Is outdoorplay.com Legit?

I have purchased multiple items for my kayaking obsession from Outdoorplay. From water gloves to towing ropes. My best purchase so far has been the NRS Women's Paddle Wetshoes (size 10). These shoes were great for kayaking. They fit my wide feet well and kept the water out. They were easy to walk in and felt comfortable while kayaking for hours. A bonus is that they zipped over the bottom part of my wetsuit without feeling too bulky. Would definitely recommendOutdoorplay offers competitive prices, fast shipping, and they sell top brand quality products. Outdoorplay will always be my goto company for my outdoor needs.

I love my Patagonia midweight capilene top! It fit as anticipated and the color was as pictured. I love Patagonia’s quality and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another. Outdoorplay responded quickly to my order and I received my package in good condition. Its arrival date was also as anticipated. I would order from them again.

Fast, but not smart to pack a 3pcs paddle assembled as it cost an arm and a leg when shipped internationally. One of the 3 springs certainly did not pass a quality test as its hole does not allow the lock to pop through. I can easily fix it myself though

Both the dry bibs and the semi dry top fit great. Had to size up one size on the top. Very high quality and Ootdoorplay's customer service is fantastic. Not only did they run a quick exchange for a larger top very quickly but they were very helpful, friendly and even gave me an additional discount. They are a passionate company of kind people who love their products and treat their customers with a high level of courtesy and respect. I will definitely do business with them in the future!

Superb kit, missed out on the Limited Edition Maximus Centurion Rescue Vest during 2020. And I still scan ebay for a purchase of that vest occasionally. It is a notoriously good stern frame and the standard for the industry. I bought here because of favorable shipping. Outdoorplay.com does not charge an extra hundred dollars or more for oversize shipping. The item price is the same everywhere, but the shipping was fast and very reasonable/honest and reflects the true shipping costs or maybe even a bit better.

I purchased an Advanced Elements Air Volution 2 person Kayak, which I picked it up at the warehouse in Hood River, Oregon. Once home, I inflated it and am amazed at how solid and rigid boat like it is. The construction is impressive. To inflate the boat takes a short time t figure out, a bit of time and muscle power, but, once done the boat is tight abreast to go. There is a skew which should help keep it in track, and if it handles at all like similar boats should be excellent. Spring and improved health will tell.

My kiddo was in an adventure camp in the Boulder Mountains and was set to float the day stretch on the Salmon River below the Yankee Fork but she was having a tough time looking forward to a wet overcast afternoon. I showed up with her new dry suit and we saved the day.

Outdoor play rocks! I’ve purchased some important and expensive sea kayak gear from Them in the past year, my important thing being a kokotat drysuit. Absolutely love it. If that thing even had the smallest hole or malfunction I would have already died paddling in 42 degree waters of the upper Great Lakes. Got it quickly, in perfect condition on an easy payment plan so I appreciate being able to use this lifesaving gear all year long instead waiting or saving up. I will be back for more kayak gear. If you look at the bad reviews written for Outdoorplay it’s pretty easy to tell that these people have some serious emotional issues based their wordy tantrums. Won’t hear any whining from me! Why, because I’m out on water...!

These folks offer good and responsive customer service. I was sent to wrong paddle, no fault of theirs, wrongly labeled. Outdoor play quickly resolved the issue and had the right hand version sent out ASAP. Smooth and painless swap.

Online setup is great. Easy to navigate and find what I’m looking for. Called customer service one day regarding a returns questions about the product I was looking at and the representative was super kind and helpful and was able to answer all of my questions. Overall a great company who wants their customers to have the best gear.

It was very easy to find the exact inflatable SUP board that I wanted on the site and the price was one of the lowest I could find. The order was processed quickly and the board arrived within a week in excellent condition. I would definitely put Outdoorplay at the top of my list for future outdoor goods purchases.

Don't buy from this company if you are outside of the States!!!! When you return the item (which you will end up doing because their products are NOT at all like what their website shows) you are on the hook for the shipping costs! It cost me $30 CDN to ship it back so I was out-of-pocket and had nothing to show for this expenditure!I bought a woman's life jacket for $100 USD and it was so thick that I couldn't reach to get the zipper up plus the zipper was tucked inward which was hard to reach anyway. It was way too short - just below my belly button - and I'm a small woman. It wasn't at all like what the picture showed on their website.
