayPal could have checked that against the one PayPal hold. They could also have checked with NZ couriers who say thay have no record of my goods.Makes you wonder if they in cahoots with the scammers.
Paypal is the real scammer. They allowed 30 fraudulent transaction to happen. Then when the account went negative ( I didn't know that was even a thing) they threatened that if I did not pay for the fraudulent negative balance that I would be sent to collections. How is this legal? They need to do something about their resolution processes because this is not good business.
So after so many years and so many times,Paypal system is tremendously flawed to the point I do believe conducts fraudulent transactions. You ask with there system not to pay a company after cancelling with them a double reassurance that it won't happen I figured. But guess I someone missed the memo.Do not do business of any sort with PayPal,so much money wasted from there unscrupulous transactions enough is a enough. It's hard enough to live on fixed income even harder when there is company's like this doing what they do.
I just do not trust PayPal. I’ve done an enough transactions over a decade, and have found that 60% of my interactions have ended out of favor. It’s become the money transfer vehicle for scammers and other illicit ventures. Done.
poor customer service can hardly understand some of the people--requested level 2 support --after 20 min on the phone with represantitive, getting info i needed call was was cut off before they finished! Paypal too lazy and unconcerned to call me back soI have to waste another 30 min today to get additional infoAlso endless security checks on ccard si I just went to another2% cashback card
I filed a dispute for an item that was confirmed not I filed a dispute because the item wasn't authentic, but they denied it because they claimed they emailed me in the middle of the night and didn't receive a response. When I called them, they simply said it was my own fault for not replying to an overnight email. I've decided to pay off my balance and close this account for good, as I'm dissatisfied with business practices that seem to protect thieves and disadvantage the victims. It's disappointing, PayPal; I expected better.
If I could give zero stats I would. I’ve contacted customer support several times in order to close my account as I have no longer access to my phone number but they’ve been entirely unhelpful. I’m disappointed and angry at the level of service provided especially as there’s money involved. Absolutely do not recommend.
PayPal is the Worst Service Nowadays. They don’t have any live agent that you can talk directly but through a message system which add difficulty for solving any issue that you may want to help. Their customer service are unprofessional. They are banning accounts without any specific reason. There is no Geniune and Authenic way to directly contact PayPal. Stay away from Paypal. Ban PayPal Forever
I was hesitant to write a review. Given all the negative comments I’ve read I feel confident about writing mine. The company has confusing instructions. I’ve been trying to stop recurring orders. The instructions given in no way helped me find the page do so. When, after a very long time, I found what believed to be corrrct page I had to scroll one by one to see if this was a recurring. Some didn’t have a tab to cancel.I noticed that a company had charged nearly 3 times I had paid years before. I questioned this and received a response telling me they did nothing wrong.
I don't know what's wrong with these people, when I get a payment from a buyer this sit pending for 6 months and 1000 message for support time and no help, after that back this amount to the buyer I lose my item and my money I move 95% from my business to strip when you want to check this order you can make this in maximal 72 Hours how you said, but no you should wait 6 months every time.
After years I will give up this company. He does not protect his clients. It protects those who cheat. My recommendation is to avoid PayPal
The worst in the business! They lie about what you owe in fees. I used them before and changed merchants.
I can't believe that PayPal is successful in Germany since it's absolutely terrible. There is no english option, there are unnecessary constraints placed on users (e.g. requiring phone login even though you have auth MFA enabled), terrible customer support, and they still use outdated SEPA transfers to process transactions.PayPal DE is absolutely stuck in the past.Whoa, and then PayPal continued to debit sending my money into the void. It will be nearly a month before I get this settled. Once settled, I will delete my German PayPal account, absolute garbage.
After years of use i had a refund made to my paypal account from a cheater connected to a purchase at Kleinanzeigen. After the Deaktivation i forwarded the information they wanted and i was told by an Advisor that it will be sent to the backoffice.2 Days later i get the information that my account was disabled forever and that is because i did Payments "they can not support."The Review can be changed if they review the decision as requested.Otherwise this is a disappointing example of how little they care about the life they play with.I never had any issues with my account and now it was disabled and i don't even know what i supposedly did wrong..Nearly all Payments are done via their service every month for years and then one is just thrown out.Update: After i was informed the Account was disabled forever i wrote an email and a complaint. One day later i was asked to upload more information which i did.Now the Account was re-activated.Thanks to the Advisor who checked the deactivation.
Paypal ist total not serios and more than this unprofessional. I am customer at PayPal since 2012. Because I payed every time just with my credit card instead my current bank debit card and i do not have a history regarding debit card I do not get a credit. Their condition ist to pay 6 month and then to get the credit. Is unprofessionell and hilarious.
THIS IS THE WORT PAYMENT METHOD. DONT USE THIS AS A COMPANY, THEY WILL FREEZE YOUR TRANSACTIONS (AND DON`T HELP YOU)
Paypal is unreasonable and unreliable. This year PayPal blocked our account, blocked our savings several times for different reasons and without giving us a heads up. A clarification of the matter means only: Until the next time. For business use of Paypal, we can only advise against.
They support scam sellers because they are generating money for them, I have multiple valid cases with PayPal but it got denied because, well, I am not making them enough money, so STAY AWAY from PayPal.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too.
