otcwholesale.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives otcwholesale.com a medium trust score on the platform: 60.6. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Active. Medium-Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 60.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to otcwholesale.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Active. Medium-Risk. tags above. Long story short, we still see some red flags with this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning otcwholesale.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between otcwholesale.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of otcwholesale.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of otcwholesale.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. otcwholesale.com is a problematic website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether otcwholesale.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether otcwholesale.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, otcwholesale.com.

“Took 12 days to cancel my order”
It took them 12 days to cancel my order. They did two different cancellation and I only noticed the first one so I thought I was at least getting part of my order which caused me to run out of a supplement that I need. Twelve days to process an order is too long! Products used:None .. they canceled it after 12 days. Service
“Their shipping policy is a ripoff”
I paid $19.80 for 3 day shipping of my insulin syringes. I ordered on 9/7/19 and received an email saying my product shipped on 9/7/19. I didn't receive my package by 9/11 and went to tracking and it said it was to be delivered on 9/18. I called OTC wholesale to get my money back for shipping. He said that they could do nothing about it because once it went to the shipper it was out of their hands. I told him that was total bull. My package arrived on 9/17. I will never use OTC Wholesale again.
“Wrong Product Sent-NO Customer service response”
I was sent the wrong product. The product I was sent was After Bite Advanced which contains as the active ingredient - Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda) 5%. I had already received this product in error from another online manufacturer. What I ordered from the OTC Superstore was pictured on the OTC Superstore website, and the Active Ingredient is Ammonia - 3.5% Counterirritant. I contacted OTC Superstore twice via email and once left a message at the number provided on the website asking how they would like to proceed. Specifically--could they provide the correct product? If not please could they credit and provide instructions on returning the product sent in error? I never received any response from OTC Superstore. Glad I didn't buy anything too expensive. It is a shame. They describe themselves as a small family business. I'll stick with Amazon. Service Shipping Returns
“Disgraceful Service!”
The people who run this service should be ashamed. This service is a useless waste of time and the web site is shameful. This site should not be allowed to operate. It is impossible to log in and anything you order you might as well forget about. Priority Health used to have a wonderful and helpful OTC service and in 2023 hooked up with this disaster and I suppose this is one way to save money. If consummers of your health plan cannot access the services you promote, then priority health does not have to pay. What a sham. I will change my health plan at my first opportunity and make sure I alert everyone I know that this is a joke. I would not even rate this place one star, it should be minus stars. Now it won't let me submit my review without proof of purchase. Funny, it would not let me purchase that is the problem. Tip for consumers:Don't use this site unless you wish to waste your time and energy. Products used:The web site is a joke. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Horible Customer service”
I purchased a twin stim ems machine that advertised it was a russian Stimulator I contacted customer support to return item a customer service agent Catherine Arguellas in regards that her device is not a russian stimulator. She sent me multiple rude email messages that i am a liar and i just don't like device. This customer service agent would not listen to me and was very unprofessional and condescending. During the return she email me several time and making threatening remarks i would not get a refund if it was not new in box. On multiple times I asked her stop contacting to me and just refund product She continued to be rude and unprofessional. On july 31st i received one last email and accusing me of being a liar and would only refund 50 percent of refund. This company has horrible customer service reviews and they will lose business if they allow her to treat people like crap.
“Poor customer service”
I used a coupon for 10% off, and it showed a change in price and added the discount to my order. When I checked out it removed the coupon and charged the full price. I called customer service and they talked to their manager. They said they couldn't do anything about it and they would talk to their technician when they came in to work the next day to fix it. It was not fixed, and why would a tech be needed to handle customer service and resolution? Be careful with this company and hope you do not need to contact customer service for anything.
“WHY IS THERE NO ZERO FOR A RATING?!”
Do not trust these people. In my experience, they are Liars and Cheats and Thieves. Do NOT order from them. You will not get it. We ordered and paid by PayPal and when it didn't arrive when it was supposed to, my husband called and asked where it was. They said they never received any such order and had no record of the transaction number they sent us, and we should check our PayPal. We checked and indeed, PayPal had not been charged (yet). My husband asked them to cancel the order if it came in. They promised they would call back if the payment arrived, and they never did. I had just been released from the hospital for a quadruple bypass when this happened, and almost died, so we had other things to think about, so we let it go. We checked PayPal now and then, and suddenly one day, PayPal got billed. By the time I was well enough to pursue the matter, my time to argue their fraudulent billing had elapsed. OTC could be the last people on earth and I would rather go without my product rather than giving them another chance to scam me. Tip for consumers:STAY AWAY! Products used:NONE Was never shipped, and they denied getting paid. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“CANNOT RECOMMEND OTC ANY LONGER”
If you needed another reason to not do business with OTC, take a look at the business hours on their website; it says "subject to the whims of the owner". This is not a benchmark of professionalism. This is quite the ridiculous operation. After placing successful orders in the past, their joke of a shopping cart system from Yahoo now cites "irregularities" in the order and they, in turn, cancel the order. All while holding $120.00 hostage for 5-9 days. Other reviews indicate that they do not issue refunds, this could be an indicator that the business is facing insolvency and trying to gobble up as many funds as possible. Also, their toll-free number seems to be a shell as all options immediately lead to various voicemails that prompt you to leave a message. This was the case at various points in a business day. I once thought OTC had the best prices, but that's actually no longer true. So, I'd like to thank the ineptitude of this business as I've found much better prices elsewhere without the outdated Yahoo shopping cart. I'd recommend you do the same and let this business die a slow, lonely death. I also gave them a glowing review before my orders were canceled for truly inexplicable reasons, I rescind that review now after seeing how they're run.
“Poor customer service”
I would not order from OTC because I ordered a hypersphere vibrating ball and opened the box and tried it a couple times and it was not for me. I did not even open the box for the charger. A relative passed and I had to go out of town for a couple weeks. I emailed OTC before the 30 day period was up and said I want to return it and Catherine from OTC emailed me the link for returns. By the time I got home and packed it I was about 4 days beyond the 30 day return period and Catherine now says (on email) that they cannot return it. When I explained on email to her that I thought it was unfair because I contacted her before the 30 days was up and I included pictures to show it was in perfect brand new condition, this is what she says "Actually we were going above and beyond to accommodate you. Past 30 days is past 30 days. This is actually the same policy on Amazon marketplace. We are saddened that being upfront and truthful is such as issue for you". Catherine, I have news for you. You did not accomodate me (you just don't get it). And, what does truthful got to do with it? Do you not understand basic items? By the way, Amazon makes a lot of exceptions and I know they would have taken it back under these circumstances.
“Product in stock”
I ordered product on 9/7/2021 shampo SKU# OTC*******443 13 bottles at $2.84 ea. And total at $40.11. I paid with paypal and order went through no problem. I neede to call their number to ask question and no response from them. I tried for 3 days and no response from them. I called between hours of 7-4 pm est time and still no response. You had to leave message and i did and no response. Then all of a sudden i get e-mail and my order cancelled with saying product out.It was after my order placed. That they were out. Then i go to review section on these folks and they suck. Poor communication, shipping problems, coupon problems and on and on. How are these people still in business. I had to give 1 rating when i did not want to give that. This was my first order with them and is last time i order from them. Oh by the the way i went back on website of them and the shampo i wanted price is now $4.48 a bottle ea. Folks do no order anything from these what ever they are. Have a Bless Day and thanks for your time, Carroll. Tip for consumers:Rip off stay away Products used:none from them Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Great customer service”
I am a diabetic and I have received products from this website More than once! Great items and great people!
“Much improved!”
Happy to report that OTC did a decent job this last time. Delivery was prompt and their products are highly rated. Tip for consumers:I'd guess maybe they took a hit from Covid, but are up & running now. Products used:All of them. Service Value Shipping Quality

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
