Is partycity.com Legit?

I Went To The Wheaton Location & I Ordered Balloons To Get Delivered To My Home 20 Days Before my Daughter Party & They Were Extremely Late & They Did Not Come Until 30 Minutes Before The Party Ended ! I Would Never Shop With This Location Again, They Are Giving Me A Refund Due To Everything Going Wrong !!!!!

Customer service is terrible.Party city messed up my address and shipped it to the wrong location, claimed it was ups fault but refused to refund me or replace the item I never received. I had to open a chargeback dispute with my bank. I will never purchase another item from them again because they ruined my son’s first birthday.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The party city in Northbrook IL is horrible and the manager Mark is rude and condescending! I have never been treated so rudely in all my life.

missing 1/2 of my order ( of course the themed balloons that made the bouquet). Said they'd only give me 50% back - It was embarrassing to show up and see a little bunch of cheap balloons that I paid $72 dollars to buy and deliver - of course they didn't refund delivery fee. New York City store

Wish I read these reviews before I purchased from here. They messed up on graduation announcements I ordered. I didn't realize it till later and they told me that the 30-day ran out and I was only 2 days shy. And they wouldn't provide a refund. So please be careful ordering anything from here.

I ordered online and got the worst customer service because I wanted to return an item. I will not shop at Party City again. Their customer service is terrible, and I will not recommend them to anyone. I am a dissatisfied customer and very disappointed in the service I received. I ordered some prints online, but they came a day late. I did not use the product and will never use their service again. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering...I placed an order for five balloon bouquets, one for each of my grandkids (same household) four of whom celebrate their birthdays in August. The order was placed on August 1st. Today I received an email cancelling the order because it was too "high risk". I don't even understand what that means. I spent 1/2 hour on hold until I hung up, then went to the website only to wait again for "chat" which never materialized. Thanks Party City for disappointing five little kids. You suck.

Party City did not honor CertificateParty City was sued in court and customers were awarded compensation in various forms. Most were awarded a $9.00 certificate to use towards merchandise and in the terms of the settlement it stated there was no expiration date to use the certificate. I tried to use mine at the beginning of June 2024 and was told they had "closed" out the "system" on these and they would no longer honor it. I explained that there was no expiration date per the settlement and that when these were first "issued" during Covid that I was not doing any partying and that after that I had part of my lung removed so again I was not doing any partying. The were firm in that they would not honor the certificate or issue me a new one and could only offer me whatever there current "discount" might be. The discount was much less than the $9.00 I should have been able to use as I was not purchasing $50-90.00 of merchandise in order to get the same amount with the discount they offered. If the certificate had indicated a time that it would expire, I could understand there stance, but when it specifically said "No Expiration Date", I was very frustrated and upset with there stand on not honoring it. I will never purchase anything from them from here on since they don't honor their word to their customers.

Worst In store customer service Ever !!!! Don’t spend your money there . Unfriendly, unprofessional staff, manager at Vega Blvd , Mississauga Party City store . They don’t even bother to check stock- replying like robots we are sold out.After waiting half an hour for the manager- we found the balloon without any apology. Do not go there !!!

I shopped Party City in Chillicothe, OH today and had 3 wonderful employees give me exceptional service. I was greeted by a gentleman who greeted me with Welcome to the Party❗Then he kindly took me to the amazing selection of NY Eve party goods. He helped me find an extra headband. When I checked out 2 young ladies were so helpful and even offered to help me get my ballons to the car and offered to take my cart back into the store. They thanked me and were so delightful. Wishing everyone at Paper City a Hapoy New Year❗You all know customer service with a smile😊

Wow. The reviews are horrible for party city. I had a job interview and there registers weren't working and I could see the gal was struggling. She kept saying it. When I finally got to my interview the manager walked 10 feet in front of me and very little conversation. She looked down at my feet and it made me nervous. Personally I knew it was her when I saw her. Pancake makeup and false lashes and her blouse was tied in a knot right under her boob's she was displaying. She said she would let me know today,but if I didn't call in a week. We'll that tells me don't bother. Employers have this crap attitude don't call us. Maybe we will call you. And other people don't bother. They only hire younger kids.

Ordered a halloween costume for school dress up. Delivery was due the day before the event. They use UPS (who are useless) and their website/tracking system does not work. One week later it still has not arrived. Party city refunded my delivery cost but won't refund actual item until UPS turn up (whenever that may be) and I refuse the item. Shocking service.

Very disappointed, still hasint arrived after i complained, partys over anyways, couldint tell me where my package was, was supposed to arrive 26th January and its now 8th February. Also i ordered early so it would arrive due to covid and stuff. Took days to get back to me. Also replied with a automatic message.

Once this company has your money they have a don't care attitude. Customer service is basically non existent unless you are placing an order.Finding any joy in dealing with this company is like drawing blood from a stone.My order was due for delivery TODAY and it has not even updated from "pending shipment".If you want to be guaranteed your goodies for Halloween to be delivered in time. Don't order them from Party City

In preparation for a party I had ordered bundles of balloons for pickup. I arrived an hour after the pickup time and my balloons were not ready. There were at least 6 employees at the front of the store and only one appeared to be actively working while the others were chatting. I went into line to pickup the balloons and the associate at the counter was waving in other customers that had balloons pick ups in front of me. Took 40 minutes to get the balloons, wasn't happy.

I had a very bad experience at the Everett Party City at Everett Mall. Very rude and unprofessional employees and poor customer service. Never will go back to Party City.

I just love the party city located at 815 Hutchinson River Plaza in the Bronx due to 2 particular employees, Gloria and Manager Ken Roy. These 2 wonderful people are so compassionate and professional. Because of the kindness of Gloria and Ken Roy I will definitely continue to shop there and refer my family and friends. Worst, online store ever. I purchased helium to be delivered by 3rd September (paid extra for express delivery), it’s now 9th September and still no helium. I have emailed three times to be told that the order was resend on 5th September as there was an issue with the original order that was sent by UPS. It’s now with HERMES and still no delivery. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING AS I BELIEVE NOTHING HAS BEEN SENT AS THERE IS NO TRACKING INFORMATION AVAILABLE FROM EITHER UPS OR HERMES

I ordered some cocktail glasses from party City in Ireland and was told they'd be delivered 9 days later. Emailed the following day to cancel the order. Got no acknowledgement and the glasses arrived 4 days later.Emailed to ask why the order wasn't cancelled and to date have received no reply.Disappointing customer service.

Jim the manager is always very helpful and cheerful! He as well as other employees and managers at that location consistently offer excellent customer service. They seem to really care about your event and getting you what you would like. When comparing shopping Amazon or other stores this is the place. They have the best product and price as well as great customer service!Thank-you Party City!* Found a beautiful selection of candy for my daughters wedding as well as lovely napkins and other decor.
