Minimal Doubts. Controversial.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 52.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to online-therapy.com's industry. The algorithm detected possible high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial. tags above. Long story short, we recommend using caution when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning online-therapy.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between online-therapy.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of online-therapy.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of online-therapy.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. online-therapy.com is a dubious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether online-therapy.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether online-therapy.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

This is exactly what I needed and I am so happy I found this service. All the amazing tools right at my fingertips and being able to meet with my therapist right from my couch is the BEST! Anytime I feel the need, I know this site will be here for me. I feel so supported and so much stronger since coming here. THANK YOU!
The management of this site is not fit for purpose. They don't seem to understand the service that they are offering. There is customer service or support or if there is it is a mess. No one knows about anything. I can't talk about their therapist in general but the first one assigned to me cancelled the appointment with silly excuse and then when we finally met she had not botherd the introductory filled form that I was obliged to fill before booking session. My impression was that this young woman is preoccupied with something else: relation ship break down, hung over, money problems. She just wasn't present. I asked to change. The next therapist was a kind a patient person but I didn't see any sign of qualification or experties. I don't know. Either they are just too disorganised or they are not professionals.
I really like the concept of this company. It feels good to have a choice of how you want to commit to your journey of self care. I admit I was apprehensive after I was transferred to a different therapist I highly recommend sticking with it to find a therapist that works for you. This company offered me a refund when I was upset about this and I was more than humbled by the kindness and respect thru our ordeal. I am grateful for this type of service and will recommend this company to all.
Evidence: There is a copy of correspondences below the text:The management of this site is not fit for purpose. They don't seem to understand the service that they are offering. The next therapist was a kind patient person, but I didn't see any sign of qualification or expertise. I don't know. Either they are just too disorganized or they are not professionals. But then suddenly I was referred to someone else. I never asked for a change. I wrote and told them to reconnect me but there was no reply. I finally gave up and cancelled and asked for refund. They not only cancelled my subscription but went ahead and charged my account again. I was left with no option but to refer the matter to my bank. I am still in dispute with them. ===================================Hi MaggieI received the above email from you that has confused me. Either this email is three weeks late or there has been a discussion about me and this therapist has been recommended on the basis of my introductory notes.I have changed my therapist already because the last one was too young for me. She had obviously not bothered to read my introductory notes even after she cancelled once on me.It wasn't that I was offended but even a rational and sang froid analysis told me that she is too inexperienced for me or is probably going through some personal stuff that has preoccupied her too much to bother to read what I had to write before booking a session. Please don't take this the wrong way, I have been through a lot, including a lot of therapists. I have also studied a lot, certainly know more about psychology than the previous and even my current therapist. Intellectually, if anything I am overconfident, it is rest of life that has been a disaster. As to why I had studied all this stuff is a long story. But I concluded that I had to know everything because doctors make too many mistakes. They are either too busy or have grown too cynical to care. Either way it has no relevance to my sitution and I would be last one to make any moral or ethical judgement about anyone or the world. However, their negligence caused a damage my heart and four and half years on the wrong medication because they didn't think my depression getting a lot worse could have had something to do with the medication that they prescribed that came with a warning that patient needs to be kept under evaluation.Once I saved myself from serotonin syndrome when I was in hospital, taken there because of side effects of MAOI class antidepressants. I was forced to physically prevent a doctor from injecting me with Demerol. It is a synthetic opioid sriously contraindicated with MAOIs considering that a full-blown SSRI syndrome if 90% fatal. While I wish for nothing more than someone more well-read than me on the subject of mental health, I am also aware that emotional intelligence can go a longways as well in keeping people sane.I didn't ask for a new therapist a second time. Mina Norouzi, while not compatible intellectually, is kind and caring. But if this other person has been judged to be suitable for my case and has read my introductory notes, then I will be happy to chat with her, but I don't want to change Mina for someone even less suitable.I tried to send her this message, but I first need to ask for a change of therapist that I am not going to do unless Iknow that this person is really interested and if people have decided that she is better suited.Otherwise, I will stick to Mina who is a kind person and listens. But I doubt I will continue for much longer.I mostly do this because of my isolation, and I don't expect to meet the next Jung or Freud, or people like Alice Miller and Jaque Lacan.Best regardsBabak KamaliSo, please let me know what is going on.======================================Then I had an email telling me to ignore the previous email but the site didn't change to allow me to get back to my previous therapy. So I finally had to cancel======================================
I like the journal and worksheet. But the therapist I had didn't seem to check them. The last 2 sessions got offtrack. I have changed therapist. My new therapist is much much better. Very intelligent and helpful and not mechanistic in her thinking.
I like being able to write to my therapist whenever I want. The different techniques available are helpful—The worksheets and steps. My only negative is that when I changed my plan to not include the live sessions, I didn’t know that meant less frequent replies from my therapist as well. My therapist is excellent. You can change to another as an option is good for those not connecting as easily as I did.
Online Therapy is a great service. The pricing is afforadable compared to many others. The information and worksheets are great. Having your own therapist on hand to message work through the sheets with and video calls is great
This service offers a great combination of live sessions and tools. There are worksheets that really help you analyze your problems and helps you realize what you need in life. Your therapist gives you feedback on the worksheets and you can message them anytime. I found it to be a very useful combination and I've noticed an improvement after just one month. The therapist I was matched with was so kind. The customer service team is also helpful and efficient in matching you with a therapist. I recommend this for anyone who wants to try CBT.
I chose this because it was the least expensive program available. I guess you get what you pay for. It's completely unclear how they match you with a therapist -- felt pretty random to me -- and changing therapists is really hard to do because they have so few available to choose from. The therapist assigned to me felt more like an inquisitor than someone whose goal was to help me explore some difficult things. Despite filling out several questionnaires, we only "talked" about my initial statement of what I wanted to work on, and the therapist seemed to disregard any of the factors that might be contributing to how I got where I was or what might be needed for me to get past my current situation. I like the idea of this program but the actual experience was very unsatisfying. I would absolutely not recommend it to anyone.
Dr. Pott-Pepperman is an excellent therapist; he's wise, knowledgeable, and warm. I've been working with him for some time, and have made substantial progress.
Had 1 session via text with a therapist. It began at 13.00 and was supposed to end at 13.45. Therapist sent 7 messages (including hello), their last message was at 13.25. I sent a message at 13.30 detailing childhood abuse and my message was ignored. Never replied to. Then I got kicked from the session at 13.45. When I complained, I was gaslit by the manager who told me my session started at 12.55 and had lasted an hour. This was completely untrue. It was a total waste of time and money. And extremely concerning that a healthcare professional would lie in their notes about session length. Not to mention ignoring the kind of message that was sent to her.
The structure of the website is very user-friendly. I had never imagined online therapy could work so well, and be so easy to access. I was immediately teamed with an excellent therapist who has made the experience very beneficial.
I signed up for Online-Therapy.com because it was one of the least expensive of all that I looked at. I was going to give it a one star but I have to admit that they have a nice webpage.I subscribed to the Standard Plan and wrote emails to a therapist that was assigned to me. But the therapist only acknowledge the things I did. For example, I told her, in detail, the argument I had with my Mom. The therapist wrote back acknowledging I had an argument with my Mom. That's all she did. After one week of it I had enough and cancelled my subscription. You get what you pay for. And with Online-Therapy.com you don't get much. I would not recommend Online-Therapy.com to anyone.
Communication is great. When you leave a message or response, it is responded to in a timely manner and it's easy to use system. I am happy that I gave it a try.
Excellent therapist. The website is easy to navigate and everything worked well. The video conference feature was excellent.
It helped me a lot, and continues to help as long as I stick with what I learned.
Talking to Bernadette has been refreshing and helpful. I liked her disarming personality, sincere approach and resourcefulness towards helping my unique situation.
Easy to login easy to navigate through the system.
I like the service but it's so expensive.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
