I had a tourist 20 gb SIM card which ran out of credit. I went to recharge online and they took my money 500 Maldivian dollars but never toped up SIM card. When I spoke to customer service they said data was used. Which it never was. Don’t use this company. Try another provider while in the Maldives.
Policies and packages are designed to loot money from the peoples. Ooredoo is one of the worst possible cellular company across the globe.
Ooredoo's customer service is a total letdown. After spending two hours seeking help to reset my application password, I received no assistance. The representatives were unhelpful and incompetent, passing me around with no resolution in sight. Dealing with Ooredoo's support was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I would strongly advise against relying on their customer service for any help and for their services in general.
The worst service ever!!!! They configure my iptv with wires when i move to a villa knowing that it was working wireless in my old appartement. Be aware,they are playing with router configuration to make costumer paying more money!!! The router is free in many other countries but they oblige you to pay 800 for new one!!!Hhhh! Stop deducting balance every time I top up on the pretext of false calls that has never been made. Your customer care executive won’t share details other than phantom outgoing calls to Africa which has never been or will be on my call records by any means! I do not receive calls from unknown local numbers even, let alone from Africa or any other side of the world.Please hold a proper investigation. At this point I’m so perplexed that I’m hesitant to even recharge as I’m sure 18/20 QR will be deducted every other week. Calling 111 didn’t help. I’m being scammed & blamed for the same by the customer service simultaneously. I’ve never seen a service provider so insincere! Not recommended.
Terrible customer service support for Hayya Card holders with Ooredoo sim cards. We waited in line (only one counter dedicated to Hayya sim cards) for nearly 30 minutes for help, while 5-6 other counters were helping "residents" only. We finally gave up, walked down to Vodafone, and had a working sim card in 5 mins (no exaggeration!). Don't waste your time in Ooredoo, go directly to Vodafone.
After leaving Qatar in the summer, I am still receiving Ooredoo bills. They seem unable to respond to the simple request to close down my account. I have asked on many occasions, sent them all the paperwork they said they needed on several occasions. I don’t know what else to do except ignore them.
Don't use ooredoo!!!!! They charged extra 100 riyal.i wanted to cancel my postpaid package and get back my existing number then they asked me to play 100qr if you need your old number, but the problem is they did not mention anything like that while getting the connection,
Worest network ever, no one help via calls , or online or watsap , even the raising a tickwt cant be done , the agents dont know anything, i will switch to another network. Plus extra money added to my bill and no one no why but i have to pay it.
No any experience in customer survices mainly Arabic Egyptian agency,,, nervous,,, not helpful, not comfortable at all…. Useless,,, no any experience….. This my experience with them more than 5 years ago…. They are not happy 😄 to help any one call 📱 them.
To start this review please beware that I was an ooredoo customer for more than 6 years from prepaid to postpaid and upgraded plan up Qr210. And now I had to switch to Vodafone.

Reasons why:
1. If they call you for a plan that is from prepaid to post paid please remember if you try to cancel they will charge you Qr100 to go back to prepaid never the less you are a prepaid customer before. 

If you want to cancel they will charge you your plan even you use it or not if you don’t cancel before your renewal date.2. Customer service (you know already), they will mislead or misinform you to cancel before your billing date renew and still charge you or worse discriminate you.

AGAIN IF YOUR NOT WILLING TO PAY EXTRA OR HIDDEN CHARGES THAT WILL NOT BE INFORMED TO YOU ESPECIALLY AS AN EXPAT, DON’T UPGRADE YOUR PLAN DON’T GO TO POST PAID.
I wish I can give them 0 star 👺 I withdraw 2000 $ and the in few seconds they give me message they talk anther 3689qr from my account for nothing it’s not fair at all 😡I complain they told me it’s under process but it’s was emergency 🚨 because I have fight It’s should be easy to give me refund like the way they talk it from my account 🤷‍♂️😡I also take my time to go to Ooredoo. office also talk to manager of ooredoo in al Sadd I was waiting her 40 mins but still told me to wait 😭😭🤕(for my 2 hours I spend there ) I feel bad for them I advice them to update they system or to control well system because it’s personally account it’s so important 🤕. ⚠️ also it’s important to know satisfaction of guest 🌝😡

As I didn't find the Tunisian ooreedo company here, but allow me just to say that you can't find worst than those lyers and escrots in the whole world. The promise you 4 Mo and then you can't even reach 1.5 Mo, you contact them, they keep saying they will fix but actually they never do. If you come in Tunisia, avoid them
You’ll get a postpaid number with numerous unknown charges to your package.They will give you the report summary, however there’s always some additional phone call or sms that you can’t keep a track on.Even your package is 120QR or so, you can’t limit it to the package and it can’t be stopped at 120QR even they send you the delayed SMS that your balance is finished few days after you go across it.As well limit is around 500/600 QR even your package is fixed so good luck if you forget to switch off your Roaming.Now I asked to migrate to prepaid, I’m paying 100QR for “service charges” due to their policy change in September 2023, which is not communicated nor agreed by customers. I was completely unaware that I’d be paying 100QR extra just to switch to prepaid.Upon paying, he informed me that my bill is already over my package even I didn’t use any internet, Roaming nor many calls in past 10 days since the billing cycle. Be aware they are very responsive and packages are tempting and fairly priced however amount of money they take from people is ridiculous. Don’t go postpaid.
We deposited QR 10,000.00 in the Ooredoo money machine then it malfunctioned and we only retrieved QR 7,500.00. Only QR 2,000.00 was returned to us because as per them that's only the amount they found. We kept on following up only to get a negative response after 13 days. It's unfair as we worked very hard for that money.
Don’t use them as home internet provider, price is sky high and they are limiting speed on you in order to sell you new packages!!!!
"I paid all bills amount and then cancellations, but an extra cancellation charge of 100 Qar was taken. Is there any issue or reason for this fee? The cancellation reason was a long overseas vacation, which seems like a valid reason for cancelling before the vacation. Was there any difficulty in the cancellation process?
