While some are self-explanatory concerning ooredoo.mv, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between ooredoo.mv and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of ooredoo.mv. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of ooredoo.mv, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. ooredoo.mv is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. WORST WIFI IN THE MALDIVES. SLOWEST SPEEDS. CONNECTED TO THE WORST SERVERS. UNUSABLE OVERALL. -1/10
The internet service is very bad as it keeps disconnecting, and what makes it worse is that it is the only "good" ISP in the Maldives. Dhiraagu purposely slows down your internet and ROL's internet is worse from what I've heard. I wish there was better WiFi networks in the Maldives that disconnect far less frequently, or don't disconnect at all.
I had a bad experience with Ooredoo service, I purchased the data package through the app but it doesn't work, what a scam :(
I bought a prepaid tourist SIM from the airport for our trip to the Maldives. Ooredoo's mobile service worked largely as expected (hence the 2 stars)... However: 1) I was charged twice for the SIM and after three separate interactions with their 'live chat' over the past month, I still can't get a refund for one of them (despite being promised a refund by a previous agent), 2) the price for the original data SIM struck me as being on the high side, and as I've travelled more internationally over the past month that has been confirmed. Their airport tourist SIMs are incredibly expensive compared to similar plans in other countries or their own domestic plans. I personally do not appreciate the price gouging.
I topped up my account with 500 rufiya it shows on wallet 500 but when you try to get a data plan it shows insufficient balance. Upon contacting support they told me i have 499.98 . I topped up again twice 10 rufyia each time and this is not reflecting in the walle. This company is a fraud.
Ooredoo Esims are a scam. They don’t work in the Maldives. The ooredoo offices at Male airport know they don’t work. They told me to contact ooredoo for a refund. Ooredoo won’t refund me as they say I’m using the esim which I’m not. I had to buy a plastic sim at male airport. Ooredoo is a scam
Ooredoo Maldives is enjoying duopoly's high profits, their customers are barely surviving from inflation and high prices. Internet has been varying low/ medium speeds. You guys can help your loyal customers by lowering the internet prices.
The 100gb for 50$ is a scam.the company doesn't inform you that it is actually 30gb and 70gb for social media. If you run out 30gb then you cannot view the emails or search internet. In fact my phone showed only use of 22gb. I only learned it after a week since custom support is useless they only promised to come back to me in 48hr with an answer. Total scam
WiFi has been gone for one week and we call them every day the WiFi is gone but ooreedo customer support is telling us that a technician is coming every time that we call them but they never came and they keep telling us that our case is urgent but it has been one week and nothing has been done about this.
In the Maldives, the telecommunications landscape is primarily dominated by two major players: Ooredoo and Dhiraagu. As customers, these are the sole mobile telecommunication solutions providers available in the region. Therefore, considering the limited options, the offer presented holds significant value in comparison to the alternatives.Given the highly competitive nature of both providers, there exists ample room for improved offers through price reductions. Lowering the offer prices could enhance the competitiveness of the market further, benefiting consumers and fostering a more dynamic telecommunications environment.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
