I found a French bulldog listed 10+ times. Same picture and number but different names and locations. Before I discovered this I had texted the person bc it said they were in my location when they tell me they are in Maryland. Many states away from me. Please do research and don't do shipping. See the puppy in person.

Have dealt with two scammers in last two days. Stories surprisingly familiar- sarcasm intended. One giving away bulldog puppies, another selling Sphynx kittens. Since some rescues post pets on here and I've seen a few ads that seem reputable, starting with them actually being somewhere not around the world - SUDDENLY had to move but happy to ship to you! Think this is a terrible place to get a pet in general, unless you can go see it!

Can't post anything without logging in with Facebook? Absolutely stupid. There excuse is to prevent fraud activity. Right, because fraud doesn't happen through Facebook in their fantasy world they live in. Dumb. Nearly every ad on oodle was a clear spam & scam attempt from what I seen.

Ended up looking into oodle.com last year when the wife and I rekindled a years past love of birds. Being on the lookout for scams, we found plenty of them, particularly in pets. Ads where a seller claims to have recently moved away from your area, they have a very desirable pet and are offering it at a super reasonable price, they'll ship it to you. There in lies the scam, they're going to get payment from you and send nothing, probably by wire. Eventually our interest in oodles.com became an entertainment value, I would never expect to actually get something from someone there unless they really are in your area and can meet with you face to face to complete the sale. Better to just browse craigslist and see what comes up as it does.

I don't usually write reviews but i need people to beware of this. I've been looking for a maltese female and i came across 2 people who seem very nice. One was giving me her for free but just paying for shipping of $300. Which i thought was weird. Maltese are really expensive dogs. She said she had cervical cancer and she wanted someone to take care of her. She harassed me about making a payment. Same thing with another person. They don't give contacts on dogs and they want you to pay up front. Long story short don't but ANYTHING from them at all. I'm pretty sure its scam because of these other reviews. A shame, they need to shut this b. S website down immediately!

After reading the scathing reviews, I am so happy I didn't go any further with a purchase of a Boston Terrier wit this website. Same story: $500 for the dog, then emails about the crate not being big enough and the need for an electronic ventilation crate. Seriously? They look the same as every other crate! The crates were $1,000, $1500, and $1900! Then, a vaccine for $100 to help the dog with air pressure! What? Western Union is going after them! These people have so much gall- still calling me and trying to get me to pay out the money! I was told that if I didn't finish the transaction, the puppy would go quarantine and it would cost us $. Shut this place down!

Watch out for textnow.com phone numbers these are scams. They were going to give me dog today. Once I said we could meet in public place. They said will fly dog to Dallas overnight. The story kept changing, Just wished them a Merry Christmas and moved on to searching for another Yorkie.

Oodles Marketplace for vehicles is a complete scam. Anybody that will not meet face to face and accept cash in hand... so far the first three cars/trucks I inquired on we're all scams. They can say what they want about Craigslist, but I have bought a car, two motorcycles and a hot tub with no problems. I have also sold cars and stuff without a problem. The Oodles site is pure crap. If you fall for any of their scams then you are very naive!

I contacted a puppy seller supposedly in Georgia. Seller replied that they were now in NM, mother died, puppies were hers and seller was unable to take care of them. Moneygram was requested, said the puppy would be shipped to my door (in NC) and arrive in 24 hours. Luckily I got suspicious and did not send money. Shipper had heavy Indian accent. I contacted 2 other sellers within driving distance, both had suddenly moved to distant states. Upon looking more closely at the ads, several sellers, in different states, all had the same phone text numbers.

This site is a complete rip-off! Full of scammers! I read the other reviews and my situation was the same! The ad is for one state and the dog is supposedly in another and they want you to pay for shipping through money gram. Good thing money gram was on top of things or I would've been ripped off! These people make me sick, saying their mother died or their daughter died and that's why they need to get rid if the puppies! I really pray that karma gets these pathetic excuse for human beings and someday they'll get what they deserve for the terrible things they're doing! DO NOT trust this site!

This is a site with nothing but scammers. You will see the exact same object with the exact same picture advertised with a different owner and location, after the first ad got it's sucker. These idiot are so lazy they won't even find a new item with a different picture to try to scam people. They are specifically using items that will appeal to either older vulnerable people, or pet lovers who are just trying to find the right pet. This web site should be shut down. “WOW is all I can say”

WOW is all I can say. Am looking for a puppy and came across this website with a lot of too good to be true deals. And that is exactly what they are. I texted for more information about a dog and noticed that the number was green meaning they don't have an iPhone or usually smartphone in general. Starting thinking that was weird and it is probably a burn phone. Then I googled the numbers and came across about 30 listings in all different states under the same phone number. If you are going to use this site, and I recommend you just do not, google the phone number before you get excited.

I've been looking for cats, and not one advertisement I've contacted is legit, they all want your phone number, and they all try to get you to wire money. I've had some fun toying with them, using the message feature but never giving out my phone number, but if this entire website could be shut down, the world would be a better place.

When you look on the site for cars, there are hundreds of thousands of underpriced cars listed, each with a story about somebody in the military or some mom who is moving. They will send you the car or it is boxed up and can't be inspected. But if you try to list something legitimate here, the ad is immediately flagged as a scam. How does that work? Because the site is run by scammers, that is how.

I've tried advertising with Oodle and it's ridiculous. Within a day my ad was flagged and ZERO response from messages to Oodle. Everyone, go elsewhere and stop using Oodle, maybe they will wake up and fix this issue. Hoobly.com is a good site and it's free. I wish they had such a thing as negative stars cause Oodle doesn't deserve any as far as I'm concerned! Tip for consumers:I suggest finding other sites and kick Oodle to the curb. Was on site looking for puppies for sale. Found numerous ads having the same contact number. Also noted different numbers on multiple ads. I contacted them for info and received answers from different names all using the same reply. The only difference was name, new city they had just moved to and contact info. Some using the exact name sent returns to me for different ads saying the exact things but offered different pups in different places. When questioned response had nothing to do with questions asked and avoided giving any further info just kept repeating it self.

If anyone has any information about the proper channels to go through to report this band of thieves and bottom feeders please spread the word until it's gone and the cowards running it are behind bars. Tried to purchase either Boston pup or franchise bulldog pup, prices were quite low, 2 separate sellers both listed in fla but pups were elsewhere( became suspicious) both sellers had sad stories about why listing was different and shipping would be included. I am a hard working teacher and my family and I have raised lab puppies for years as a hobby. We relied on Oodle for years and suddenly they remove every ad we post. I have read the rules and regulations over and over and I see no violations - we attempt to run the same kind of ads that used to be ok. Oodle flags them every time and they are removed. I have disputed every one and they never respond with any kind of explanation on what I can do to id and correct a violations. After research, I see that this have become very common practice with Oodle and has left many people frustrated. People who have good puppies to sell are being treated unfairly and consumers are being denied information about pets that could be a great match for them. I just want to know why Oodle is doing this. It feels like discrimination or something. They have wasted too much of my time and they got me at a bad time. They don't even tell you when they flag you!

I was looking for a puppy and kept getting sent to this site by Google listings. Five different ads said they were in my city but when contacted all were out of state and said they would ship to me if I sent the money. Really? A big waste of time since apparently no one monitors this site for accuracy.

“AVOID OODLE in general, pets and puppies in particular”

We were scammed by a Portuguese Water dog puppy for sale post on this site. The "seller" is working the old "419" scam, trying to lure you in to paying for the adorable puppy plus shipping somehow. Several other "puppy for sale" listings we contacted on oodle.com seem to be of the same ilk. This is a cruel, hideous and heart-breaking scam, yet Oodle.com doesn't seem to have any filter for it. And their reporting/accountability for reporting scam postings doesn't even acknowledge that you complained, which feels like I've been scammed again! I would ask MANY, many questions to any seller who purports to be in your area, wherever you are. But most of all, avoid oodle.com. I never heard of them before two days ago and now I cannot wait to tell everyone how bad they suck at pet classifieds!

I have been looking for a jack russell puppy for a long time! Went onto this website, was supposed to be in NJ. You could only text this person! No calls! They got back to me saying had to go to CA, and had to take dog. I will give him to you, all I had to do was pay shipping! THERE WAS NO DOG! Found the same pictures on other sites, with legitimate ads! Check the phone numbers! They were from Montana, Ohio, and then I looked at other breed puppies. They had the same phone numbers! Check it out! Can't believe they continue with the scams they are running! GO ELSEWHERE!

“Unreasonable/uncontestable flagging penalizes legit sellers!”

Yes, there are legitimate sellers on Oodle. I'm one. The only way I've found to repost my ad is to go back and edit it/replace photos. If I rewrite a new ad... even at the end of the previous ad's 30 days, they flag it, I guess as "substantially similar" to the first ad. I understand that they don't want to be spammed by massive submissions, over & over, with the same ad. But really... one a month? If that's their policy, they should state it explicitly. And FORGET getting them to respond to a request to remove a flag. As to the folks getting scammed on pets, for gosh sakes follow the warning Oodle posts: do NOT send money for an animal sight-unseen. Find a nearby seller and go visit! I wouldn't sell an animal to someone I haven't met, and you certainly shouldn't buy one that way.
