Safe.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this high score? We came up with the 91.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to oxfam.org.uk's industry. The algorithm detected no high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Trustworthy. Quality. Safe. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning oxfam.org.uk, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between oxfam.org.uk and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of oxfam.org.uk. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of oxfam.org.uk, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. oxfam.org.uk is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether oxfam.org.uk has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether oxfam.org.uk boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, oxfam.org.uk.

OXFAM FULHAM ROAD. Don’t go in if you are not a KAREN like the staff. Anything wrong with you (like cancer) that makes you look out of the ‘norm’ and you’ll be KAREN-STALKED around the store.
After spending ding up to £300 per month on books I do not deserve to be humiliated by rude, ignorant and abusive staff. SHAME ON THIS COMPANYWEDNESDAY 21 AUGUSTTo RobFar too late for this as I told your company everything and gave a deadline for you area manager to email me with a direct number to call. This did not happen so media intrution has taken place against this company and I will cause an amount of problems to you as you have caused to me
I frequent my local Oxfam shops and their online store, and I'm consistently pleased with the quality and prices of their stock; I'm a huge advocate for buying second-hand and donating old, unwanted items, and charity shops are a huge reason why. Thank you for all the work you do!Recently bought some old jewellery and a summer dress from their online shop - they were shipped speedily and arrived in brilliant condition.
I sign up for the monthly donations, but when I have called them up to cancel it they were still stealing money from my account afterwards. Now it is a third payment stolen from my account. Avoid like a plague. Found out that less then 5% of our donations actually goes to someone in need. Everything else is their overly inflated "cost".Avoid it!!!
The Oxfam shop near to us is unfailingly helpful in taking our unused stuff, and letting us know how much Gift Aid it has generated. The staff are great, especially the manager, and the organisation has made a difference throughout the world in working against poverty, although there is so much more to be done.
Oxfam staff were fundraising door to door on my street. The two gentlemen were very polite and curteous, clearly passionate about the cause they were raising money for. Marc Baffoe-Bonnie and Nuur Hassan are an asset to Oxfam. Keep up the good work :)
Great shops, great charity. If you're complaining stuff is 'overpriced' just remember spending where the extra quid is going. The fact OXFAM have bad reviews but every company i've ever sat on hold for 3 hours with have 5 stars... Something fishy goin on with how these companies manufacture trustpilot reviews.
I volunteer at Oxfam shop and regularly buy stuff from the shop. Oxfam makes the best out of every last penny they make to do good in this world. The ops budget is incredibly low and all the shops run on 100% unpaid volunteers to guarantee your donation or support for Oxfam only goes to those in need. I'm surprised to see many unhappy customer reviews. Please remember this is a charity and due to the lack of regular full time staff it's normal that many things go wrong. Please be patient and remember, when you shop at Oxfam not only do you get good deals but you also help hungry and sick innocent children and helpless mothers. Be kind
I had a visit from Anisha Begum and Isabelle Allegne, who door knocked asking for support for Gaza children on behalf of Oxfam. They were very professional and friendly in their presentation. It was good to know that such calibre of people work for Oxfam with enthusiasm, excitement and commitment. Both my wife and myself were happy with their visit.
Just had a visit from Fahad, who was very impressive and had a friendly, amiable approach. I've made a small donation because of him. Thank you Fahad and keep doing this amazing work, you really made a difference!
Brian and yoonis visited us today and while we couldn’t do a direct debit we have both made a one off donation. They were both charming and informative. We enjoyed our chat.
My husband has just received, completely out of the blue, emails and letter from Oxfam thanking him for supporting Oxfam. He has not signed up to support them, it is not a charity we would donate to, for various reasons. He has not donated to or purchased from their shops either. The letter is requesting he signs up for Gift Aid on his donations - the ones that he has NOT made.
I have visited Oxfam shop in New Malden on regular basis and have been impressed with the staff’s altitude, the range of items and the way the shop is run and managed. There is always plenty of good quality items at very fair prices. The shop is always clean and welcoming place.
I love to visit the Oxfam Store in New Malden High Street. There are several charity shops in this area, and I always find this shop the most inviting, friendliest of them all. There is always a good turn over of saleable items at very reasonable prices, and always nicely presented. A big shout out to Rod the manager, and also to Kathy on the till. People seem to forget that people like Kathy are volunteer workers, and do not get paid for all their hard work. Keep up the good work!!
I am Louth based in Lincolnshire, & I am going to STAND up for oxfam as a charity shop, I have been volunteering there for some time, once you get a bad review, no one doesn't want to go in to that stop again or any oxfam shops. If you was to come to the Lincolnshire shops we are more polite, please give us a 2nd chance as a charity. The pricing depends on the make of the items that is why it could be expensive, just ask a volunteer, & by law all tickets should be kept on the item if returning but sometimes we ( the volunteers) can use our discretion & give you refund. Hope this helps you all
Oxfam Bloomsbury Bookshop helped me with a large donation of books -- 10 boxes and 2 carrier bags. I am 89 and need to downsize. Jacoba organised a collection at my convenience and couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. It was a really positive experience despite the fact I was sad to see my books go.
If only I'd known how useless their customer service is. For an organisation such as this one, you'd think a refund for returned items (sourced by Oxfam) wouldn't take that long. It has so far taken 4 weeks. I've now resorted to a PayPal dispute which they've told me I must remove to make the refund process quicker... Erm no!Ridiculous company. Never again.
Just having a browse online I'm absolutely disgusted at the prices, they are selling second hand mens Jeans (with buttons missing in some cases) for a higher price then they were new 10 years ago. They are either completely out of touch with prices or deliberately trying to rip people off. I fear it's the latter. An absolute con of a set up , charity or not.
I recently purchased a DVD set using the online shop. Advertised as 'as new' I was happy to pay a premium over other possibilities. The DVDs arrived fairly quickly and the DVDs were in good condition. However the item obviously had been donated from a smokers' home evident by the smell and yellowing on the case. Dissappointing the description was not accurate as I could only believe what was stated.
I received a quick reply to my email from Oxfam. I'm glad to be able to have the opportunity to support an organisation/charity that is trying to help & improve this dreadful situation in Israel where so many innocent people are being caught up in the retaliations. The donation system was extremely easy to use.

“Five star service with extra.”
I ordered five books that were advertised as in good condition, the books that arrived were in excellent condition and looked brand new. The books arrived earlier than expected and were well packaged. My order also came with a surprise of two chocolates, these made me smile and really made my day. I would definitely recommend this site and will be a returning customer myself. Tip for consumers:As a first time customer I was a little worried about quality, but was more than pleasantly surprised. Products used:books Service Value Shipping Quality

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
