Is panthur.com.au Legit?

Joe the supervisor was theworst person imaginable in customer service to speak with about a problem.

- Web Management Interface us outdated and poorly designed.- Domain Management processes are slow and stupid. If a domain is transferring away, the owner receives no notification from Panthur to be able to Confirm or Deny the action - it is silently accepted by Panthur (or their wholesaler) and then they sit on their thumbs for 5-7 business days before performing the transfer. If the delay was to allow the owner to dispute the transfer, then it would make sense, but as it stands it does nothing other than delay everything just to delay or punish you?Avoid these guys. Stick with the big established players like Dreamhost.

I switched my husband's business to Panthur, based on a recommendation from a friend. I wanted to deal with a company that could handle web and email hosting, as well as hosting our domain - a one-stop shop. Panthur's tech support were very helpful with the transfer. I love the Panthur Member's Dashboard and the visiblity of all our services. cPanel is great too, very easy to upload and edit files. I'll be sticking with Panthur!

Panthur have rapid, in-country support. Over the many years they have hosted my domains, websites and mail, I cannot remember any downtime. They are the two things you want from your web host: support that is on the front foot, and no down time. Their interfaces and billing are seamless as well. I haven't thought of changing hosts for over a decade.

Recently moved from SlowDaddy to Panthur. Everything worked seamless, 1st time. Webmail response is almost instant compared to 20s plus waiting to load a new email with my previous provider. The website back-end setup via the dashboard was easy though different to the usual. Server response seems consistently fast and had no other issues for the 1st month with Panthur. Hope it stays that way. Good job!

100% Stealthy Performance No news is good news when it comes to hosting - it just works all the time. Panthur has never dropped the ball with our hosting and never asked us how it is going (until now) - first and last time.The fact that Panthur is 100% Australian and locally hosted gives us peace of mind that we are contributing to our local economy.

The website speed is very slow and laggy. I had multiple websites hosted through them but cancelled them all except 1. Now because of slow site speed and very crappy customer service I’m moving to a cheaper and more reliable hosting provider. Since they got sold in the last 2 years everything has gone downhill.Don’t waste your money or time!

A local call centre and people that understand your problem and then fix it.I have had a number of provider's since 2000; most were good, other were too busy delivering eats but Panthur stands out as the best in 18 years. They also register the less common Top Level Domains like dot town.

Honestly, the best service anyone can ask for. Incredibly fast to respond and effective in getting my query sorted. 100% recommend!

WARNING - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!Panthur will send renewal invoices and once paid will not activate the product. They wait until the buyer contacts them and then they will send a second invoice demanding another payment. Yes, that does sound like extortion. Their contracts are written to eliminate their liability and the consumer has little to no protection from their conduct. Avoid. Find a legitimate provide. They are owned by same company as Crucial. Therefore, stay away from Cruicial too.

We resell Panthur hosting to over 50 clients and have done for many, many years. It has been flawless. I can't remember there ever being outages during business hours and their response to support queries is super fast. I highly recommend Panthur.

We have used Panthur for reseller web hosting for our clients for years. Service and speed was fantastic at first. When the sale went through a few years ago the service dipped but came back - however, sadly, all our client's websites have been continually reported as slow lately and Panthur refuse to take any responsibility, to the point we are going to need to migrate the whole lot. Shame.

Panthur are the most hassle-free IT associates I have. No unnecessary emails. No worrisome delays on response time. My support issues are properly understood & the answers provided sometimes even help with other IT providers' issues where these have failed to grasp my problem. If they make a mistake, they rapidly fix it. When I make a mistake, Panthur bears as much burden of correction as possible. I was worried the service would deteriorate when ownership moved overseas, but it has been seamless. If I have any 'complaint' at all, it's that I wish they'd remind me occasionally to check in & see their ongoing improvements!

I have been with quite few ISPs over the years and Panthur is far and away the most responsive, effective and reasonably priced by far. They Actually " set the bar" that others could do well to try and emulate.They are knowledgeable, open and helpful and readily contactable. Their service is excellent and I have never experienced a glitch or downtime in the years I have been with them hosting and managing my web sites.

I tried a lot of (highly recommended) Australian web hosting companies but none of them measured up and I almost gave up hope. But I kept digging and this one name kept coming up - Panthur. So I took the plunge and gave them a go and I'm glad I did. Their services are solid, their customer service is great and I'm really happy to use them for all of my Australian web services, and I even recommend them to my own clients as well.
