Is obilet.com Legit?

Experience was not bad, but we weren't informed where we will stop and that we will arrive first at the airport than at central bus station

The process of purchasing tickets through Obilet was straightforward, and I appreciated how quickly they responded to my emails and messages. However, their handling of issues is extremely disappointing and shows a lack of responsibility.I had a refund issue with tickets purchased through Obilet for a journey with Metro Turizm. When I reached out to Obilet for help, they said that "Metro Turizm handles both travel complaints and refunds within its own organization," and that Obilet had "no outside intervention." Essentially, I was told to contact Metro Turizm directly.After two months of countless emails, messages, and attempts to contact Metro Turizm (most of which were ignored), I finally received my refund. While I’m relieved the matter is resolved, I feel let down by Obilet’s approach. As a customer, I purchased the tickets through their platform and expected them to take responsibility for ensuring proper support. Instead, I was left to deal with another party entirely, wasting significant time and energy.If Obilet wants to build trust with its customers, it needs to take ownership of issues and actively assist in resolving them, rather than simply passing the problem off to another company.

Tried to buy a bus ticket for this December. Upon submitting payment details the process was stopped with a notation saying there was a company error and asked if I wanted to try again. Silly me tried again a second time. Same thing. What I now have is two ticket fees debited to my account, and I have been issued two cancelled tickets, which appear to be non refundable. Went on the online chat to complain. They said my case would be investigated. Haven’t heard from anyone. I’m very underwhelmed to say the least. Avoid this site! ….Just an update…Both refunded…received 12 November…which I appreciate.

I booked a Metro bus ticket with them. Unfortunately I booked it the wrong way - from Goreme to Konya. I should have booked it Konya to Goreme as I was in Konya. I realized my mistake 1 hour before. Metro Bus flatly refused to change or refund. Trying to get through to Obilet was next to impossible - tried chatting online, phoning, nothing. Had to buy another 2 tickets with another bus company

Dont buy ticket here.I bought a bus ticket in this company. However, the bus company didn't accept my ticket. The driver said there should be an QR code for my ticket (which my ticket does not have one) and scan that QR code when I get into the bus. Now i have to buy tickets on the bus again.

The service is really useful, booking a ticket through the site is very easy and convenient. The ability to use electronic tickets without having to print them is also great and makes the travel experience much better! Highly recommend:)

I booked a hotel room with a parking space for one day through obilet.com. When I got there, the hotel staff told me they dont offer any parking space. At the same time, I realised that its almost impossible to find a parking space close to the hotel. So, I asked obilet.com for help and to refund me based on this failure on their website. After calling many times, I got the answer that the situation has to be clarifyied, finallt they responded and told me that it wasnt their failure. Magically, when I made a complaint and wrote a review about my experience, obilet refunded now my payment back and has given me a goodwill check about 25 USD for all this trouble. Nevertheless, thanks to obilet customer service for clarifiyng this issue.

I have purchased my bus ticket from their app, it is so easy and user friendly. Here comes the better part, I had a last minute change on my itinerary and bingo, you can cancel your ticket online, that's so cool.

I tried purchasing a ticket to a turkish bus going from Antalya to Isparta. After payment processing the site gave me an error code. Money are gone, but no ticket info provided on site or via SMS, nothing. Bought the ticket on the same bus with the same seat number directly from the bus company. Sent a request via online form to refund. No answer. Read the FAQ - they claim they refund money for non-issued tickets automatically within few days. I never received it back.UPD: In the end of July a representative called me after reading this review and gave me apologies on behalf of the company and arranged a refund I was expecting.So I'm updating my rating. My wishes to the company to fix such problems in the future. I might try them again later.

Tried to rent a car from this site, it was from 724Rent a company listed on so many options. when I reached the office they didn't have the car I picked or similar so I asked to cancel and refund. they said to ask the site. No official section and after reaching to the support they considered the cancel request to be after the pickup time although I was already in the company office and the company itself sent the cancelation request to me directly. obilet insisted they didn't get any reply so they won't pay back anything. and after 5 days and multiple communication between Obilet and the rent company I managed to sort it out and the refund process should be started know not sure how long it will reach my account.---------------06-09-2024 Update:obilet contacted me after the refund reached my account and asked me to remove my review. I am confirming that I got my refund but I don't see that I wrote anything that isn't right or happened to me during my experience. So I don't think I need to delete it

The whole process of buying a ticket was very easy and great while purchasing on the go.The only recommendation I have is to put notice that the travel company require to get your ticket printed at the gate before traveling.

It is a handy way to buy tickets, but drivers are usually confused about the tickets on the phone and there is never an allocation.

The first company I trust to buy tickets. I've never had problems. They have 24 hours customer service.You can see the prices of multiple bus companies on a single page. Perfect

I bought a ticket online for the Lux Karadeniz bus. I had to take a bus in an intermediate city at the local bus station stop, I arrived at the stop in advance, a few hours before departure. Stayed there for a total of 8 hours!!! I waited for the bus until 4 am. But the bus never came! After that, I went to the hotel, and the guy at the hotel reception explained to me that it was useless to buy tickets online for intermediate stops, since obilet.com does not inform drivers about tickets bought online for intermediate stops, and drivers do not stop at such stops at all! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!I made compilat about that situation to obilet support and they just lied me about "successfull voyage without problems", and do not make refund... i am in frustration.... such unprofessional...UPDATE: obilet support just called me and repeat everything they say before, no refund, no excuses... what a "great service".UPDATE 2: after all I did get my money back for the tickets.

Everything was okay. The transfer arrived on time just as expected. 5/5
