Ouelam.com: "Polaroid 3D printer" Bing search brought me to the bag seller active site, same $99.00 price in checkout cart as Joana Fabric had offered. Purchased, found your site, and started backchecking. 0 response using e-mail & phone listed. Received a strange receipt with strange Item description and Chinese symbols many places on the receipt, invalid e-mail. UPS shipping tracking number I received indicated delivery day, stated weigh was 90% lighter than the printer 20.5# VS 2.8#. Shipping was from Amazon in Chattanooga, TN not the Ouelam.com business address which is a mix of street names from 2 cities in Mississippi. UPS did handle a 2.8 # package and did deliver to the listed town, but not to my rural address listed in the recipe. I supplied enough information to Paypal I should be refunded, and working with UPS and Amazon I now have additional information to provide. Excellent history with Paypal as a provider and as a client. Retired heavy Industrial Purchasing Agent.
USPS web page could not verify their Mississippi office address listed in their web page under contact us. I googled their north California area code contat telephone 209-489-8769 and an escort service in a page labeled "Erotic Monkey" is one of the results. Hey, they could still be legit right? ;-)
I was about to order a Superclam II snowmobile tiedown for $99.23 from Ouelam.com. After finishing the checkout and when no shipping cost to Alaska showed up, I became suspicious. Time to do some checking, as a Superclam II normally retail for $235. "If it is to good to be true, it probably isn't" so I assume this is a scam. I dealt with two other China scams without receiving their merchandise. I was happy I paid using PayPal and PayPalwas able to return my money by debiting their PP account. Much better than depending on the CC process.
I am not saying one way or another, but found this odd. I am looking for "Add-A-Leaf" leaf springs and said website shows up with "Dorman 929-114 - Leaf Spring" at about $100.00, seemed to be really good price so I wanted to see what other auto parts they sold noticed they claimed to sell handbags found that a little odd, so i went to there home page did search on their website for that product and results came back as they don't carry it. And then i did web search of that site and i came upon this site. This is the link to the auto part "Dorman 929-114 - Leaf Spring [FE373I9PS] - $99.48 : ouelam.com"
I searched for a wood lathe and this website came up offering a $259.00 machine for $99.00 and they advertised bags so I thought i was odd. So I did some more research since its a machine that weighs 100lbs and it was free shipping from mississippi. this is a scam site for sure.
I ordered a BatteryMINDer using Paypal. Ouelam took my money but did not send an acknowledgement. When I try to call them I get a busy signal. My email was returned with a failure notice.
Me too! Ordered a knee scooter. Paid with credit card. Same xrap Said it paid someone in China. Now it dropped a pkg off at miami dock 1 day after I ordered it, weighing nothing. Huge SCAM
Huge scam! I should have researched first.
I ordered a bikerack, didn't get a confirmation email. Emailed and used their webmail. No response. Phone doesn't work. Paypal email address was in Chinese characters. Working with PayPal to get my money back.
These people are scam artists. I ordered an item from their website through PayPal and they charged my account but I never received an order confirmation. I filed a claim with PayPal. Paypal reached out to the seller and the seller sent back a tracking number for an item that was sent by Amazon to someone else in my town. Because the tracking number showed that an item was delivered to my town, PayPal denied my claim. PayPal apparently doesn't check the actual address that an item was delivered to. This is a sophisticated scam. Do not buy from these people!
Even this scam detector site seems like a scam! And so does Ouelam. I came across it when looking for a delta 3d printer, and they have the the Monoprice MP Delta on Ouelam for $99, when Monoprice themselves sell it for $999. There is no way Ouelam could be buying them from the source for a low enough price to offer that deal. Run away, far away.
