Is payneglasses.com Legit?

I have been in the optical industry for 40 years. I was an Optometric Technician, Optician, worked in a lens manufacturing lab and ended my career as a branch manager for a company manufacturing lens blanks that were distributed to labs to complete the glasses making process. I know enough to say Payne Glasses provides their customers with an incredible spot-on precise pair of glasses at an extremely fair price. I have ordered over 15 pairs for friends, family and myself. I have never been disappointed.

Have purchased 3 pairs of glasses so far, great price, great construction, see better through these than the ones I purchased at Eyemart express

I love love love my new glasses! I've been needing bifocals for a while (vanity-based procrastination) so these are my first progressive lenses. I totally love the options for beginner progressives - these will not be my last glasses from Payne!!

Everything about it from ordering to receiving my glasses was so simple. I love my glasses. I have tri focals and they are perfect. I promise you won't be sorry. I will be ordering more.

Ended up out over $300 even after proving the glasses were made wrong! An ACTUAL optometrist gave me written proof! Payne was off by +.25 which is a huge difference when you're trying to SEE. Payne basically told me "Too bad. We remade them for you, it's not our problem you still can't see out of them." Avoid this company if you want your lenses made correctly! Cute frames aren't good enough! Payne is too cowardly to even reply to my emails with proof from a REAL Doctor that shows how badly off they made the lenses. Really bad company here!!!!UPDATE: Payne replied here to try to look like a caring company, yet they have NOT contacted me nor offered a refund. I don't care that you "remade the glasses four times." That just shows how awful your lab is, they were WRONG 4 TIMES. A full refund is the only acceptable resolution at this point, I had my glasses made at a REPUTABLE outlet. I need to SEE!!! But saying you reached out to resolve this with me? ABSOLUTE LIE.

Customer support went above and beyond to help me process my exchange and make sure the lens types were right for my prescription and the glasses would be a good fit. Unexpected and very much appreciated.

After a really bad experience with the glasses vendor I had used for about 10 years, I was a little nervous about ordering online again, but I cannot afford what the local opticians charge. I can only say I AM THRILLED WITH MY GLASSES. I will order from Payne again (probably sooner rather than later, as I have a dog who loves me so much that if I forget and the glasses are within her reach, she chews them, lol). I have bought multiple pairs of glasses from this company. They are are well worth the money I spent. Something happened at my job and my glasses were broken three days after I got them. Customer support was quick to help me AND EXTREMELY COURTEOUS!! I am currently waiting on a replacement pair. 10/10 recommend.

My mom had been suggesting I give PG a try for my transitions. I just got my new glasses in today and I can say I am quite pleased! They fit perfect, look exactly as expected, they came in a day ahead of schedule, and I saved money by NOT using insurance for my transitions! :D Thank you so much Payne Glasses!

After USPS didn't properly secure delivery of my glasses and they were never received, Payne sent a duplicate pair grais! WIll always order from Payne.. next order sunglasses!

I have gotten 2 pair of glasses from Payne and I'm more than happy to say they are great will buy my glasses from them from now on they are perfect

I am totally pleased with Payne glasses. My new go to for prescription glasses. They go above & beyond. I wasn't happy with the frames I had chosen & when I received them I wasn't happy. Fantastic company! I have been using them for years and I refer all of my family and friends. They ha e a great selection and the prices are absolutely incredible! I have honestly purchased a total of 17 pairs of eyeglasses over the years for myself, my husband, and my daughter. I wear Progressives and I have really bad vision. You can not beat the price and quality. I highly recommend Payne for all your eyeglass needs.

I would not recommend ordering from this company. I ordered a pair of glasses with transition lens. The tint began flaking off in spots on the lens. But I did have them several months, and was going to order new pair when I got a new script. Order another pair with them and the tint started coming off within 2 weeks. They did not replace them. I will definitely find another trust worthy company to do my business with.

Simply great, I ordered 2 pairs of prescription bifocal glasses and one of them was a sunglasses. They both were awesome when i tried them on enclosed in a perfect glasses cases and wrapped up!. During the process they asked me to send them my face picture as well as my physical prescription and they did a brilliant job.

I have no complaints about Payne Glasses. As a matter fact, they have become my go to site for buying glasses online after another site I’d been buying glasses from for over 10 years closed down. The prices are incredible, especially for progressives, with reasonably priced add-ons like anti-reflective and blue light blue, and a ton of options for the lenses. Be mindful of the return/exchange policy though which isn’t as generous as others. I took the glasses I bought from Payne to my ophthalmologist (at a national chain) because I thought the progressive heights of my lenses were “off.” But he told me the lenses were perfectly crafted. I’ll buy from Payne over and over.

Payne always gives you great looking glasses at a fraction of what your optometrist can do. Get a number of pairs, sunglasses, yellow night-driving glasses, whatever you like. You wil still spend less than for one pair where you had your eyes examined!

The glasses I received had the wrong prescription. There were days of hassle and I finally had to purchase an extended warranty to be able to return them, which felt like a scam. I had purchased multiple pairs from Payne prior to this that were fine. But when they made a mistake, the treatment I received definitely didn't feel like I was a customer of any value. I ended up with glasses from Zenni that were perfect.
