oliviaburton.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives oliviaburton.com a medium-high trust score on the platform: 78.5. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Standard. Fair.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this above-average score? We came up with the 78.5 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to oliviaburton.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Known. Standard. Fair. tags above. Long story short, we deem this website low risk, but you still need to pay attention to details and use common sense when engaging in online transactions of any kind. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning oliviaburton.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between oliviaburton.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of oliviaburton.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of oliviaburton.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. oliviaburton.com is a low-risk website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether oliviaburton.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether oliviaburton.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, oliviaburton.com.

BEWARE .. the refund policy is a scam. Last Christmas 2023 I purchased three items. 2 were OK but the third a bracelet was child size. I followed the refund instructions and had several emails acknowledging the issue but no refund. NOW 12 months. Actual date within few days as shown.
I have purchased 2 necklaces and they are lovely. Although I'm disappointed they are not silver they have remained in good condition despite being worn multiple times. They both have a decent weight and came in really nice packaging, soft wallet and a box with a drawer.
Was gifted for my birthday Classic Silver Interlink Drop Stud Earring which cost £50.00. Unfortunately after 3 month of non continuous use a stone had fallen out, Olivia Burton had replaced them as a “good will gesture” The replacement pair has had three stones fall out within 8 months of having them! I may add I only wear these a few days at a time and remove to shower, bathe and sleep. Customer service offered 40% off voucher for my next purchase, but do I really want to spend any money even a penny on an unreliable brand?! Obviously not. Overall Very poor quality, therefor would not recommend any of their products.
On Friday 10/26 I placed an order with Olivia Burton (owned by Movado) and was able to place a successful order, which was not fulfilled. The following Monday I checked on the shipping and was told there was no record of my purchase. I placed another order (now having been charged $340) and it was unsuccessful. I contacted my card carrier and was assured of no issues, and then I contacted Olivia Burton and was told that it was potentially my browser history causing the issue and to try a new device. After saying I have tried two different devices, there was no more resolution offered. I will avoid this company at any cost going forward, and would encourage anyone who values their time and money to do the same.
This company promised a delivery of a watch three weeks ago but it has still not arrived. I did not receive the purchase after this length of time and have asked for a full refund. Company are not engaging and say it is in transit. It is too late for me to offer it so I want a full refund. Please do not use this company and do not purchase anything on it. They are not honest brokers. Very shocking.
Annoyingly, I love the designs of the jewellery and the watches, however aftercare is none-existent. I have two OB watches, which were bought for me as gifts from my bf. After 12 months both batteries have died - which cannot be replaced unless its taken to a specialist. And worst of all, the quality of the "leather" straps are poor, one of mine has cracked and peeled. I went on their site to look for genuine OB strap replacements, only to discover they don't even do their own watch strap replacements - ONLY if you have an Apple watch. The advice from CS is to just buy one online - aka any old tatt that isn't official OB. For this reason I will no longer be getting any OB watches, which tbh annoys me as I do really love the designs. And, for the price (which for me is expensive) you would think they would offer these services for a company that is trying to come across as high end, desirable brand. PLEASE START STOCKING WATCH STRAP REPLACEMENTS!!
awful company. bought a watch that always ran slow. eventually managed to get into store to return it and they advised me to post it directly to olivia burton who had their repair company repair it but when it cam bac to me, the glass face was chipped. They had clearly removed it and chipped it in the process. I contacted them the same day to advise of the damage and they replied saying they had received it damaged from me. no proof, other than a photo that could have been taken any time. I contacted Olivia Burton directly to ask them to help and they sent and emailed response that made no sense talking about batteries not being covered. I assumed they had sent the email in error so i asked them to re read my email. they responded saying it was meant for me and they were reiterating what was not covered. I am still unsure of the relevance. they told me to contact the repairer for advice!! i explained i was contacting them because their repairers are rogues and damaged my watch. Absolutely insane!! they are an awful company and the quality of their watches are awful. Next stop, consumer advice
DO NOT BUY THE LOW QUALITY PRODUCTS THEY SELL! Really disappointed to find that Olivia Burton don’t provide any warranty on their jewellery, only watches! I was bought a necklace for Christmas last year, I barely wear it - only on special occasions. I took it out to wear only to find that the gold holding one of the stones had become loose and a stone had come out of the necklace. I contacted Olivia Burton online twice - no reply to either message. I then hunted for an email and emailed them, only to be told they wouldn’t do anything as they don’t have a warranty on jewellery! They then offered me 40% off more jewellery…as if I’m going to spend more money with a company who ignores customer contact and doesn’t provide a warranty on its products. Very disappointed to say the least!
Absolutely shocking customer service , I ordered earrings , never got delivered , told will have no wait for them to be sent back to them from Royal Mail before a refund can be orProcessed , still no refund after 3 weeks , I’ve sent multiple emails , messages via there messenger business chat , phone calls But just a recorded message , nobody has got back to me not once , I’m so frustrated , I’ve used this company for some years and spent s fair bit of money with them , but unfortunately I won’t spend another penny with them and will tell all my customers and friends to not waste there time or money with them , as customer service is appalling , very very unhappy customer
First found Olivia Burton via the Covent Garden store on a trip to London 2 years ago. Since then I’ve bought several items online for both my wife and sisters.I bought my wife OB’s rose gold knotted heart necklace for Christmas. There was a slight problem with the catch - after explaining the problem to OB’s customer services, the necklace was replaced without any fuss and my wife loves the necklace and the matching earrings too. Great customer service, well done OB.
Received a lovely bracelet as a gift from my family. Unfortunately, the magnetic catch had failed and unfortunately, the bracelet fell off during my holiday. I wrote to the company and advised to send photos of my bracelet etc. response was poor. The bracelet was only 6 weeks old. Definitely not recommended
Fantastic customer service! I had an issue with a gift I received ans Ford was quick and efficient in dealing with my issue. Hard to come by good customer service these days and Ford was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend Olivia Burton!
I ordered a silver wristwatch in the new year sales. It was dispatched the next day, and arrived 2 days following that, free postage. The watch is absolutely gorgeous, exactly as described by Olivia Burton. It looks beautiful and even suits my smaller than average wrists. Would definitely recommend Olivia Burton.
Dear Michelle, I just wanted to complete my customer experience by saying thank you so much for the way in which my issue has been handled. Quite clearly Olivia Burton trains their customer team to show genuine care and compassion to their customers, even when things go wrong. The replacement strap arrived yesterday, was simple to attach and has solved the problem. More importantly, my daughter has the smile back on her face the same as when she first opened this gift on her birthday, so thank you so much again. The watch is very classy, beautiful and great value for money 😊
My rose gold watch strap has tarnished after just three months, I contacted customer service who advised that although their warranty didn’t cover watch straps they would replace it as a gesture if good will. Sadly the replacement has tarnished and looks dull and dirty after just a few months. Very expensive for the longevity! Wouldn’t recommend
My son and mother purchased a lovely green faced Olivia Burton watch for me for Christmas. They accidentally ordered two. I love the watch and wear it regularly. However, I recently discovered that customer service at Olivia Burton would not allow them to return the duplicate, unworn and unopened watch. This type of return policy is odd in this day and age. The extra watch will now go to my sister, but I won't purchase from this shop again.
Ordered earrings which looked beautiful (gold/silver double interlink hoop) but they didn’t fit! Never had earrings not fit before!! They’re made in such a way that the bottom hoop poked the lower part of my lobe and pinched, making them then not hang properly and stuck upwards! I emailed customer services who basically said tough, you’ve tried them on (err yes I wouldn’t know they wouldn’t fit and are designed strangely without putting them in!!) so hard luck!! Very very disappointed, poor customer services response and this item clearly not fit for purpose as if you’ve got chunkier lobes than the model, they ain’t gonna fit!
I bought a lovely ring from Olivia Burton but within 6 months a couple of the stones had fallen out. I contacted customer support and Adrian helped. They were very understanding and agreed, even though it isn’t included in their warranty, that they would replace it. Literally no hassle and completely understanding of the situation- something I think is quite rare these days.
Ordered a bee bracelet for my daughters birthday. Said silver on the website but when it arrived box said 100% brass from Thailand. Poor quality and very tiny. Cost £45 with the discount and very poor value. Having read reviews it seems not worth returning. Very disappointed.
Recently enquired whether I can buy a replacement watch strap for my wife's Olivia Burton watch from, guess who, Olivia Burton. Was promptly advised by email that they don't bother to sell replacement straps but that I was free to buy elsewhere or via SWICO, their watch repair partner. Why would I want to register and send a watch back for a strap replacement? And if anyone has tried to register with SWICO you will know it's a painful experience.Poor customer service for such a popular brand.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
