Is orionleathercompany.com Legit?

I do have about a dozen belts. None of them compared with my recent purchase from Orion: solid, strong, and stable in adhering to my waist. I wish I had known about the company years ago. I bought two at a time and I do plan to buy a few more for friends by Christmas. Service was fast, friendly, and personable.

Purchased two: 1 1/4" Men's black Latigo Leather Dress Belt and 1" Walnut Re-Tanned Leather Dress Belt, 3-piece buckle set old nickel. The rivets are oversized and the doubled up belts at the buckle end are quite thick. The hardware belt retainers and prongs are lose - something I've never seen in a well-made belt. When the belt is buckled the hardware is stable. I wouldn't consider either belt suitable for business dress, but they're fine for casual wear.

Are you joking? I placed my order almost two weeks ago and never even received confirmation, despite the money being taken promptly from my account. They don't respond to emails, their phone number is non-functioning, and their website isn't even up any more (all pages on the site lead to an error code). This is ridiculous. I'm filing a complaint with PayPal and my bank. Do not trust this company.

Order arrived promptly, quality was excellent and the belt will clearly last me a long time. Only feedback is to add a prominent sizing guide to the website. I ordered my size and it fits but thought it would pass the buckle a bit more; recommend ordering one size (inch or two) up. Bottom line: better belt than I've bought anywhere; moreso considering the very reasonable price. Bravo Orion!

I have bought many different belts but the ones I have gotten from Orion are the best. The quality of materials and the workmanship is great. They are usually made to order so they might take a little longer than off the shelf belts that other companies sell but Orion’s are of much better quality. You will be getting the best craftsmanship available and good durability at a very fair price. Oh yes, and as an added bonus, their belts will stop your pants from falling down

This new belt is undoubtedly the finest quality, carefully crafted piece of leather I have ever owned. The tooling, color of stain and strong stainless steel buckle is far superior to the prissy imported junk in the stores. This belt will last a lifetime, buy a brown and a black. I also bought my son one and he loves it. I wish your company and dedicated American employees the very best, keep up the great work!

Ordered two items that stated they usually ship in 1 to 2 business days. It has been 12 business days and the only response from Orion Leather has been this survey request. Have sent multiple e-mails with no response. Have called multiple times, at different times, during their normal business hours only to get a recording. Unable to leave a voice message as their message box is full. Under "My Account" on their website the order is still showing as processing. Unable to cancel order on the website as it states the order has already shipped or has reached the final stages of processing.

My only complaint (which is the real caveat) is that the return policy is relatively strict, which also includes charges. Which I wouldn't have a problem with, but after a pleasing experience with a black belt, I thought I'd get a brown version. After getting the "dark brown" version, it's nearly identical to the black. Even under a bright color corrected light, black and dark brown are extremely close, and difficult to distinguish. Now, this would be fine with a better return policy, but it's probably easier to just not deal with them again.

I am very happy with the quality of the product I ordered: American Made 1 1/2" Medium Brown Oil Tanned Latigo Leather Belt, Size: 38. The belt color was very dark when I received it -- almost black, but clearly a very dark brown when viewed outside in the sunlight. I sent an inquiry with photos, but never receive a response. I was too busy to worry about it, but a response would have been helpful because I held off on purchasing another belt from Orion. I think I'll try another belt -- it's been a year now. I'll let you know how it goes.

I could not be happier with my purchase. The buying process, price, shipping time, and quality of the belts I ordered were all exceptional. It feels good to be able to buy real leather products for less than department stores charge for imitation leather knockoffs that will peel or fall apart after less than a year of wear. I will be back to purchase again for family and friends.

Superior leather (quality and thickness), fast shipping, excellent packaging, made in USA. Top right corner of product page has link to sizing instructions. With a 34" waist, I wear a 36" belt. Belt fits as expected, with or without a holster.

Although I returned an item, I'm giving them a 4 because they operate as a righteous company, i.e., they do what's expected of them. My account was credited ONE DAY after receiving my returned item. They even refunded shipping! I'm astounded with their service.

Return policy isn't very consumer friendly with original shipping charges not being refunded, 10% restocking fee, AND you have to pay for your own return shipping.One belt basically costs 40% of the cost to return....Also, the photos on the products on their website may not be an exact match.

The experience on the website was great and the belt looks magnificent. I am just a little surprised about sizing buy maybe I did something wrong. I wear size 33 pants so I chose a size 34 belt. It fits but just at the very last hole, I can't afford to gain any weight and it looks a teeny tiny bit too short. Considering the relatively low cost, I don't think it's worth sending it back as it still fit.

Plan to exchange item for duplicate product. Product was defective, not acceptable for sale as far as I am concerned. I am giving this company one more chance to make things right. Besides this problem, shopping and shipping experience was fine.

My 1.5 inch wide "hot dipped" belt arrived on Friday, three days before it was expected. The belt is excellent quality and is easily 1/8 inch thicker than my other normal wear belts; additionally, the belt buckle is far more substantial than many work belt buckles I've used over the years. When I bought this belt I had intended to replace the buckle with one that I already owned. However, after seeing the quality of the entire belt and buckle I will continue to use the one that came with the belt.I highly recommend Orion Leather Company to anyone in search of a quality work, western or casual belt.

Poor customer service. Charged me a "restocking fee" for a return though I wasn't warned, never agreed to it, and the told me it was actually a penalty because they had to hand make my order. This violates the UCC. Tried to settle through email. That don't care about customers.I recommend you do business with another company.
