paul-richard.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives paul-richard.com a low trust score on the platform: 19.2. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: New. Suspicious. Dubious.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 19.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to paul-richard.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the New. Suspicious. Dubious. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning paul-richard.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between paul-richard.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of paul-richard.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of paul-richard.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. paul-richard.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether paul-richard.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether paul-richard.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, paul-richard.com.

I’ll use it this weekend. It looks to be made extremely well. High quality leather, zippers, snaps and sewing. All top quality. Great craftsmanship.Brian
Disingenuous FB adverts, these are obviously cheap bags made in China and copy/photos all created by AI. Suspect (but 99% sure) the the 5-star reviews are fake as they were all submitted at the same time.
Got an advert for this on facebook, and it initially looked great and considered buying. BUY - Web site up for less than 2 months and no contact details at all! Free international shipping for a one man shop? All very suspicious - Beware when buying.
Fake page fake person Chinese crap even the early positive trust pilot reviews are fake
While not an actual purchaser (the ‘Closing Down Sale’ simply came up on my feed) - you simply have to apply a degree of commonsense. This one ‘craftsman’ was able to produce this enormous volume of bags lol. Reminds of hat other semi scam ‘De Ruchi’ (excuse the spelling) leather beds. Very expensive. All the marketing has this very distinguished European looking gentleman implying point of origin. Actually simply a stock photo - the sales staff are literally all Chinese lol.
Be careful of FAKE positive reviews below. This a Chinese CRAP scam. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. TOTAL LIES. I have asked my bank to deny the charges. FACEBOOK SUCKS!,!!! No way to easily report this misleading stuff. Mark Cocksuckerburg probably gets a kickback
Almost purchased off the paul-Richard’s.com website. Decided to check if he was legit. The 75% of trust pilot 5* reviews, all posted within 1 week by 1st review people assures me that this is a webscam. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!
I have not actually purchased. But just looking at it is obviously an AI generated image with the standard cookie cutter story, likely chatgpt written, and the store is identical to 100 other drop shipping stores. Not saying people shouldn't buy. Just know what you are getting into.
The attention to detail on my messenger bag is unmatched. It’s rugged enough for everyday use yet refined in every way. Couldn’t be happier!”
I was looking for a reliable travel bag that also had a stylish appearance. Paul Richard’s duffle bag has exceeded all my expectations.
I can’t say enough about the durability and design of my Paul Richard backpack. It’s masculine, sophisticated, and practical. This bag’s going to last me a lifetime.”
As a frequent traveler, I needed something that looked good and was functional. This bag fits the bill. Classy and practical. I get compliments everywhere I go.”
I wanted a durable, stylish bag that I could carry every day, and Paul Richard’s messenger bag is exactly that. The craftsmanship is remarkable. Truly impressed!
I’ve bought from other brands, but none match the quality of Paul Richard. I’m blown away by the durability and detail of my new messenger bag.”
The duffle is perfect for short trips. Rugged, stylish, and spacious. Highly recommended for anyone who travels frequently and wants a quality bag.”
Paul Richard has done it right. My backpack is stylish, comfortable, and fits my lifestyle perfectly. This is real craftsmanship.”
The messenger bag is sleek, durable, and ideal for carrying everything I need. It’s clear it’s crafted with expertise. Very pleased with this purchase.”
It’s clear that Paul takes his craft seriously. This bag feels solid, authentic, and has a classic look that works everywhere.”
This duffle is amazing for business trips and weekend getaways. It’s stylish and functional. Can’t go wrong with Paul Richard.”
I ordered the messenger bag, and it’s great for carrying my laptop and documents. High-quality leather and beautifully made. I’m a customer for life!”

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

How To Recognize Red Flags Online

Last but not least, here is another must-watch video you don't want to miss:

How To Protect Your Online Browsing From Installing Malware

We have two more powerful fraud prevention tools that you should know about. We've been asked over and over again about the most effective ways to stay safe online. After testing several fraud prevention products online, we could certainly say the winner is a browser extension called Guardio. It automatically blocks 100x more harmful websites than competitors and 10x more malicious downloads than any other security tool. It was tested and vetted by our Scam Detector team.

Guardio has over a million users, and while it is already affordable for the benefits it provides (just a few dollars a month), it covers up to 5 family members. For Scam Detector readers exclusively, Guardio offers a 20% discount this week. How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
  3. Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  4. Check this: They hide your online searches, which means you will get only organic search results without tracking and follow-up ads. For example, when you search for a flight, and the next time you look at the same search, the prices are higher. With Surfshark, this doesn't happen.

For the Black Friday promotion, Surfshark offers 86% off + up to 5 months free to Scam Detector readers. You can get the deal only this week HERE or by clicking the button below. stop third parties to track my device button

The price alerted me right away, to a “too good to be good” item

BEWARE! I fell for this—receive almost daily emails about how the bag I ordered is “almost ready” but not actually shipped. Hopefully the worst that happens is just that I lose my $$$. I know better, but needed a gift and product looked good. I should have checked first!!! BEWARE!

  3. T.Gin

I received EXACTLY WHAT I ORDERED! not sure about all the negative reviews but I would assume that they are just people being asses....It took a little longer than expected but what I received is exactly what I expected it to be and exceptional quality

Creating something meaningful for you has been an absolute joy. [uh, okayyyy] ======================================================== I was looking for Christmas presents for the family and an FB ad for \"Paul Richard - Handcrafted Bags\" caught my eye. The website starts with: \"I’m Paul, and I’ve spent the last 27 years perfecting the art of leathercraft. Each piece is lovingly made with the finest materials, just for you.\" Paul\'s story that this was \"My Last Christmas Sale Ever!\" got my attention as did his \"About Paul\" page. [START OF SCAM-BAIT STORY] \"Hi, I’m Paul, and I’m thrilled you’ve discovered my work. Since 1997, I’ve been handcrafting leather goods with passion, care, and a deep commitment to quality. What began as a hobby grew into a lifelong journey, where each bag I create tells a story of tradition and craftsmanship. For over 27 years, I’ve poured my heart into every piece, knowing that my bags would find their way into the hands of those who value timeless design and true artisanal work. A Heartfelt Farewell As I prepare to close my workshop, it’s with a mixture of nostalgia and excitement. This journey has been filled with highs, challenges, and the joy of connecting with people like you, who appreciate what I’ve crafted. Though this chapter is ending, new adventures await, even as I say goodbye to this one. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. Your support has meant everything to me. As a token of my gratitude, this farewell sale is your final opportunity to own one of my bags—a piece of my story—as I step forward into the next phase of my life. [END OF SCAM-BAIT STORY] So, I read all the info on the site including the FAQs and policies. I noted that it would take a few days to make my items. The FAQ said, \"Since each bag is made with love and care, please allow 3-4 business days for processing. After your bag has been carefully crafted and inspected, it will be shipped directly to you.\" This was okay since Christmas was still a few weeks away. So, I placed an order for a few items for a total of several hundreds of dollars. But the \"going out of business\" and \"last Christmas sale ever\" sale prices looked great. To my surprise, just five hours after the order confirmation email I received a \"your order is on the way\" email for each of the items on my order and a tracking number. And the origination is China. How do I reconcile the FAQ \"After your bag has been carefully crafted and inspected, it will be shipped\" and getting \"your order is on the way\" and shipment information in less than 5 hours from ordering? Fishy. So I start doing some searches. You know ... is Paul Richard leather a scam? Found MANY stories similar to mine. Paul is not real. He doesn\'t have a leather good shop. It\'s not going out of business. This is actually some drop-shipper out of China. Ouch. I research \"Paul\'s\" cancellation policy. \"Cancellations are valid 24 hours after ordering.\" Phew. I\'ve got time. I initiate a cancellation before 24 hours has expired. I get an email response. \"After carefully reviewing your request, I regret to inform you that your order has already been fulfilled and processed. Unfortunately, at this stage, we’re unable to cancel the order.\" I check the tracking information. Nothing has shipped yet. The shipper has only received the shipment information. Nothing has left the country. I persist. I hear nothing back. I contact my credit card company and enter a dispute. I provide all the information and correspondence. They start an investigation. NOW I hear back. \"We are writing to inform you that your recent order has been successfully canceled, and the refund has been processed.\" And it was, I got almost all my money back except they kept $4.95 for \"Shipping Insurance\" charge even though nothing had been shipped. Whatever. TIME PASSES Two weeks later I get another email from \"Paul\" \"I see that your tracking status is stuck on \'Info Received.\' This happened because I was waiting on a delayed shipment of leather materials from my supplier.\" Uh, okay. And a few days after that, \"Paul\" emails me again. \"I hope your new bag has exceeded your expectations! Creating something meaningful for you has been an absolute joy.\" LEARN FROM MY LESSON: * Be SKEPTICAL about those targeted ads. * Do your \"is this \'insert name\' a scam?\" searches FIRST. * Protect your personal information at all costs.

Its a Scam Paul Richards was a leather worker from the 1800\'s these bags are made by children I got a small note inside the bag that was 3 months late saying help us we children.

  6. Jon Alan Gammon

Howdy Kids,,, ordered 6 items to understand. They were tolerable in quality as in a machine enjoyed making them. Clearly not made by one man or one small shop and very very interesting if he / they had so much left over inventory .... that is a lot of $ tied up in stock. Minimal leather. Minimal stitching (all straight) Minimal in all respects but would look good to an unsuspecting individual. The shipping and messages made no sense whatsoever as others have noted.. The \"i like it\" reviews above are clearly not written by random real customers. (Check the styling) The uniformity and single shipment from multiple locations in the same type packaging with the machine label with etc / with etc. All kind of amusing... no very very amusing. This was an excellent primer for me of the state of web shopping. Had the exact same type experience on ETSY. Descent stuff, but not exceptional... clearly line made by general industrial labor using machines well........... I have wanted to support crafts people in the USA and elsewhere where there is a need... however !!! Paul Richard and Etsy have convinced me to never use the web for such good heartnedness......Neither is \"truth\" in advertising. -- frankly one just wants to go on and on and on repeating this in different ways to get the point across. Go learn about quality craftsmanship... you can then be amused when you meet the people behind the many scams.
