Is overclockers.co.uk Legit?

First time buying from Overclockers as I normally use a combination of Amazon and Ebuyer for parts. Best price available on a Antec C8 curve case so decided to give these guys a go. Ordered Friday night for standard delivery, item arrived Sunday morning via DPD. Very impressed with speed and item received in perfect condition. Already gone back on and ordered a Lian Li LCD fan and will be returning for more parts for my build. Highly recommended

I had an issue with graphics card it was sent back to manufacturer and had been held up by the manufacturer (not overclockers fault) I called to ask what was happening, and I spoke to Lewis W. He popped me on a quick hold and came back to confirm they would just send me a new card the next day. Lewis w. He was exceptional, he was prompt, calm and collected and explained what he was doing so i never felt like I was clueless of the process I was being guided through

Works brilliantly out of the box, steady 60 fps on forza horizon 5, elden ring, and ck3, and it can even run teardown with only minimal stuttering! Would absolutely order from here again!

Great launch price on 9800X3D. With unprecedented demand and hold ups at uk customs the order was delayed a few days. There wasn’t any feedback on the order eta however the forums were very good at managing expectations. I would definitely recommend them as I think they did the best the could and definitely could have charged £20 more like most other etailers did.

Got a 9800X3D from here, didn't raise prices like others sites. Contacted support and they upgraded my delivery from 7 working days to next working day at no extra cost. Thank you OC! Very reliable company, posted updates on their forums.

I have been dealing with Overclockers now for a fair few years , and on matters of gaming and PC s wouldn't really think of looking anywhere until I'd visited their website first ....very efficient , fantastic web site , very fair if there's an issue , if it exists and it's relevent , they will stock it, and to top it all , you can phone or E-mail them AND THEY ANSWER YOU ...PROMPTLY .....for me the best out there Reg

Placed an order after 3pm on a Saturday with standard next day delivery on the following Tuesday since it was after cut off. Package arrived the next day! Two days earlier then expected. Not sure who to thank OCUK or DPD but I was impressed.

I received the wrong item (a monitor) after placing an order on Tuesday, November 19, and requesting same-day delivery because the delay disrupted my work. Despite this, no effort was made to expedite the replacement, and I still haven’t received it. The only response I get is, "We are working on it." This was my first order, and it will be my last due to the lack of professionalism.

I wanted to upgrade the GPU in my gaming system purchased from Overclockers 2 years ago. I opened a web ticket to seek advise before purchasing. I was advised to upgrade the PSU (which I know to be true) and that there would be some bottleneck from the CPU (also rue) - but that the GPU would work fine. This was very helpful and I placed an order which was delivered next day. I will order a new CPU soon to complete the upgrade.

Ordered a 45" monitor at 3pm and it was delivered at 0930 the next day, with no delivery charge. The price of the monitor was similar to other vendors, I have nothing to complain about, 5 stars.

I purchased a PC from them, and when I realised I lacked storage space, they talked me through various options to help resolve it. Eventually, I agreed the best choice in my scenario was for them to install a new hard drive under warranty into my existing case (which was a very tight fit), which they have done a brilliant job with. A very happy customer with an excellent gaming PC, which now has a huge amount of storage.

Delivery very prompt (despite opting for the slower option). Price I paid for the item was a bargain too! Have bought quite a few things from them now and always reliable.

“Terrible Company”

The new RX470 Nitro On Thursday night as it said in large letters Order now for Saturday delivery. Checked emails Sat a.m. to see what time card was arriving to find out that it wasnt actually coming today and would in fact be arriving Monday. Rang customer services who seemed to find it amusing, I didnt admittedly notice the * at the side of the Sat delivery option but on questioning the guy he admitted that he fended off many many calls on this subject, all the time towing the company line that it was my fault I didnt read the small print. He admitted that his superiors new of the issue and did nothing about the confusion as "it is clear enough" well obviously it isn't clear enough if hundreds of ppl are making the same mistake. Will never use this company again

“Not Transparent”

Placed an order and been trying to cancel as told over a week later out of stock. Used their WebNote facility and called them. Still not received any reply or confirmation if order has been cancelled. Tried searching for a real e-mail address for them so that I have a record, alas this is a typical response: You have sent an email to *******@overclockers.co.uk, we are sorry but this email inbox is not used. If you have received a reply to a webnote, please reply to that or if you have a new question please complete the form at https://www.overclockers.co.uk/webnotes Why would a reputable trader not provide a means of sending a trackable e-mail? Maybe they have something to hide - really bad customer service.

I've used this website many times in the past. Good prices (generally) and I've always been very happy with my purchases. Can't comment on customer service as I've never needed to contact them.

Shockingly bad customer service, they provide you with items they don't test and then don't let you return them as well as trying ot charge you money for the prvilege. Avoid at all costs

“Very disappointing”

Avoid. They used to be great - now they're rubbish. System wasn't even tested. Ordered a high end system from them. A week after the order was placed I received an email telling me the motherboard I ordered was no longer in stock. Yet, it was marked instock for days on their website after the order was placed. After I contacted them I was informed that dozens of people had the same issue... and that they're unable to manage their own stock inventory. They replaced the motherboard with another - an Gigabyte Aorus Master. And I thought all would be good and continued with the order. However, when I received the system - turns out the AIO CPU cooler isn't "compatible" with the motherboard and there's no automatic fan control available unless you have an ASUS motherboard. Both the radiator and pump fan are set to maximum speed with no way to control via software at all. It's obvious the PC wasn't even tested before it was sent out, the thing is as loud as a jet engine. The standard system fans are also not able to be controlled by the bios - and are stuck on a high RPM setting. Needless to say I got onto support, sent it back for a refund and I will take all future business elsewhere to companies who actually know what they're doing. Seriously - looking for a high end system then get it built elsewhere - Overclockers.co.uk don't know what they're doing anymore. Now I have to wait weeks for a refund - because they're just as incompetent at doing that as building systems.
